Fat Maddie's Grille

Can't believe I haven't written a Yelp review for our favorite spot yet! Fat Maddie's is absolutely delicious. The food, price, and flavor keep us coming back again and again. Everything on the menu is a hit, but the California burger and garlic feta fries are especially worth it.The staff is always super friendly, and they even recognize us now because we come so often. It's hands-down the best American food in town--a true hidden gem that more people need to check out!

You can always count on Fat Maddie's Grille! The hubs and I stopped by for lunch recently. It had been a while since we've eaten here so immediately after our first bite we look at each other and said, we gotta come here more often!I ordered the chicken Cali sandwich, the hubs ordered Frisco burger and we shared a basket of garlic fries. The buttery grilled toast on both of our sandwich/burger was perfection! I could just eat that toast all day! It's so buttery and crispy/crunchy.. just the best! I throughly enjoyed my Cali chicken sandwich that had grilled chicken, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and Mayo chipotle spread. It was soo good. My husband ate his Frisco burger and he said it was delicious too.Why the 4 stars you ask? So the sandwich and burger was yummy but the garlic fries was a bit disappointing. We ordered garlic Parmesan fries but there was barely any garlic but there was plenty of Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it, like Kraft Parmesan. The fries were okay and it tasted better with their delicious ranch sauce but I was hoping for thinner shoestring fries with garlic parsley chunks along with Parmesan cheese.

I haven't been for awhile, but it turns out it's still solid grub! Always friendly and quick service.Food notes:Maddie Melt (2.5 Stars) Their patty melt is not traditional, thus the name change. Comes with mushrooms and no 1k or Russian but still has Swiss cheese and caramelized grilled onions and grilled rye bread. The meat is decent, cooked to order.On its own, it's not that great, but if you add mustard or a side of 1k, it's ok.Onion rings (4 stars) always great. Clam chowder (4.5 Stars) Great claim chowder, creamy, just the right amount of claims, plenty potatoes. Good stuff!Ranch (5 Stars) Their ranch is awesome, love it on the onion rings!Until next time...

We have been to fat Maddie's for many years and we still love getting it when we craves for sandwiches and burgers.We went around 5pm for take out and there was no one. This time we got the grilled crab & cheese and the chili cheese dog.The crab & cheese is market price and it was $14. Generous amount of crab and the sandwich is quite big.Chili cheese dog was $10 and it had lots of chili and cheese covering the hot dog!! The hot dog didn't seem soggy and it was flavorful.Fat Maddie's has another location in Blackhawk which I haven't tried but the price seems higher.

Get the Steak sandwich enough said. Good tunes, metal chairs not so great. Dining room could use a refresh. The Crew are friendly and attentive. Good value for the $$

It's a great place to hang out with wonderful food and beer. Just a relaxing place for a quick family dinner or lunch. The service is friendly.

Maddie's favorite salad really is the best. My last two visits, I ordered Maddie's Favorite Salad and it's the perfect blend of simply delicious! It's healthy, too!The customer service is what sets this restaurant apart from all the others in the area. The servers and cashiers are always pleasant and friendly. As a family, we would say that Fat Maddie's in consistent with maintaining the quality of their food. And try the clam chowder because the kids love it.

Luckily my work group came at around 1 so they were not busy. Oh my gosh, the service is out of this world and the food, don't get me started. We had hamburgers all around. The hamburger is so juicy and the fries are so amazing. All the staff is super friendly and personable. Thank you for the amazing lunch. I will be back with family and friends soon!!!!!

Do not let the location force you to understand estimate this eatery for to do so would be an error. This restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating, a friendly customer service, and some of the best food you will consume. Their burgers rivaled the best burgers in the East bay, their chicken skewers were excellent and their fries were prepared with great care. The garlic fries, for our tastes, were too much garlic. I long to return to this eatery for it reminds me of a family style restaurant whose main ingredient for their dishes is love.

So this is the first time I've been here, I saw the reviews on yelp and decided to give it a try. I looked at the menu options and the prices look good and the reviews were good and yeah, I like this place a lot. The food was great, good prices. They have a crab and shrimp sandwich, which was delicious. The salad was amazing homemade ranch dressing. I have no complaints about this place. I would definitely come back again. They have outdoor seating. Indoor was nice too, and quick service.
