Elevation 66 Brewing Co

We used to frequent E66 pre-pandemic. The food was superb and the beer delicious. Then the pandemic. Our habits changed and we haven't been back for (probably) years. This afternoon we dropped in on a whim. Stephen greeted us from the bar - so friendly and welcoming! He was attentive but not overbearing and his recommendations were spot on. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich and I ordered fish tacos. Both were delicious! The ambiance was chill - music from late 70s and 80s was enjoyable. We will definitely be back! It's so nice to have a local EC hangout with amazing food and beer *and* pleasant folks like Stephen. We are so fortunate!!

My husband and I found this place when we were out this way we looked up places to eat! We came across this one and it sounded like it may be just want we were looking for. It's a small-ish place with a single waiter and what seemed like a single chef in the back. We ordered the burger, onion rings and chicken sandwich. All were pretty mediocre and to be honest we wished we just would have gotten wings. The burger didn't have much in the way of seasoning and neither did the chicken sandwich. Unfortunately the onion rings tasted like batter and when I asked for ranch they just dumped what tasted like great value ranch into a plastic cup. We were not at all impressed. I ordered a Coke and the server brought out a can of coke and a cup of ice. Very disappointing but I guess my expectations were a little too high for a brew company. The place was really quiet for it to be a bar type setting with a few what seemed like local guys there to be on their computers (maybe working- not sure) or drinking a beer silently watching the game that was on. Truth be told we won't be back.

Only giving 2 stars because the service was nice. Macaroni and cheese was not good at all. No flavor whatsoever. The dish was also cold. Brussels sprouts looked burnt and has way too much chili in them also cold. The wings were warm and eatable but completely bland.I do not recommend at all. The only reason I didn't take the food back is because I am visiting from out of town and don't have my own car to drive back.

Really relaxed taproom with friendly service from the bar. The food menu is surprising with bleu cheese and balsamic reduction in multiple dishes. The onion rings with BBQ sauce is a go-to every time we come here. Limited draft selection since it is a small place, but it ranges from light to hoppy to dark, plus a couple of guest drafts and cider on tap. There's a couple TVs so you can watch sports while you're here

Billy Ray greeted me right away. And after looking at the menu I know I'm gonna come back more prepared next time period I can't believe it has been so long since my last review but now I remember why I liked it here so much. I just took a new look at the menu that they have which I'm posting with this and it looks delicious I want to try the cubano and the Rubin sandwich H you. I am chopping at the bed for it. And the fries that came by looked delicious and crispy outside with creamy insides I'm ready.Growlers and their own beer is offered for take out and the kitchen does serve up quite a array of food. There's not a lot of seating outside but there's plenty inside.I tasted the ramble tample red, The East Bay IPA, and the 2 Rivers Yusu Cider. All delish. I settled down with the BaysidedIPA. From what I could see on draft they had 7 ales and one cider. Sadly I have to cut myself off after one beer because I'm driving.Great access, lots of tables, handicap friendly, and welcoming welcoming staff. Parking can be a little tight so you have to keep your eye open as you get close and they're just past the theater on the right. Don't blink you might miss the sign.I said I'd return I did. But next time I'm gonna return much sooner bring my wife as I promised in the last review and have those sandwiches.

Great food and fantastic beer made in house. Also great selection of local handmade beers.

Lovely place to hang out with friends. Great beer and lovely food. We shared:- burger- Ruben sando- Cuban sando- crab cakesWe paired our meals with different sides too. Food was lovely. Service was friendly and warm. Can't think of a better reason to come back. Lovely time in El Cerrito.

The food was a 4. I ordered fish & chips, and Honey Spicy wings. The fish was a 2. The batter to fish ratio was off because the batter was thick. It did arrive with crispy ends, but the batter across most of the fish was softer (not mushy just softer) than the ends. It was also visually oily when handling so much so that I could see the oil secrete from the batter. There wasn't much ventilation in the container so there was some condensation insider the container. The batter had a mild flavor, but was complimented by the well seasoned fries. The fries, again, were well seasoned and cooked somewhat to my liking. The condensation in the container may have soften them a bit. They were definitely the best part of the fish & chip duo: a solid 3.5. I wouldn't order the fish again, but I'd definitely include the fries as the side of another dish. The chicken was the best part of my entire order. Again, the container was poorly ventilated resulting in some condensation and softening of the skin. The flavor was fantastic. I will definitely order this 4 star chicken again.This restaurant is definitely worth trying. If not for the fish and packaging, I'd be able to give a higher star value.

The brewery was very clean and we loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. I came to meet my friend who I hadn't seen all summer. The service was excellent. We loved our food and had a great time. Give this small business some love.

downhill... I have been here a number of times over the years,both before and after covid. It was a lot more lively in the past, now it just seems lackluster. I walked in an considered just leaving, was told I could sit anywhere. I had looked at the menu in the window so I knew what I wanted, just placed my order. I looked over and saw the floor beneath the next table had not been swept in a long time. Dust and bit of old food were scattered across the basement area. I just was like, "Oh. I shouldn't have come in". But my order was already in.Anyway, my food came, it was a cheeseburger, fries and one non-alcoholic beverage. The total was over $30. The cheeseburger has no condiments on it. (Later I saw that they have bottles of mustard on the kitchen counter) When the server picked up my order, I witnessed an exchange between her and one of the men in back. It looked like they were disputing something, and at the end he just shook his head and smirked, then threw a towel over one shoulder and walked off I had requested the fries with no seasoning, just salt. They came covered in red dust. As the server put down the plate, she said the kitchen tells me that is just salt, and then walked away. Like....? It was extremely annoying to me that this restaurant is charging $6.50 for fries and cant manage a simple request. I tried to eat around it and just gave up after a couple tries.I ate the burger and then sat there thinking about the choices I made in life, that had led to this bad lunch. As she came to clear the plate, she said how was everything. I said I didnt like the fries. And she said "did you want another side instead?" I pointed out that the meal was over. I had been there for probably a half hour at this point. The whole experience was just not good, vibe sucked, food sucked, hygiene sucked, and I would never recommend or visit this place in the future.
