Good Korean food. The best jampong I tasted compared to other Korean restaurants in Bay Area. Fried tangsuyuk is crispy. The chicken is best, soy garlic sauce taste good.

I've been to most of the Korean restaurants in the area and saw this spot on yelp and decided to give it a shot to compare! On a Saturday during dinner time (6:30pm), we arrived and the place was full -- there was another group of 2 on the waitlist before us. To put yourself on the waitlist, you come to the restaurant and write down your info (no online). It was about a 20 minute wait, which imo isn't too bad for a sat night. Once we got seated, the server brought us over the banchan and tea. The two of us got a half order of the soy garlic chicken and a jjam-jia-myeon. It took about 10 minutes for the jjam-jia-myeon to come out and then another 10-15 for the chicken. Food tasted great, didn't regret our choices. My friend did mention the shape of the chicken was a bit weird/interesting and it was hard to know where the bones were -- personally it wasn't an issue for me. Overall a pretty simple, no frills spot that has a limited menu so there's no analysis paralysis.

Went by for New Year dinner, they were a little light staffed, not sure if that was the status quo.Moving on to the eats...the seafood soup was the star of the show, lots umami and depth of flavor. The fried chicken was crunchy and volcano hit. The mediocre was the jiajang noodles were very middle of the road. The mandatory service charge for 5+ is a little draconian given lite service. Get takeout and try it!

Was craving some jajangmyeon, so had to try this place. The ambience is very diner-y. Simple interior, simpler menu. We ordered the jajangmyeon (of course) and the soy garlic chicken. Serving sizes are pretty generous as well.Jajangmyeon was saucy and delicious. Chewy noodles with so much sauce that there's no way you're leaving without sauce somewhere on you. The chicken was fire as well. The sauce was sweet and savory, the crunch was immaculate. I had a drumstick and it leaked on me everytime I took a bite, it was that juicy. I did have some white meat later which was not as juicy but still really good. Service was fast and attentive as well. Overall, definitely recommend

This was an unexpected gem in Oakland! Delicious and authentic - be aware that they mean Korean levels of hea when they say spicy. Prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly, and service was prompt. They were able to accommodate a large group of us in town for a conference very last minute. I'd definitely visit again if back in the area.

This is my favorite place to get jjajjangmyeon. I crave it every so often and always try to bring someone with me to experience the good food! My cousin-in-law introduced this spot to me over a year ago and I've been here more than 5 times (considering I live in Fremont). The service is fast and they're very accommodating. The ambiance feels homey and there's tables for many people to enjoy meals together. I'm excited to come back again

We came here at 6 pm on a Sunday. It was a full restaurant, but luckily we have the last table. We order 4 orders. Fried Rice with Jajang Sauce (4/5): it came out piping hot. It has good flavor. Put some red chilli powder on it makes it better. Popcorn Chicken with Soy Garlic Sauce (4/5): it's crispy, with good soy garlic flavor. The chicken was just fried, bc the inside was still hot.Jjampong-Jjang-Myun (5/5): The Jjampong is one of the best Jjampong we've eat. The flavor was deep enough, the umami from the seafood is good. The noodle are still springy after we have left the noodle sit for 10-15 min. The Jjang- Myun was also really good flavor. Tang-Su-Yuk (4/5): Crispy, but the sauce is a bit sour. But it's just me.
