My wife and I ate here after many people told us it was great..they were right! We brought a bottle of 2020 Klinker Brick Sangiovese wine to drink with our meal. Our server was attentive without hanging over us, she was great. We started with a caprese salad split between us. It was light, crisp and the sweet basil and balsamic vinaigrette gave it a savory and rich finish, delicious. My wife chose the Ravioli in Marinara sauce and it was creamy, rich and very flavorful.I ordered the pollo Marsala. The chicken was tender and full of flavor, a brown sauce with sautéed mushrooms, a side of steamed and seasoned vegetables, and fluffy mashed potatoes. I enjoyed the crunchy and lightly seasoned vegetables as I was still able to taste them.We finished our meal with the Chocolate firm mousse. This was over the top tasty. Surrounded by fresh whipped cream and strawberries to encompase a perfect combination of semi-sweet decadence!Well done Chef and staff. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

I ordered the Penne Alia Arrabbiata, and my husband ordered the Lasagne Al Forno with the Pane Con Aglio as appetizer for pickup.Unfortunately all dishes were extremely bland. It honestly tasted like a TV dinner, except I've had better TV dinners. The appetizer also had no taste. It was a letdown for us... Won't be returning:(

Had a sudden crave for pasta and this hit the spot! My partner has been wanting to take me here for a while and hyped it up due to its authenticity and consistency for years and all I can say is that he was not wrong lol. Ordered the carbonara, chicken alfredo and garlic bread (to-go) and everything was extremely fresh and made to order! The only downside is that these pastas do NOT reheat well. I never had an issue with reheating pasta leftovers until this place.. the next day, the oil from the sauce and meat completely separate from the pasta resulting in the food sitting in pool of grease that I had to pour out into a bowl. A little off putting but it still tasted great honestly lol. Since I did a to-go order, I'll for sure dine in next time!

This restaurant does have a family vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the clam linguine, hubby ordered fish and chips. I felt my linguine didn't have enough flavor. It was good but not great. I loved hubbys fish and chips more. It had more flavor and the fish was perfect. The fries had a crispy but soft texture, perfection. I tried a friends red pasta dish and it was better than mine. Sorry I just can't remember the name of it.

Recently had the opportunity to dine at Famiglia Italian Restaurant for a birthday party and the food did not disappoint. It was a first time visit and my husband and I were happy to find a solid Italian restaurant in this part of the Bay Area. The establishment is located in a small outdoor shopping/business center. There was ample free parking for patrons shared among the businesses. Parking was not an issue. We tried several things while dining which included the- bruschetta- calamari fritti - fettuccine alfredo with chicken- melanzane alla parmigianaPortions were generous and perfect for all of us with a hearty appetite. Flavor was on point and quality of the food was good. My husband is very picky about his Italian food and he was very satisfied. Overall, a great first experience at Famigilia Italian Restaurant based on food alone. We would definitely return in the future to try more of their menu.

I was craving pizza but we ended up here because they have wood-fired pizza, so I figured why not- it's local and we've never been here. Walked in and there were a few people spread out. The atmosphere is warm but the tables feel very cafe-like. It was all decked out for Christmas and the service was warm and friendly. Settled on a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, a mixed greens salad with gorgonzola and walnuts. The salad was delicious and the pizza was not "Mountain Mikes" ahahahah but I've had better wood fired. The smells from the kitchen were amazing, so next time, I'm definitely ordering a pasta!!!

We came here once about 5 years ago, liked the experience and came back again last month on a Thursday night. Got there at around 6 and it was pretty empty, but by the time we left, the restaurant was full.Initial impressions - like the open layout with a view into the kitchen. The restaurant smelled like cleansing agents though - they need a cleaning schedule further away from dining hours or to switch to something less smelly. For the food, here are the dishes we liked -Carpaccio Cipriani - raw beef, arugula, raw onions, capers, lemon - beautiful presentation - I don't even really like half these ingredients by themselves, but somehow it all worksRavioli Al Formaggio with Marinara - well done comfort foodPeperoni E Funghi pizza - pepperoni and mushrooms - excellent cheese and toppings, crust has decent chewGnocchi Del Giorno with pesto - soft pillowy gnocchi (maybe even a little too soft), but very tastyCrab cakes - these things are a bit on the small side, but packed with crabOther solid fillers -Kids size Chicken AlfredoComplementary bread with oil/red pepper?Calamari Fritti - served with a marinara sauce and a creamy tartar like sauce.Caesar Salad - if I were to swap out a dish from this meal, it would be this one. It's a bit small, underdressed, and just not super exciting.Overall, happy with this family friendly restaurant.

Family friendly restaurant with super friendly staff. Convenient location with plenty of parking. I like the food here. For appetizers, we got crab cake, calamari, and beef carpaccio. I really enjoyed the crab cakes, not a lot of flour and full of crab meat, but very very small... I wish they served two bigger ones rather than 4 tiny ones. Beef carpaccio was delightful, very thinly sliced beef and perfectly seasoned. For entrees. We tried the Caesar salad, pizza, gnocchi with pesto, cheese ravioli, and a kids size pasta Alfredo. You can see in my picture that the kids pasta was smaller than the ravioli plate, very much expected and good size. I like the texture of the pizza, and love that I can watch them put it into the oven because the kitchen is open view. The gnocchi was on the softer side, so we're the pastas. Usually Italian places make them more al dente. Overall a very good dining experience. I liked the appetizers more than the entrees that we ordered.
