The door to enter is kind of blocked off by a wall and it may feel odd or awkward to enter, but don't let that stop you. We came for late lunch and were the only ones here. There was one waitress working and she was kind and welcoming. We ordered three things and our order took about 25 minutes to come out. The fries came within 25 minutes. Fries were 6.99 and were okay... I was desperate for fries and would not get this next time. We ordered a boiled beef offal (it is a spicy chili oil soupy like sauce with beef and tripe, and bean sprouts). This was really good. It isn't too salty and the spiciness is perfect. It is $20.99 and definitely worth it, especially if you love tripe and bean sprouts! It's a pretty big serving which made us very happy given the price. The clay pot was $14.99 and it was pretty good! I just wish there were more rice given the price. I also noticed that the menu prices were a dollar or two difference for the clay pot and fries. I'm guessing they changed the price but didn't update the menu? I did not realize this until I looked at my photos of the menu on my phone. Honestly, not a huge deal but please check your bill. All in all, would come again for that beef tripe dish!

Cheat Eats Series: I give 4 stars for the convenience and pricing of this type of restaurant. It's a quick pace HK cafe with breakfast and lunch deal menus which is great for a smaller budget. Expect to have medium to small sized portions - you get what you pay for. - Onion pork chop over rice (lunch menu): Don't expect pretty presentation here, but I did enjoy the sauce over rice. This also came with a drink choice. Wish it had more veggies to come a long with the dish (7/10)- Pickled Cabbage and shredded pork (reg menu): I've ordered this a few times now and it's a simple rice noodle soup with pickled cabbage with a few pieces of pork. I personally like pickled cabbage and it satisfies a quick meal (especially as soup when it's cold), but definitely can be easily made at home. (7/10) It's also located in Oakland Chinatown which makes it a convenient location after picking up groceries.

Food is basic and good, Price is okay, Service is okay. Menu is confusing. Still don't understand the $5.99 breakfast menu. If adding a drink is $2.00 extra or just making the drink cold is $2.00 extra. Is the $5.99 bottom half of the menu only one item? Like is one egg is $5.99?

This place offers very good pricing. I always order the Sizzling Platter Set Meal and I would recommend folks getting it. The set contains a soup, a drink, and a well cooked protein served on a sizzling hot pan. The portion is very generous for the price. The only complaint I have for this place will be the bathroom. Their bathroom isn't the cleanest IMO. Given that the COVID-19 with Delta and Lambda variants are still spreading, I think it's very important to keep every corner clean in a restaurant, especially when the restaurant is open for indoor dining, so subtracting a star from this.

Great go-to place if you are on a budget! I came here on a Saturday (mid morning) and it was busy! I got breakfast combo B which included a bowl of porridge, plate of pan fried rice noodle, and an iced lemon tea. Overall, my meal was on par with other diner/cafes in the area. Rounding up to a 4 stars because it's super affordable for what you get. My meal was less than $7! Word of caution - service is what I expect in a typical HK cafe. Don't expect the best service, but the waiter I had spoke extremely fast and was in a real hurry!

Was craving HK breakfast so decided to give the combo meals here a try. Combo C from the breakfast menu & the condensed milk toast: - Oatmeal was super watery and didn't really taste like milk - The toast was just sad looking and soggy...pretty underwhelmed -Condensed milk toast was pretty good and so was the coffee milk teaProbably wouldn't come back for breakfast as the price and quality doesn't really match. That being said, there is a regular lunch/dinner menu and a lunch special menu that I haven't tried yet.

You may find me crazy giving this place a 4 stars but in reality we shouldn't only gave stars to only high price restaurants. This Full House Cafe offers both good price and good taste. To me Hong Kong style Cafe is comfort food for some of us with Asian roots. However, some of these places ncreased the price so much that I feel like eating something with better value. With Full House, you are paying less for better tasting food. instead of spending 12 dollars at Macdonalds for a breakfast, go ahead and give this place a try.

They have the best quality hot hk style milk tea in Chinatown! Only the real people that drink hk milk tea will know. All the other places in Chinatown can't even get their tea right to even start brewing hk style milk tea! Cheers to a quality cup~

My parents always buy me the pork chop with garlic sauce and onion and it's delicious! The milk tea reminds me of an Authentic Hong Kong cafe. Whatever you order here, it's going to taste good! Give it a try !
