Amazing tacos! They opened up a spot in Hayward located in same plaza as Foodmaxx off Hesperian. There was a small line when we arrived on a Friday evening after 7pm. We ordered 3 tacos (2 carne asada, 1 chicken), vampiro with al pastro, and carne asada burrito. A horchata as well. Total came out to $34, which is a good price with all the food we received. The setup is a food truck but with glass windows blocking customers from the workers. It seems a lot more hygenic than other taco trucks and a more well oiled machine. You hand your ticket to the workers at the truck and they work on getting your orders. There's a table with salsas, to-go cups, and other fixings (e.g. limes, cucumbers, onions, etc). We got our food around 10 minutes. They have the pastor on stick with pineapple on top, beef grilling on a grill, and handmade tortillas. What truly makes this place stand out is their flavorful carne asada and the homemade tacos. They're Tijuana style so a bit of guac is added on top. So freaken delicious! The tacos were $3.50 each and I was full after 3. The vampiro are two crunchy tortillas with cheese and fixings of a taco. The burrito was delicious as well, a little smaller than the other spot we had, but you can get a monster one for $20 (which is enough to feed 2 ppl). Overall delicious tacos and flavorful carne asada, would totally come back soon!

(5 out of 5)One of the best taco trucks/pop ups in the Bay Area! I got the burrito and my fiancé got the quesadilla, everyone who sees this that isn't just getting tacos. Get the dang quesadilla. It was amazing. With crispy cheese, to the amazing greasy pastor. It was a 10/10 nice albiamve with lots of seating. A little parking lot. And a self serve salads bar. If you're trying out new taco spots. Make this one of them!!! Service also was good. When you come tell them Rothyy sent you!

Whenever we visit family in San Leandro, tacos are a must. We've tried several spots around Oakland, but we're drawn to this one on a 102degree day because of its agua Fresca and shaded dining area.Service was very quick and tacos were loaded with meat and delicious. We had asada, lingua, pollo, birria (only available on weekends), and chorizo. They have a 4-choice serve yourself sauce bar, which is always a plus (and they had a kick!)Overall, had an authentic TJ vibe. Location is a bit in the sticks, like most good food spots so choose your street parking wisely and don't leave valuables in your car.

Good food 2 stars due to little amount of toppings on the burritos they sprinkled the sour cream the don't come with guacamole they due stuff with cilantro and onion loved that but the super burrito was skinny long but skinny barely any meat and they don't come with red salsa they come with green salsa and the tacos are really good that they didn't mess up the quesadilla didn't come with sour cream or guacamole barely any cheese too wonder if it's due to there speed through the customers and something gotta get screwed hover even though you pay a Betty good penny to eat I will probably visit before rush hour next time hopefully I get treated better

Living in Oakland, there is definitely plenty of taco spots to try. We finally go to try this place for TJ style tacos. Previous Tacos Mi Reynita was located across the street so now there's less competition for this corner. They are located in a parking lot of what looks like an condemned commercial building. Parking is either on the street or what you can find in the small alcove. When you arrive you can smell the amazing meats. It's great they appears to have handmade tortillas. We tried the al pastor, tongue and cabeza tacos with pineapple aqua fresca. There's dining tables to enjoy, which is what we wanted to enjoy the tacos freshly made. There's a self serve salsa bar along with grilled onions and jalapenos - these simple offerings are so hard to come by these days. Their salsas are fire! So tasty! Overall the tacos were delicious for TJ style tacos. $2 extra for tongue is quite high but I really can't complain with inflation these days. We'll definitely be back. They accept zelle as payment.

Food is definitely worth the price. My go to as it's in my neighborhood. Great service. The lady that takes your order is really nice. I always order tacos. Steak is my favorite. Their drinks are good too.

I was excited to try this place, but was honestly really disappointed by the quality of food. The parking lot was basically empty, so that should've been the first sign.We ordered an al pastor burrito ($12) & carne asada quesadilla ($12). We asked for pineapple with the al pastor, but it was no where to be found. The al pastor meat was also extremely fatty with chunks of skin, like they used pork belly. It was really unappetizing getting chunks of fat and rubbery skin with every bite. The quesadilla had more onions than it had cheese/meat. It barely had any cheese and was extremely overcooked and dry.

Ordered 3 tacos today and was wondering why my bag felt so light. $3.50 for a taco and you can basically be done with it in a bite? Ridiculous. Seems like they're just money hungry and use smaller tortillas now for more profit. What a robbery. I live down the street and will not be coming back. $3.50 POR UN TACO Y ESTO ES LO QUE TE DAN. ESTO ES ROBO. PARECE QUE NOMAS ESTAN PREOCUPADOS POR GANAR DINERO Y SE LES OLVIDA LA CALIDAD. POR LO MENOS USEN UNA TORTILLA MAS GRANDE NO SEAN TACAÑOS! NO REGRESARE.
