This is my first time going to this supermarket and my god, I loved everything about it, they were careful with who's going on and coming out, clean, went in there to grab this specific hot link and came out with a lot of vegetables because they have to he freshest vegetables, especially the greens and they got variety of seasonings and everything just looked so good. Couldn't resist coming out with just hot link. Definitely highly recommended. Wish we lived closer. Had to drive from sf to come here but will definitely be back to shop more

I recently went to this supermarket in hopes for a better meat selection then nearby stores from the night or that I live in. They had a wide selection of a lot of things. I would definitely recommend just shopping here. I did give 4 stars though, because I was looking for specific meat to go with my dinner that night and some of the meats I saw were a bit old in color. Certain things should be a bright red or pink even and it was more on the brown side, so I was supper disappointed about that but a lot of the other meats were completely fresh so I won't hold it entirely against them. Just hope that the next time I go I won't have to suffice for a different meat selection than what I originally wanted. Staff was super professional when checking out and friendly as well.

When it was time to pick up money staff hung up in my face and told me to call back another day. They also said he was not around. I demanded they call him to resolve the matter. I have had really positive experiences here. I think a lot of it is about managing expectations. This is a local store where you can get your basics. I have had really positive experiences with the folks who work there. I often underestimate how much i'll be buying and when they see my hands full they'll bring me a basket. I have a feeling the people complaining about the service here are people who expect too much. I TRIED TO BE OPEN_MINDEDWhen this place first opened it appeared to be a step up from the awful previous ownership...they played Old School Soul music and did a slight facelift. It was ok for getting basics- bananas, an avocado, an onion in a pinch.....BUT.....Unfortunately the stink and filth will make you pass out. Insult over injury the service is way slow. So sorry for the folk that have to depend on this place....its an insult.

I mainly come here for the fresh meats. I'm shocked by the lower ratings, especially the one about bad meat, because, since this store changed feom Gateway to Gazzali's, I've only gotten great meat at competitive prices and great service here. I like being able to find traditionally ethnic meat here, and that it is fresh. The only drawback is when there's only 1 butcher on duty you may have to wait several minutes to get served. Great little neighborhood market!
