Elite Catering Bay Area

I can not say enough good things about our experience working with Elite Catering for our 180 person, 7 a.m. fundraiser breakfast event at the San Leandro Senior Community Center. We requested a savory bread pudding which they were happy to accommodate (other caterer's we asked would not.) The delivery of tableware, linens etc the night before was already organized in groups of 10 for each table which made set-up easy-peasy! There was a terrible storm that caused a power outage which effected delivery but they bent over backwards to fulfill the contract. And despite the electrical issue, everything was DELICIOUS.We will definitely be using Elite Catering again!

My friend's mom recently died and because of a large number of friends and family (her mom was number four out of eleven kids) she needed a place that could accommodate between 200 to 500 people for the funeral reception. What made it even harder is she had no idea how many people would show up. We had the event right next to Skywest Restaurant behind Hayward Airport next to the golf course in a building that had screen walls. This made it convenient to raise the walls in case more than 240 people showed up at the location. Mercy and her crew made the entire event very easy on everyone involved. The prices were reasonable, the food was decent (not like we ordered the most expensive and delicious things on the menu) and the catering went flawlessly. I can't say enough good things about how Elite Catering was professional and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend them!

Elite catering (and, Mercy, in particular) catered my wedding party in March of 2014. Wow! They did an amazing job!!! I am so happy I chose them over other companies. Mercy was diligent, receptive, fun, encouraging, supportive, and innovative. My guests were pleased with the quality of food and service, the amount of food, decorations, and uniqueness of food choices. Highly recommended! Mercy and her team relieved so much stress of my and made our celebration special and seemingly effortless.

We just had a great birthday party catered by the whole crew oe Elite Catering. Their staff has overdelivered everything that we have asked for. I will not hesitate to come back or recommend their services to anyone who is looking for a great event and food.

Mercy and her crew catered a birthday party for my mom at Skywest. It was great! The food was very good and plentiful and Mercy could not have made the planning any easier than she did. The service was great and the venue was really pretty and comfortable. All of the guests were very pleased. I will definitely use them again for other parties.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!! I decided on Elite catering for my graduation and RN licensure celebratory dinner. Mercy and her crew were attentive, reliable, and beyond friendly. They ensured my dinner was everything I imagined it would be. Mercy was excellent when it came to communication and returning my calls in a prompt manner. The servers and bartender were just as wonderful as Mercy; the customer service was impeccable. The food- everyone loved it! They used quality ingredients and made more than enough food for my 50 guests. I never had to worry about running out of food, which was comforting. Prices were very reasonable and venue was impressive. Oh, and the buffet table they set up was beautiful! I'll definitely use Elite Catering in the future.

If I could give 10 stars I would Mercy helped to make the Bridal Shower I hosted on 12-1-12 AMAZING. Her and her staff were awesome! The food was great, chicken skewers and calamari are a must try , heck the stuffed mushrooms (sausage),salad, and fruit platter were great too :)). The fact that everything was prepared beautifully, deliciously, and on time will always keep a smile on the consumers face and keep Elite as the first option when event planning, we'll be back. Side note: the Ladies raved about the Lemon Drops purchased at the bar!

We recently contracted Elite Catering to take care of our wedding in Oakland, and 5 Stars isn't enough to compliment the job this company did to make our special day a memorable one. All the staff were more than willing to go above and beyond to personalize the dishes we requested, and gave us multiple opportunities to taste our requested foods to ensure that they were exactly to our liking. The communication between the owners and us was clear, and occurred often enough so that we were never left out of the loop.Most importantly, the food was delicious, and all of our guests left the wedding satisfied, full, and talking about the professionalism of the meal. We opted for a buffet style meal, and the aesthetics of what Elite Catering put together to highlight our food was an added bonus that put the meal over the top. In particular, our guests talked about the risotto balls, mushrooms, and lamb all night. The personal nature of the owners, their customer first approach, and kindness in working with you are all deserving of these 5 stars. I can't recommend this locally owned business enough, so please check them out and strongly consider them for your next function/wedding!

I had emailed them for a call back for a wedding reception to be held in my in my home. I never got anything. That was over a week ago. I was going to send again, but questioned whether I should trust them with such a special event after seeing they way they handled my initial request. I have chosen another catering company who has faster response times. I never got the chance to experience any of the wonderful reviews for their food and services.

Celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and were very impressed with their exceptional service. The venue was held at Skywest restaurant and it was perfect for the 110 people we had for the party. using the indoor restaurant and the outdoor patio for about 30 people. Mercy (the event coordinator ) & her staff were professional ensuring that everything worked smoothly - we had 3 course dinner meal and dancing. They were able to break down the table & chairs to make room for dancing in a matter of 5-10 minutes. The food was delicious - our guests commented how moist the herb crusted pork loin with mango chutney and the Cordon bleu chicken with the pesto sauce & vegetarian Portabella mushroom dish were delicious.Mercy & staff went above & beyond and had surprised us with small bouquet of flowers on mason jars for each table. She responds quickly to emails & very accommodating for any requests and changes. I highly recommend them and will use them again for any future events.
