My fave roll here is the Veggie Lover Roll !! Often understaffed during busy times but never a terrible wait !! ( & worth it for the food ) Prices & quantity are reasonable, quality fresh & tasty !!There are enough vegan selections for me here !! They offer 3 kinds of noodles here: Ramen, Udon & Soba !! Bento Box (2 item choices )Served with soup, salad & rice for lunch & dinner!Pleasant Japanese decor, servers very polite & friendlyWhen the owner found out it was my friends birthday she brought out a slice of cheesecake w/a candle & sang !!!!!

Genki Sushi House in Restaurant in Hercules is the place to be at when you crave sushi and bento box. A nice small restaurant in Creekside Plaza.What do I like to get at Genki...Chicken and Teriyaki Bento Box. The Bento Box is amazing. I love the taste of my food. The service at Genki is amazing. During the pademic they still did business with take out only. It was just recently I notice that dine in is allowed. The inside of the restaurant is nice. Quite a few tables that are close to others but I don't mind dinning next to someone. I have see servers swiveling around to get your food to you. Definitely will be back to Genki Sushi House Restaurant

Hole in the wall spot that has pretty good quality sushi! Haven't had it since I was a kid in Hercules but recently went and tried it again and to my surprise, the sushi tasted really good! I didn't even get a chance to take a photo of the other roll I got (which was the Kamikaze roll)

Service was good, the waitress was really nice. I have had some questionable service before...where it looked like the owner and the younger staff member had a tiff. The food has always been subpar, even tho people keep raving about the food here. I've had better sushi elsewhere. Ambiance is nice and welcoming. No complaints here.

Food is always fresh , flavorful and deliciousService is great ALWAYS AMBIANCE is nice and intimate. I like coming here for date night or just to grab lunch and go.

This place is probably the highest quality of sushi you will find in the Hercules/Pinole area. I would rather make the trip over to Concord or Berkeley -- but this restaurant does satisfy the sushi craving if you don't feel like driving that far. The salmon sashimi was fresh, but on the one occasion I got the toro sashimi it was not that fresh. The main reason I choose this restaurant over other sushi places in the area is for their crunch salmon roll wrapped in soybean paper -- I love the soy paper so much and I haven't seen many other places do it like this lol. I always order it when I go here. Unfortunately, today the salmon in the crunch roll was overcooked and dry. The main downside of this restaurant is the wait time. I called ahead of time for takeout and they told me it would only take 30 minutes but I waited about 40 minutes. I normally don't mind waiting, I've just noticed that every time we come in whether it's for take out or sit down it takes about 30-40 minutes for the food to come out. If you don't mind the wait, the food is pretty decent and the servers are friendly. Lots of parking in the area and this place has been a Hercules gem for a long time!

Sashimi was fresh. Sushi well prepared. Very friendly service. Clean dining. Highly recommended.

Probably Best Ramen you can get in the area.Noodles taste housemade, nice chew, broth is so flavorful.14 bux for the ramen with tonkatsu, fried cutlet, easy choice!

I highly recommend if you need your sushi fix! The Miami lady and deep fried spicy tuna. It's smacking. The customer service is friendly.
