Friendly place. Picked up a Too Good to Go order. They made it when I arrived and was quick with the service, even though I was expecting a different experience. Very saucy pizza with only a few slices of pepperoni. Not bad for Too Good to Go but wouldn't order it otherwise. Another customer got some pozole that looked great when I was sitting there. I would be interested in trying their menu fair.

El Taco Oaxaco is the kind of place that makes you feel like family the moment you step inside. Sure, the tacos may not be the most gourmet or mind-blowing you'll ever have, but what they might lack in culinary flair, they more than make up for with warmth, friendliness, and that irreplaceable homey vibe. The tacos are good--solid, mid-range bites that satisfy without pretension. They're the kind of tacos you know were made with care, and sometimes, that's what really counts. The pollo tacos, while simple, are hearty and packed with fresh cilantro and onions. They're the definition of comfort food. The horchata is refreshing, just the right amount of sweet, and pairs perfectly with the meal. But what keeps me coming back isn't just the food; it's the people. The staff here are incredibly nice, always welcoming with a smile, and they make you feel like you're not just another customer, but a guest in their home. The vibe is unmistakably family-oriented, and you can tell that they take pride in their work and the community they're serving. If you're looking for a place with authentic, unpretentious tacos and a sense of belonging that's hard to find, El Taco Oaxaco is definitely worth a visit. It's not just about the food--it's about supporting a local gem that's all heart.

Stopped by to pick up a Too Good To Go pizza and ended up staying to try a burrito and tacos. I wasn't sure what I wanted so I ordered two carne asada tacos and my boyfriend ordered an al pastor burrito. Both were sooo good! Tacos came with a nopal (cactus) that our baby enjoyed too, lol. The owner (?) was super friendly and gave us a complimentary carnitas taco that has us both still day dreaming about it days later!! She also gave us some nuggets for baby which was extremely generous of her, the portions are good and the food is definitely quality. We are planning on going back regularly because both their great service and delicious food.

The al pastor and extra crispy tripas tacos were amazingly delicious. My friend raves about their shrimp burrito with refried beans and now I know why. Don't forget to ask for the avocado salsa!PSA: they're located at Diesel/Kennedy st!

I had 2 tacos as a quick late lunch from this taco truck on Kennedy. The tripas were very tasty and creamy; I'll get this again. Unfortunately, I found the sliced cabeza dry and flavorless . . . Too bad. Food was presented quickly; parking was easy; I'll be back.

This place has personal sized pizza for Too Good To Go, and it is pretty good pizza. It is not fancy pizza but good enough and size for the price. The restaurant is clean and the service was fast.

I went there because it was advertised on the Too Good To Go app. Big mistake, they don't need to be on that app. I really believe it is false advertising just to sell the worst pizza in Oakland. Ca. The box looked like it came off of the internet along with the dust! I took one bite of the pizza and knew I had been scammed! I thought I was getting leftover homemade food! Instead I got a pizza with a terrible after taste! Straight out of Wally World. All that food they had and I fell for the okie doke. I gave slices to the homeless people on the next street over! They can keep that $6.60 I should have told the guy ugh, "I don't want this" never ever again. They need to be banned from the app, because the pizza doesn't look like the pics on the TooGoodToGo app.
