They have the best lighting and it makes for the perfect moody dance space.
Getting ready for an amazing show to start!

Very large, beautiful, well lit dance studio and theatre teaching pole dancing and the performance arts.I know of FVT through my pole dance instructor, Kirsten (Mz. K) at Sedusa Studio in Campbell. She's been one of my first pole dance instructors since 2014 at Sedusa, and have taken other pole classes with her over the years at Phoenix Pole and Aerial Arts when it was open in Berkeley as well. Mz. K has since opened FVT. Mz. K was the first pole teacher I've had who first class, asked if we've had any injuries, and what modifications we can do for them. As an acupuncturist, and Qigong instructor, I really appreciate that level of concern for students since every body is different, and helps us be more conscious of challenging movement for our physical needs.FVT is a terrific space for the pole community to expand on our dance repertoire and skills. One feels like a professional performer in that dance space. With 12 poles, there's plenty of space on smooth, gorgeous flooring to explore your sexy dance side. Did open pole dance practice and a dress rehearsal on stage to prep for PSO GG 2025 competition. Have yet to take dance classes there, but with the teachers on board, it will be a marvelous experience to explore all our pole dance dreams. Get started ASAP & get stronger and more gorgeous as you go. You won't regret it!

There are so many amazing things about Flux that I rave about to people who haven't experienced it yet. There's something for everyone here - dark and moody choreo classes, chair classes, Pilates-focused classes, flexibility ("fluxibility" - so cute!), intro classes for those who have never touched a pole and advanced classes for people who have trained for years. I know many dancers who drive from the far corners of the bay to train here. I can always depend on the community that flux has created - a safe space, a clean space, a welcoming space. The owners are present and feel like old friends even when you're new. I love them as instructors, performers, and mentors if you want pole career or teaching advice. If you come here, I guarantee you'll keep coming back!

I have been dancing at Flux for over a year now and I can say that it is the best place I've ever danced and I've been to countless studios (no shade to anyone else, this place has just become my home). For starters, the studio is gorgeous and well-maintained. You can tell a lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into making the studio and theater. From the way the poles are maintained to the glittery bathroom floor. They also made it a point to make the entire studio ADA-accessible with every event - prioritizing inclusion. Their classes are held with veteran instructors who really care about your own growth. Their roster of instructors is also very diverse when it comes to ethnicity, race, and body type! (Yay for body inclusion!) They also are the only place around here for folks to take classes for burlesque from seasoned professionals and local talent. Every instructor performs regularly in the Bay Area and I think that perspective is really important for folks that want to grow when it comes to stage presence. The way they run their shows as a theatre is also TOP NOTCH. So much so that I plan on having my wedding there! It's just too nice of an event location. The biggest thing for me though is that the owners actually REALLY care. They do their best to learn everyone's names and become invested in your progress. They also care about the community and have hosted First Aid and CPR training, clothing swaps, and other community events.

I got to see the Crimson Cabaret show and it was really fantastic! The dancers were awesome, the story was great, all so fun and creative, the opposite of boring theater. I liked it so much that my friend and I started taking classes and it's really fun. My friend is more advanced than me, so I appreciated the beginner intro and she jumped right into climbing and inversions. I can't say enough good things about this place, both as an entertainment theater venue, and a fun workout too!

Great theatre for shows and pole dancing class.SHOWS:Their shows are RIDICULOUS! The creativity, aerial tricks, humor, set design, and overall vibes are so fun and breath taking! They use eventbrite and have standing, seating, and VIP ticket options. They usually sell drinks and some light snacks. Plenty of great restaurants around (my fav is passione emporio on 5th). Every show I've been to has been amazing. Well produced and managed, so there's no waiting around and things don't drag on!CLASSES:There are plenty if pole studios in the bay each offering their own vibes and expertise. Flux offers one of the most beautiful spaces for pole classes in the bay. Whether it's their day classes showgirl provocateur which offers amazing light for a cozy vibe or their night classes like Dolli's Choreo where their fun lights turn on for a night club vibe! Each teacher brings something special. I love Mz. K sense of humor and awareness of body mechanics to avoid injury, Dolli's super sexy choreo and bubbly personality, Sade's sequences and flow! Even more instructors are starting to teach at flux which is great! Whether you wanna pole dance or you wanna watch some pole/aerial excellence--Flux is your place!

First, I am a long time instructor at another pole studio and have been to many others before. I took an awesome choreo class with Zahra last night at Flux. The space is gorgeous and spacious. The vibes of the studio are inclusive and friendly, and Zahra herself was a positive and talented instructor! She made sure each student was comfortable with the movements and techniques throughout the class. It was an all levels class, and she ensured the movements were attainable for everyone. The owners of the studio made sure to greet each student as they came in and ensured everyone felt welcome. I'll definitely be back and support them!

When I bought my class pass I was excited. And then I saw that they worked with a local dance group that I've had very negative and traumatic experiences with.I requested a refund, and my class pass was revoked. I never got the money back.Other than they're absolutely nonexistent Customer Service, I'm sure they're a wonderful studio. I would've loved to take classes, but I am just not comfortable supporting a space that supports people who lied and bullied me for something I said that was a compliment.

My second home! This studio is incredible and the owners have put so much thought into making this a versatile dance space and event venue with complete ADA accessibility. There is a variety of classes on the schedule with very talented instructors. The place is kept very clean and the ambiance is breathtaking, sexy, fun, cozy and welcoming! I love taking classes here and the events are spectacular. If you're thinking of taking a pole class, go!
