I like coming here for Korean food once in a while. Prices are reasonable. My party ordered Seafood pancake and Tofu soup with Beef & Seafood. The meal comes with 5 complimentary small dishes. They all taste good.Waitress is attentive. The ambience is decent.

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend, and overall, the experience was enjoyable, though there are a few areas that could use refinement. The ambiance and cleanliness of the space are commendable--inviting, comfortable, and well-maintained. As for the food, the bulgogi and seafood pancake were the undeniable stars of the meal. The pancake was perfectly crisp on the outside and generously filled with fresh, flavorful seafood. Meanwhile, the bulgogi delighted us with its unique smoky undertone, an unexpected but welcome twist. Other dishes, including the spicy beef soup, spicy pork belly, bibimbap, chicken wings, and house noodles, were satisfying, but they didn't quite outshine the aforementioned highlights. However, the banchan (side dishes) left something to be desired. While the kimchi was flavorful and well-balanced, the remaining sides were lackluster and surprisingly bland. Additionally, we were disappointed to see a macaroni salad offered in place of traditional options like pickled radish. A Korean restaurant should celebrate its authentic roots, and macaroni salad felt out of place.Service was a mixed bag. While our waitress was attentive for most of the meal, we felt rushed when placing our order. Despite letting her know we needed more time, her insistence on hurrying us was unwelcomed and dampened the initial impression. In conclusion, while the restaurant has its strengths--most notably its standout dishes and inviting environment--a few tweaks in the banchan offerings and service approach could elevate it to new heights. We're optimistic about its potential and would consider returning, albeit with tempered expectations.

Honest Review: 3star at the most since having eaten here for yearsMy fam and I have debated over the years that this was our go to "expensive" Korean BBQ since it was always a bit more pricier than the others around them within a 2-3min driving radius. The reason being was that their quality of food which included meats, soup, noodles, fried rice and side dishes were much fresher and better than their competitors...at least until more recently, really not sure what happened especially with such early closing hours at 8:30pm; do they not want to make more money or maybe it seems sus for not having to pay into employee benefits/insurance since cutting hours below max full-time of 40hrs/wk.Anyway we mostly order these as follows:1. Seafood Pancake (used to be filled with more grilled octopus but now just a mouthful of green onions)2. Jhap Chae (this is my all time fav because they make it super tasty and it's in a hearty bowl instead of a plate; kept nice and warm but you must request less oil since the bottom can be resting on a good amount of it)3. Beef Fried Rice (again, make sure to request for less oil; we prefer this over the Kimchi Fried Rice since my fam is unable to do spicy lol sucks for them because I love kimchi)4. Ox Knee Soup (used to be filled with lots of big tendon pieces now sliced into much thinner ones with more glass noodles as a filler)5. Gogoong Noodle Soup: Seafood (very inconsistent now where you must request for less salt and noodles cooked longer)6. BBQ Short Ribs (can't go wrong, still very nice hearty pieces that are rich in flavor so very happy they've kept their quality and did not go thin on us like their other competitors).***DO NOT ORDER the Fried Chicken Wings (they have now become so mini that it should be on a kids menu) and the Fried Seaweed Roll (not homemade; literally taken out from a bag you can buy at the supermarket yourself to make at home)The reason why I'm still giving them a 3star is due to the fact that they've been around for a long time and I have recommended fam and friends to try before they started going a bit sour. I really hope that they bounce back and get back in shape, it may be due to management and their owner; however, I'm really hoping that their long term hostesses/waitresses/servers (I thought they were sisters at one point lol) speak up and demand for what's best for them and us as their loyal customers!!!

I will be coming back to this place soon! I love the rice wine and all the side dishes it came with. My favorite were the fried wings! The service was quick and the food came out fast since it was on a weeknight but there were still a lot of people dining there.

My friend and I love Go Goong! The beef soft tofu soup is what we order everytime. We get medium spice, which is perfect for me. The restaurant is open for lunch and then again for dinner, so you have to check the times. They play Kpop music. There are plenty of tables. We have never been on the waiting list before lunch. We usually get there around 12:00. The banchan is always good. My friend likes the fish cakes, they don't always have it, but you can ask. I like the kimchi and the cucumbers. The Galbi is delicious! I ordered it to go for my husband and they packed it like a full on lunch with rice and banchan. It was so cute! I was just expecting galbi. We have had the seafood pancake, which is delicious and also the chicken wings are good and crispy. The rice tea or water is delicious. I'm not sure if you have to ask for it. But we had it last time we were there. The waitress is very sweet. She remembers my friend and I from coming in before. Of course we will always be back to have our tofu soup.

This was one of my favorite Korean BBQ lunch spots, so I'm not sure why it took me so long to write a review. It's been awhile since I've been back, but not too much has changed. However, they no longer have pork belly on their BBQ lunch menu. I'm pretty bummed about that since it was my favorite. The place has a nice layout, with the tables pretty spread out. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have typical Korean items, like ramen, bibimbap, chicken wings, and soups/stews. Today I tried their BBQ spicy pork over rice. I was afraid it might be too spicy, but it wasn't. It had the perfect subtle heat and great bbq flavor. Their fried chicken wings were juicy and delicious. Their kimchi ramen was flavorful.I'm glad this place is still as good as I remembered.

Such yummy delicious food! We have come many times here and always leave feeling satisfied eating a sumptuous meal! Being a vegetarian- our best options are Soon Tofu/ hot stone bibimbap! We tried the kimchi ramen with water broth ( request for vegetarian) and it was so good especially on a winter afternoon/ light showers outside! Service is always nice! It's a cute place as well. Parking never an issue.

Gave this place several tries here and there over the past few years to see if they have improved since 2017 in comparison to other Korean places around. Came again this past week and happy to say that the food is no longer excessively salty and the tofu soup actually has a decent amount of beef compared to other places. All of the side dishes were well balanced, although they do not offer as many sides as other places. Service was adequate with one server, and while they still had odd hours, closing Monday and Wednesday, will not be as hesitant to hit this place up when craving Korean food anymore. Regarding ambiance, the interior decor is nice, but would like to see them put more into the upkeep of the floors, tables, walls, etc.

I came here twice in a week ! The restaurant located in the corner so it's not hard to see but it's right next to a liquor store if I remember it correctly. Service is good and fast. It's spacious ! We ordered the whole chicken soup with ginseng which was so good for a raining day. The chicken was so tender and easy to fall apart but it's quite small than I expected. We also got the spicy squid; hot and chewy. You can ask to have the side dishes refill many time you like. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area.

Five stars isn't enough for this gem! Whenever we're too lazy to cook, this is the spot we turn to. The food is authentic and delicious, with phenomenal banchan (side dishes) that keep us coming back for more. The restaurant is always super clean. Even the bathrooms are always well taken care of. The staff treats us like family, always warm and welcoming, making every visit feel like a special occasion. Special shoutout to the amazing girl who runs the place--she's fantastic, attentive, and makes the entire experience unforgettable. Our absolute go-to for Korean comfort food!
