El Sobrante Farmers Market is the place to o be at on Sunday Morning. I just love how they used Sobrante Ave space to have vendors along the street. Plenty of vendors at this Farmers Markets. When I attended this market there were an equal amount of produce vendors. The other vendors at this market were information desk, take out food, and other information concerning farmers and how produce were being grown. My second time attending the El Sobrante Farmers Market and I was able to find parking closer to the market. You are able to park where the shopping center is located at. I do prefer parking on the street that is closer to the market. I enjoy walking around the market. A great exercise walking around as long you don't end up eating food.

It's small, but it's still a work in progress. It's a good representation of the area as far as size and number of vendors. It will only succeed and grow with the support of the community! That said, it's welcoming for children and families. I brought my kids and we hung around for about half an hour. Parking is easy, and you likely can find something to walk away with. Vendors and clientele are warm and welcoming. I look forward to seeing the growth of this farmer's market for the sake of us locals.

I saw a documentary on bread and because the company was local, I chose to look them up. Not for me, but for the hubs. I saw that they sell their bread at this market that I'd never heard of, so I wanted to go. And boy am I glad that I did. The only other Sunday Market is in Oakland and it opens and closes early. What I love about this market is that they are open from 12 pm to 4 pm. It's small but mighty. The vendors were really nice and they had produce, coffee, mushrooms, the bread, plants, jewelry and more. I saw something called a shed and signed up for some classes. It's not as big as some of the other markets but they have the basics. The coffee could use some work, but I hear they have a mean chai so I may get one. But, I felt very welcome from the vendors and look forward to buying more goods from local folks at that market.

I was excited to see a flyer for the Farmers Market on El Sobrante, especially since it's on Sundays. I usually visit the one in Pinole, which is only on Saturdays, so I was happy to find another nearby. My husband and I went, but we were disappointed. Parking was nearly impossible to find, and there were only a few vendors. Unfortunately, we couldn't even shop because of the parking issue. It's great for the neighborhood, especially for those who can walk, and I love supporting farmers markets. But for me, the lack of parking made it difficult.

Finally, El Sobrante has its own farmers market! This market brings so much to our community. We didn't have any access to organic produce in El Sobrante prior to the market opening, which is such a shame given how many people in this community care about sustainable farming and community wellness. The market accepts EBT, offers live music, and creates a welcoming space for all. I'm especially excited to know that the market doesn't charge any stall fees for its vendors, and creates space for women and POC-owned food and farming business, many of whom don't yet vend at any other farmers market. This market is helping to support a whole network of local, organic, small farmers and food vendors. Thank you!
