Encinal Liquor Grocery & Deli

I generally just pop in for alcohol from time to time. Their prices are reasonable. And the people that run it are super friendly and welcoming. Happy to give them my business.

I will say that this corner store was a popular go to in high school for lunch because they made inexpensive sandwiches, fresh deep-fried eggs rolls, candy and sold sodas. Recently having come back to the store for a sandwich, not much has changed and it holds a nostalgic place in my heart. Having said that, when I did recently go to the store with a list for a quick pick up there wasn't much on my list that I bought; they had 1 out of the 5 things on my list -_-I'm still going to be a strong supporting for their sandwiches because even with inflation, you get a sandwich for less than $6, less than $8 if you get their poorboy sandwich. The sandwiches aren't anything to write home about nor going out of your way to get one but if you get their during their deli hours 11:30ish-(my guess is 2p not exactly sure) these sandwiches might grow on you.

Hours completely wrong. Showed up on my search and walked up to chained doors. Are they even still in business? Does not seem like it!

I always stop by for some soda. They carry Mexican glass bottled sprite and coke which taste so much better than the American coke and that's why I like going here.

This is an inconvenience store.And a bad place to drop my UPS package. Like everyone else said. Closed so much of the time that I can't even figure out when to come get my package.I would have given them zero stars but I gave them one because at least it isn't a gateway to hell. Had it also been a gateway to hell (in addition to being an inconvenience store), I would have given them zero stars.

Encinal Liquor had a "closed" posted in the deli section. the beer section was very limited with nothing priced. few micros . store mostly groceries, chips, sodas, and hard liquor behind the counter.eats: "Dirty chips: sea salt & vingegar (1)-not bad at all.note:-name not posted on window-just a "liquor" sign on hanging awning.

As others have noted, this place is never open!! I want my friggin packages. Not sure why UPS can't just attempt to redeliver...

I am a AHS alumni and always stop by the "corner store" whenever I am in town. When I was a student at AHS, the corner store was THE SPOT. A line would form outside as soon as the lunch bell time ring. Sam and his wife have been making sandwiches and their irresistible Vietnamese egg rolls for over twenty years!! Service is always quick! Not much ambiance, as this is just a neighborhood liquor store. However, till this day, I still crave for their Turkey Breast sandwich with no cheese and ALWAYS leave with a few egg rolls. It is a MUST! Just make sure to go during school hours and get there before AHS lunch bell rings!

Sandwich was hit. Deli was closed but he still made this hoe with no hesitation !!! Also picked up a juice box

I was overcharged and scammed because I used my EBT card. A regular sandwich cost $4.50 and a drink was $1.25. The store owner charged me $8.50. I soon realized after I was scammed. Don't come here if you want to use your EBT benefits because they will take advantage of you.
