Five Star Chicken

Absolutely delicious! Friendly customer service and the space was really clean! Don't be discouraged by the area/ neighborhood this is a local gem! I personally think it's better than Chicken Guy down in American Canyon, which I was disappointed with. I'll be coming back to Five Star Chicken! Also, that special house sauce is really tasty!

I think the best things for a fried chicken sandwich is that it's not salty and that it's spicy at the same time while still being tasty. Added bonus is that it is just the right spice and not burning my tongue off. I had the kick n chicken and a hot honey chicken sandwich and for someone really sensitive to salt and sticks to baked chicken, the person with me really liked the hot honey chicken. The service was really great as well especially for that part of Vallejo and if you're brave enough to go to that area at dinner time they got the sandwich formula down to being a serious competitor.

Came in 1:00PM on a Sunday afternoon, and there were about 3 other pairs in the restaurant. We opted to sit outside and they created such a nice comfortable space. The tables were clean and you're surrounded by "greenery".Food: BF ordered the Five Star chicken sandwich combo $11.99 (combo means comes with fries only) and I had the 3 tenders non-spicy $15.99 (comes with fries, a pickle slice on top of each tender, and side of kick'n sauce). They also have ranch, mustard, sweet and sour sauce available. Their kick'n sauce was very good and is a must on their tenders. What really stood out for me I think is their fry, it is crispy crunchy perfection. Chicken was moist/not-dry on the inside. The strawberry sunrise lemonade $3.99 was cold and sweet and worked well with our meal. Service: They gave us the wrong order but made things right. They definitely live up to the 5 star in their name. My meal came about 10 minutes after ordering. Overall: Love the outdoor seating space (which has some shade) and would come again to try their loaded fries. Parking is curbside!

I wish I could give 4.5 stars. The food and service were both very good. I wish they had more seating.We got a chicken sandwich and cheese fries. We were happy with both. Their kickin' sauce was like fry sauce and was also good. You can get different levels of spice. We will be back.

Newly opened halal chicken place with sandwiches, tenders, fries, lemonades and shakes. I went on a Sunday afternoon, ordered a to-go chick n cheese fries, cheesy chicken sandwich, and hot honey sandwich. All were spicy, tender chicken with crunchy outside and juicy inside. Plenty of jalapenos on all orders. 10 minutes wait for orders. Ok ambiance, clean small place not much seats but offers outside seating. Street parking. This business has a lot of potential if located in a business plaza, although I like the current location as it is closer to home. I will be back to try the shakes and others.

Decided to try this restaurant and was very happy I did. The chicken sandwich was delicious. Crunchy outside and moist inside. The fires were cooked just the way I like it too. Had a great crispness in each bite. The person serving was very nice and helpful. The place was very clean. I opted to take out my food and enjoy my food as I watch the waters at the marina.

Excellent service the 3 times I've been. Spicy chicken strips are really good. They're large, so a 2 piece suffices. The way the mac was made wasn't my thing, though.

Sandwich was awesome! Spicy kick n chicken sandwich was freshly cooked and flavorful! Friendly crew and wasn't stingy with sauce. Ask for the special sauce! Definitely coming back with the family!

My new favorite chicken sandwich in town. This will satisfy my Hot Boys and Raising Cane's cravings without having to leave Vallejo. Got the spicy 5 Star chicken combo, tenders, Mac n cheese and cole slaw. All the items were on point. Service was prompt and staff was great. In the words of Arnold, I'll be back!
