Great long time favorites for live music and great people! Geoffrey the owner is the gem that has kept this place for so long in the heart of Oakland. I lost an important item and he overreached by calling his staff to help me find it. I really appreciated the effort. Because he truly didn't have to do the extra effort to help me! I hope more people support this establishment! Especially on Sundays when they have live music that reminds me of good times in Harlem, if recent days!

Great live music. Great food. Geoffrey was very welcoming. Delma is such a sweetheart. First time here, definitely not the last. Great place to listen to music and hanging out with friends. Celebrated a birthday here and they were very nice to put the cake on a cake platter. Great vibes, friendly atmosphere.

Amazing place to see live jazz! I had a great time and really enjoyed the soul food dinner and the cocktails too.

Geoffrey's Inner Circle is a nice place. I had my high school reunion here. We had great food and good size room to party. But, the restrooms and elevator are not the greatest. The elevator is old and very narrow. Some wheelchairs can barely fit in it. You have to really go at an angle to get in and out of it. The restrooms are not that wheelchair accessible either. They are decently clean, but not the greatest look. Overall, would I come back here again? If I had to, yes, but I wouldn't throw a party here. However, if there is no one with wheelchair accessibility issues, this venue would be a nice place to host a party.

Came on 11/17/2019. I found parking right on the corner. The admission price was recently increased to $12 and the food increased to $12. The crowd was very diverse and primarily over 60, so I'm pretty confident that no fights will break out and no one is going to get cut tonight. The performance was pretty good and I don't feel that I wasted my $12. This is a great venue to just kick it for a few hours and enjoy some good entertainment. My only minor suggestion is that they dim the lights a little cuz with the bodies and no ventilation, it gets rather warm in the room.

On a whim my girlfriend and I went to Geoffreys last night and wow! What a treat. I had no idea who was playing but the band was awesome! They had mixture of a church group and a birthday celebration in attendance, so the crowd was really lively and welcoming. In the bar area they were serving some of the best soul food I ever had for $10 a plate. The music was a mixture of jazz and blues, with different guest singers and musicians. I had an awesome time, and not many places where the owner comes out and greets everyone, but I shook his hand and thanked him for a great time.

Geofferey's Inner Circle is a blessing to the Bay Area. It's beautiful, it offers some of the best Jazz and Blues entertainment around. There you not only experience the best live music but "Soul Food as well. Here you can dress up, be entertained and dine with the best of them. It is indeed a healing and uplifting experience. Go treat yourself!

REVIEWER # 32Well, Hello Geoffrey's! I'm so happy I've met you. I heard you've been open for over 20+ years and I find that so hard to believe! Where have I been? I couldn't help but admire how sexy you looked from the outside. Yes, I'm talking about those sexy red stairs that led to the amazingly glamorous venue. Boy, you are just perfect for dates! Have you been to Geoffrey's? Do you love some jazz music? What about enjoying Sunday jazz music? Well, what the heck are you waiting for? You need to run your butt to Geoffrey's for some amazing music, tasting drinks and a good ol' meal. I came to Geoffrey's on my birthday and truly enjoyed myself. it's a full service entertainment and catering venue. It cost $10 to get in and $15 if you want dinner. The music, vocalist, and band are wonderful and the crowd is lively. Yanice Taylor is wonderful and is the host of Sunday! You can't help but notice how classy the venue is! It is a historic Oakland Institution with so much history; such a wonderful place to wine and dine. Perfect for date nights, FYI! They have a bar in the back where you could order drinks. They also have servers that walk around during the night and take orders. I truly can't think of a better way to spend my Sunday evening; I'm in love with Geoffrey's!

This establishment right here...oh boi!!!! One of Oakland's oldest a definitely the cream of the crop for excellent music, fantastic food and wonderful opportunities to meet new and awesome people. Geoffreys has a great history here in Oakland. Some of the best players have crossed that threshold, locals and world famous, instruments in hand, ready to make it all come together. I've found myself excitedly awaiting the doors to open again. Thank you Geoffrey Pete for all that you do for all of us.
