What a terrific little spot! I can't believe I have not been here in the 15+ years that I've lived in the Tri-Valley. The Service is wonderful, went with a friend the owners know and they even remembered to bring out a piece of jewelry her daughter had left on the restroom sink some time ago when they'd been there! My friend is a pescatarian, so it was a little different from my usual ordering. We had the veggie mushu, shrimp fried rice and spicy green beans... all were delicious!!! I loved the old school Chinese restaurant vibe inside, reminded me of some of my favorites in the City. Also, I was able to watch them bus a table and was impressed in how thoroughly he cleansed and sanitized the whole space. Definitely going to come back again and again!

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this restaurant yet! I am telling you that they have the best chicken fried rice in the area! Omg you can literally order that and be satisfied. The chicken pieces in it are fried so it's definitely yummy and the rice is perfect consistency of jasmine rice and not salty. The pics I posted are mid meal since I was way too hungry and forgot to snap a pic! The crab Rangoon was pretty good as well. In other visits I have had their Mongolian beef and mandarin chicken. Both amazing. The staff are wonderful and attentive. You can tell they have been here long and have their regulars! The restaurant space is pretty spacious but I can see it getting packed on the weekends! If you're planning to get your Chinese food craving, look no further and try Gold Chopsticks you won't be disappointed!

Still very good, very fast, but still expensive. But I keep coming back because there are some dishes here that our family feel like we just can't live without.

This place is for white people and Chinese people as the food seems to me a half-half mix between hardcore Chinese and bland white people chow. The Hot and Sour soup is good and they give you some homemade Sriracha sauce which is a bonus. The come in very small plastic cups but the boss lady gives two so it becomes a non issue.Chow Mein is solid. White rice (steamed) on the side is good and seemed better than Uncle Ben's which I have at home. They have football on tv so if you eat there, you are covered for entertainment.Lastly, the lady gave me four fortunate cookies and said that was a lucky number, so I got that going for me, which is nice.No photos because I was hungry and ate too fast.

We used to come here often, but it has been a while since our last visit due to events not happening in the area anymore. Anyways, we came into the restaurant ready to place a takeout order and to our shock the prices were shockingly high. You could tell they just raised prices because they were taped or written over the old prices on the menu. When I stated I'd like to order Wonton Soup, she asked if I wanted a small or large. Shocked by some of the prices on the menu, I thankfully asked how much the large soup was and she stated $25 for a large soup and $15 for small soup. It was at that moment that I understood why the place was empty. We were the only ones there. We did end up ordering the small soup and fried rice to go but man it was expensive. The soup after the sticker shock was truthfully not that good. The Wontons were extremely thick and doughy. The chicken fried rice was good and had large pieces of chicken in it. It was nice to have rice that wasn't soaked in soy sauce. However, none of it was worth the high high prices being charged. I'm still in shock about $25 for a large soup.

I was at this restaurant last Monday (Presidents day) at 2:00 with a friend of mine. The waitress, who made it apparent she would have preferred to be any place but at work, came over and asked what we wanted for lunch. She quickly added "hurry up in order because the restaurant closed in an hour". I was pretty taken aback by her rudeness. The food was OK. I have been here several times before and haven't had this experience. Just thought I would mention it because I wanted the restaurant to know she is definitely not an asset to your team/business.

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant. Sadly when we began to eat the Fried Rice we ordered, BIG AS LIFE, right in the middle of the second serving was a THIN PIECE OF METAL WIRE that was most likely part of a cooking utensil. The wire was about 1-2 INCHES LONG and would have choked anyone swallowing it and maybe killed them.I returned to the restaurant and when I showed it to the owner, I could tell that she instantly recognized where it came from. From an $80 bill, all she offered back was the cost of the fried rice, about $20.VERY INAPPOPRIATE!!DO NOT EAT AT GOLD CHOPSTICKS. YOU MAY CHOKE TO DEATH ON THEIR FOOD!!!
