A Hidden Gem in BayviewGratta Wines is truly an amazing hidden gem in the our neighborhood (Bayview)! My wife and I love stopping by whenever we need a lightweight date night--it's become our go-to spot. The wine variety is fantastic, with something for everyone, and their small bites are always on point, perfectly complementing the drinks. When my wife was pregnant we would still stop y and hang out even if she just drank the non-alcoholic stuff. What really makes Gratta special is the warm, welcoming vibe. Barb and Cathy, who run the business, treat us like old friends every time we visit, adding a personal touch that's hard to find. They even feature local goodies, which we love exploring--it's a great way to support the community while enjoying an amazing experience. Barb is a true ambassador of our neighborhood and we love that! If you haven't been yet, you're missing out on one of the best spots in SF. Highly recommend!

My favorite local wine bar! Barb Gratta is the owner and winemaker. She sells her own wines as well as has a fantastic lineup of other providers. It's a bar where you feel like everyone knows your name. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a friendly smile and spot at the bar. The ambiance is my favorite.I love her dolcetto and signature garage wine blend. I also come by for a nice plate of ravioli or tin fish dinner. It's way better than regular bar food. There's also a little market where you can pick up provisions if you need to take it to-go. I pick up gelato, pastas made in the neighborhood, canned tuna - it's all here for you. Stop by and cheers a glass with the locals!

Hidden gem at the southern end of 3rd street. Small Italian plates and wines made next door with Dry Creek grapes. Super local atmosphere. You want to check this place out.

Love this cute Bayview wine bar. Amazing, welcoming owners and staff and a good selection of wines and snacks. Also an adorable little market in the front to pick up cheeses, pasta, tinned fish and more! Gotta check it out.

We had never been here before although it's not far from the house. Fiancé said let's stop here for a night cap. We both had flights and the service is amazing. I had the Cabernet, Gavi, Petite Sarah and they let me taste the Zin. We will return again. Local hidden gem that needs more publicity.

Great service! Inviting staff and customers. When I entered and approached the bar, Barbara (the owner) greeted me warmly and asked me if I had been here. I said no, so she proceeded to introduce me to everyone at the bar. I ordered lasagna which was absolutely delicious and petite serah wine (Barbara's brand). The best experience.

If I was hesitant to Yelp an off-the-beaten path gem, then shame on me.Why? I kind of want this place all to myself.Gratta Wines has become my go-to for wine, bites, and just good-ass service. Super neighborhood quaint, no frills, no fuss. Just walk up, order, and have a seat. As of now, we always get a seat :). It's just a lovely neighborhood spot, and in these uncertain times, we need to support our community! Not to mention, Gratta is women owned and operated. Show up once, they'll remember you and they treat you like family. In terms of wine, go for the Garage Blend! They actually make it in their garage!! I've had the Sangria too, and that's worth a go especially on a warm day. And when it comes to food, everything is AMAZING! Cheese plate, Olives with bread, Spinach Ravioli, Eggplant (when they have it), and PUHLEEZE get that pudding for dessert if you can. It has been sold out the past couple of times, so if go and they have it, would you call me? LOL.Local love to Gratta.

Gratta Wines is a neighborhood and personal favorite. There is a lovely and inviting environment that is cultivated by the owners, staff and the community of regulars that come in. The wine is top notch, it's always on our list of gifts, as are the olive oil and vinegars they have bottled. The food is fantastic - chicken parm, meatballs and their French bread pizza are my go-tos. A very special place, so happy to have found it when we moved to the neighborhood!
