the place is very nice for 200 people, the only problem i had was in the lady's bathroom. It was clogged up I called a Plumer at my own expense and the cleaners ate the cake I saved to my daughter without asking that was the worst experience I ever had.

I really wanted to love this venue, however, the recreation coordinator Crystal Stephen, was very unprofessional. We paid in full, up front, to use this venue for our wedding reception, and Crystal was very inconsiderate to go on vacation right before our wedding day without passing on the important details we wanted to the staff that were helping on the day of.I recommend people to save your time, energy, and your wedding... unless you want your wedding day to be ruined. Crystal was unresponsive the last couple days before the wedding, and her supervisor, Sandy, called after hours on the Friday before the wedding saying it was too late to help us. On the day of the wedding, their stage microphones weren't working properly during song performances and the speeches. Staff weren't able to do anything about it. Please note that our wedding video is also now ruined as well. A couple days after the wedding, we called Crystal for compensation, but she was very hesitant and wasn't really trying to work with us. My husband basically had to "negotiate" with her and she finally gave in. Although, I don't still don't think what she refunded us was worth the damage. We even had to follow up with the remaining amount, which she never sent in the first place. I am very disappointed with the outcome of the Dan Foley Cultural Center's services due to staff's carelessness and unprofessionalism including its coordinator (Crystal Stephen), and her supervisor (Sandy Tawaratsumida). Please save your time and energy, and look elsewhere!

Nestled behind Kaiser Permanente in Vallejo, this park boasts a revamped soccer field, a baseball diamond and just plenty of open space to do whatever. I only come here to watch my son play baseball so there's not much to review other than the baseball field could use a lot of work. Because this is Vallejo, I'm just thankful that each visit has been a peaceful one. *knocking on wood*

We went to the Lake Room at the Dan Foley Cultural Center today for a retirement party. It was a great place to have an event! Large room with a stage for a band or DJ, dancing space, and an outside balcony. Really nice and very comfortable spot for your special event!

Went here yesterday to hang out and quickly wishes I had brought a grill... Pros: Clean with a small Lake and the cutest ducks. Cons: Bring your sunblock because there are not a whole lot of shaded areas if you have a large group. Will definitely go back...

Dan Foley is a great BBQ / picnic Park area. Recently came here for 7/4 to have a family BBQ / Picinic as a last min choice since Marina Park in Emeryville was very windy and chilly. Surprisingly, it was not overly crowded, sun was out and everyone was enjoying themselves. Playground area not to far from where we set up (grass area). By 9:30 we were able to enjoy the firework show in Six flags, at a distance you can see American Canyon & those who brought their own. Parking wasn't bad. The only problem i can say was the women's bathrooms. By the evening, it became very filthy, smelly, and no toilet paper / paper towels. There was urine and crap on the toilet seat and floor. Very disgusting. This is something the staff should keep tabs on especially on holidays. Parking for Vallejo residents was $4 and $5 for the out of towners.

Grew up coming to this place, so I have fond memories. Huge open space, but can become kind of cavernous. The decor and facilities don't seem like they've been updated in a long time. It's seriously a great building; it could just use a little touching up.

My experience has been nothing but GREAT! Dealing with Crystal was easy and she always answered my emails quick! The staff was excellent and super easy to work with. The staff set up the room exactly how I asked them to and they were super helpful with everything I needed. The room books up quick so don't wait to make your reservation!

This was a hidden gem for our event. The place holds up to 500 people banquet and we more than comfortably fit our almost 400 guests. The staff was great and the main lady, Mary, was also great. Would definitely go back to this venue!
