Best baked goods I've ever eaten! They're baked with a French excellence! No skimping on the fresh and quality butter in their pastries etc. Never dissatisfied.

Have ordered the croissants twice, I have yet been able to bake them so the interior cooks. Tried proofing longer, checked my oven temperature with a gauge, etc. but to no avail. I can only eat the outside shell which is tasty. No offense but never had trouble baking Trader Joe's croissants. I LOVE Williams Sonoma so feel bad that I have to gI've this product a low rating.

Master Pastry Chef Jean Yves Charon is the Most Talented Pastry Chefs without a doubt!! I LOVE his pecan rolls (which I order from Williams Sonoma), & I've been ordering for easily 15 years, plus! Had the pleasure of waiting on Chef & his beautiful wife at Cavallo Point many, many times... lovely couple & very down to earth. Chef, if you see this, I hope this finds you & your wife well!!! xx

I finally decided to buy a box of their frozen mini butter croissants (exclusively sold by Williams-Sonoma) for the Christmas brunch.Upon opening the box, to let the dough thaw out and rise overnight (suggested is 6-8 hours), I couldn't help but notice how teeny each one was. I threw out my initial plan of two per person and decided to play it safe by upping the ante to three each.Big mistake! Look at the pictures. Those rolled up goodies rose like giants and looked as large as any of the regular croissants at the coffee shops and bakeries.A brush of egg-wash, fifteen minutes, and 375°F later, those beautiful brown, leavened, and buttery flakes of goodness were ready to go. The house was redolent with the buttery aroma in the morning, and those croissants did not disappoint one bit. It was airy, soft, and fluffy, for the most part, with little layers of flakiness in between.I expected great croissants, and they fully delivered.

Galaxy Desserts was founded by Pastry Chef Jean-Yves Charon and Paul Levitan - they offer French-inspired desserts such as mousse cakes, tarts, cheesecakes, cremes, macarons, pastries (croissants), and brioche (brioche loaves, rolls, and croissants). I really enjoy their Triple Mousse, which comes in 3 layers: dark, milk, and white chocolate mousse, topped with white chocolate shavings. It is not-too-sweet, fluffy, airy, and slightly creamy - yum! A great way to end a nice little meal! If you're lucky, you are able to taste some of these by ordering them specially from Neiman Marcus or W-S; some restaurants also offer these. Soon, the company will make online ordering available, so keep that in mind for upcoming holidays and special occasions! +French-inspired desserts!+Triple Mousse :D+online ordering soon available

A few months ago, I encountered Galaxy Deserts for the first time at a Yelp event. Being too lazy back then, I bumbled on through my life without taking a moment to write about the interaction. UNTIL NOW.December 19th, the memory hit me. Call it the ghost of cakes unloved, unpraised, yet so very worth knowing about. There where a few characters in this story. The first was a woman with a French accent. Then there was me, with my American accented French, and my hunger for cake. The main characters, however, were a tri-colade chocolate mousse cake and a mango mousse cake.Sorry to be a spoiler but the plot basically goes like this: the two cakes wage an epic battle and the chocolate one wins, but the mango is still hailed as a hero. The end. Wanna bite?

A year or two ago Galaxy Desserts produced sticky buns for William Sonoma. Back then the standard unit of issue was 4 per baking tin. They were decent size and delicious. Now the unit of issue are 6 per baking tin but smaller in size and more expensive. I will jot waste my money on this product again and William Sonoma will not publish negative reviews on their website.

I live in what is called the high desert of Oregon. So called due to elevation, nearly 3000 ft., and desert type climate. Moved here from the Portland area for retirement. To the point. I order pecan sticky buns from Galaxy through Williams Sonoma. In all of Oregon East of the Cascade Mountain range there are almost no bakeries, certainly none offering Galaxy authenticity. One bakery offering Euro style goods exists in the Portland area a 3 hour drive from here. It is very good. My first order arrived on time via 2 day air, thank you WS, in a styra foam cooler box. The buns were frozen solid as they should be. I thawed and let rise one tray overnight per instruction. Baked the next morning. Then........the result: magnificent! Light, flaky, rich dough with some sweetness and plenty of chopped pecans on top.I paid $5 each including delivery via 2 day air! A great deal for high quality product! This is the first of repeat orders. I intend to remain stocked up. Kept frozen the buns will last 5 months. Another bonus. If I lived near them I would be a frequent customer.
