OMG! This place is 5 stars! Consistently delicious every single time. !! We drive up from the city once a month for these tacos! Huaraches, gorditas also bomb! Highly recommend. You can also pre order, and pay via Venmo, which is also recommended on weekends as they are usually very busy and take 20 minutes for your order. Great family, who always great and treat their customers with the same love they put into the food they create! Check them out!

I should have read the reviews first I really did not anticipate that this would be literally in someone's backyard, but I truly respect the concept.We ordered 4 Birria tacos without cheese to try it out and a side of consome. It was amazing to watch how the whole family is hustling, receiving orders via phone and maybe even through on line. It was so cool to see a door dasher come pick up food for delivery.The Birria was not as tasty as well as the consome. Maybe it's because we opted out on the cheese. We had El Garage before which is a few minutes away from each other. Preferred el Garage but for some reason they were closed that day.

Estilo Chilanga is literally like going over to your favorite Latina aunt's for tacos and consomme: hearty and homemade. This hole-in-the-wall is run out of a family's backyard, and they take Venmo or CashApp, and they have a hefty Instagram presence. This was my second time having quesabirria tacos and it was good, however, I didn't think the birria was as flavorful. The taco was much more Mozzarella cheese-flavored and lacked the umph that comes from exceptionally tender meat. They also do quesasteak or quesapolla tacos, and they put sour cream in theirs, which I opted out. My sister said the quesasteak taco was more flavorful than the birria.Their consomme however, is the best I've had! Not too salty, but rich and comforting. They also have tendon joints in the stew, which I love! Wish they would switch over to paper cups for the consomme though, as styrofoam is such an environmental and health no-no.Lastly, they may have the best hot sauce I've ever had! It's spicy and smoky.

I read about this place on a website that mentioned two other Richmond Tacos Birria combos. Now, we knew that it was located in a house and honestly, I went in expecting a lot because there were a lot of reviews and it's kind of popular. Since my husband and I have been ordering from a lot of mom and pop places, this was right up our alley.The tacos were good. The sauce was OK, but what elevated it was the addition of crema, cilantro and onions on the tacos. They were fine and I'm glad that I went. I've worked at the school in the area, and like knowing that if I were to be in the area, I could order tacos.The birria tacos were good and we had the soup, but didn't name it. The only gripe I have is that we didn't get napkins with our order. My husband and I went to a park to eat and it was fine, but the soup was a bit messy and we had one spoon, so my husband ate it later. I don't know if I"d make a special trip to get there, but I like the idea that I can order 1 or 2 tacos if I wanted.I wish they had a way to order online, otherwise, we wouldn't have needed to wait around for our food. BTW, this isn't about the area, it's about my preference to not wait around for my food. So being able to order online or call in an order and swoop by to pick it up, is right up my alley.So, good tacos but not worth a special trip, unless I'm working in the area.

I saw this place on Instagram. I placed a pre-order and paid the night prior to pickup. I ordered 8 Quesabirria Tacos. I arrived and there were some people who just placed their orders and some people who placed orders ahead of time like I did. There was some mix up and my order wasn't ready when I got there. They did immediately start making my order. I waited 45 mins (which I wasn't very happy about since I made my order ahead and paid ahead of time). I must say the tacos were very good. Probably the best tacos I've had of any kind. Despite the mix up and upsetting long wait. I'm willing to go again and hopefully the wait was just a mix up. Three stars only due to the bad first impression. Definitely potential for 5 stars if the long wait was just a mistake (it did seem that other people who ordered ahead got their food quickly). I'm willing to accept it as a simple mistake and will be back. Hopefully they can redeem themselves and get 5 stars because the food was great. I'll definitely try the fish tacos next time.

I ordered 10 birria tacos, no cheese. And 2 containers of consume. They asked if I wanted everything other than cheese and I said yes. I should've asked what all that included because it came with sour cream. I do not like sour cream. So that was a killer right off the top. I didn't think the birria had any flavor that really stood out. It was just okay. The consume was the same. But I did like that it was meaty, however the meat was in large chunks like stew meat mating it difficult to maneuver while eating your taco. Maybe some of their other items are more appetizing. But I think I will not return there for the birria.

Placed an order for a Birthday Platter, sent payment via Cash App and I informed them a week prior what time I'd be picking up the order. I arrived to pick up order and no one answered the door. I called and texted business number as well as DMing Instagram page where I made the order. No response. They still haven't issued my refund!!!!

Sent my $100 deposit for a party tray 7/24/21 and never heard back when trying to confirm for pick up. I have called and texted and no response. Please return my deposit. Happy to stop by in person soon!

Found this place on Instagram, safe to say I am now obsessed. I talked my husband into trying it with me and he is similarly in love. I regularly crave the quesabirria tacos. I wake up on the weekends and ask my husband to get some for me. One or two is never enough, I order 5 for myself, with everything!Their Agua frescas are also delicious. You won't be disappointed!

BE CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE!! We reserved taco catering and paid the deposit. They cancelled on us and said they will give our deposit back but never did. Called and spoke to them 4 times within a month and still no deposit back. Finally after confronting them to take legal action that's when they immediately gave our money back.
