This place is a true hidden gem. My friends and I stumbled upon it via Yelp after a long hike in the nearby Wildcat Canyon Regional Park. The location is right off the highway. Parking is easy. I love the mostly outdoor seating (though there was some covered seating on the side of the building). And they had live music midday on Sunday! What a nice surprise. We all truly struggled with what to order among dozens of delicious sounding menu items. In fact, I couldn't pick just one thing so I got the chilaquiles and a side order of pancakes. Both were great. I also ordered a watermelon mimosa, which was nice. I wish I lived closer because if I did, this would be a regular weekend brunch spot. Great place to catch up with friends, great for a family meal and I think they allow dogs outside.

I drive past GG Bistro regularly whether heading to catch the ferry into the City or on a leisurely bike ride. Today, it was a beautiful winter day, warm and sunny, that got me outside. After bike riding for a couple of hours, I was a little hungry. The bistro was moderately busy, lots of people soaking up the sunshine. I ordered the beet salad figuring it would not feel like a lump in my belly when I rode back home. My beeper went off pretty quickly, my order did not take long at all.The salad was perfect - lots of beets and avocado on a bed of rocket lettuce, pearls of goat cheese and pumpkin seeds dressed in a light citrus dressing. I sat at a small table beside my bike, eating and taking in the industrial atmosphere of the neighborhood. The trees and vines have grown and matured since they first opened. One is the olive trees has been allowed to spread it's branches with minimal pruning and had a couple of bird feeders hanging on the branches, while others have taken on a topiary look, pruned into a spherical shape. The potted plants look nice and soften the edges of concrete.Great spot overall for a casual lunch!

Such a cute local spot to grab some yummy breakfast/ brunch! Honestly love coming here and sitting outside on a nice slow Sunday morning. They sometimes have live music which is great. Food is delicious and makes for a perfect spot to grab breakfast. Only issue is sometimes I find seating difficult unless you want to sit directly in the sun and there's a bunch of bees but that's just nature! The staff is super friendly as well! Patio has plenty of flowers etc to make is a great hang out spot. Love this hidden gem!

Decent pit stop for coffee and some brunch items! They have outside patio seating. A purchase here gives you entry to the Columbia employee priced store which was my main reason for coming. Smooth process.

Pretty good. Cute spot with outdoor seating only... Sooo... great for a warm day. Chilly on a cold day. I feel like I wanted it to be better for how expensive it was. Everything about it looked really great but idk for some reason didn't hit like I wanted it to. Definitely was pretty good just not 5 star experience overall. We got the California Benedict and the French toast combo. You order at the counter and grab your food on a tray when it's ready. Pretty fast service. Busy. $50 for breakfast for two.

My first time here and took my parents and daughter to enjoy a good Saturday morning breakfast. I have to say, it's a very cute spot hidden in Richmond. It has a very farmhouse, local, and homey vibe.. the front area has plenty of outdoor seating and decorated w succulents and plants. The service was quick through their order window and the portions were large. Definitely enough to keep you full, each of our orders were very flavorful and tasty. The home fries were super buttery and the bacon was very thick and crispy.. if you live in the area, you probably know about this place but if you're passing thru, come stop by and support this local bistro. THANK YOU Golden Gate Bistro!

Another successful brunch at this place.I had pancake combo this time and my wife had their Philly cheese steak sandwich Bothe were tasty. She opted to not have grilled onions or peppers, but I told her she should have just had it the way they make it then she could have decided for next time. No live band today which was fine.

This place is off the beaten path and I found it through my trusty Yelp.It located in an industrial section and nice place to stop. If you love the sound trains, even better. This place looks like a giant ship container converted into a kitchen. Seating is outside or covered seating with heat lamps, but still in the outdoors element. The staff is nice and service pretty quick. You order at the window and they give you a buzzer and then you pick it up They have an assortment of item and I settled on the French toast combo which came with eggs, meat of your choice and home fried potatoes. The presentation of my breakfast was really nice and the french toast was topped with freshly sliced strawberries. Over all the breakfast was good, but the french toast needed a little bit more work. Some of the slices of bread weren't coated in the egg mixture so parts of it was like grilled toast and it was missing powdered sugar. My eggs, scrambled which I also get when eating out were perfect. Not too mushy or too stiff. I will try this place out again perhaps check out the pancakes or burrito breakfast option.
