El Agave Azul

Food = Excellent Drinks = Excellent Service = Excellent I would recommend this restaurant to everyone that has a craving for a good Mexican meal. The Ambience is perfect for a first date or a family meal.

I called my order in for 5 pm on Valentine's Day, they miss heard and placed it for 6pm.After arriving to pickup and then reorder (because they thought it was for 6) I waited.Then my order was incorrect, they added extra rice for no reason so I had to return again.1 hour after my original pickup time I'm eating cold food and my wife's gone to bed and over it. This was a bad experience. They comped two jaritos but I'd rather have had a correct order. 1 star

El Agave Azul restaurant is quite awesome from it's chips and salsa to it's efficient and very friendly waitstaff. I've been eating here since before the Pandemic, and the service and food quality has remained the same. I don't eat seafood, so I have no opinions on it, but what I've seen, it looks very good. I stick to dishes like their Molcajete! Beef, Chicken, Chorizo, Cheese, Shrimp (I give these to my friends) and Cactus all stewed in a great tomato salsa. It's soooo good. Our wait person, Alejandra (Alex) was awesome and friendly, and fell in love with my photo buddy Guilala (a little Japanese monster figure). Their restaurant has 4 Sections: Main Restaurant Floor, a Large Bar area, a room for larger parties and gatherings, and a great, large Patio. If you're in the area, you should really check out El Agave Azul. You'll want to return!

Great place to come with friends for a fun and lively atmosphere. The bar offers table seating, making it perfect for groups to enjoy food and drinks together. The staff is super friendly and attentive. One of the highlights is their impressive selection of tequila for straight shots. We also love the chips, salsa, guacamole, and nachos which are always fresh and the perfect way to start the meal. Whether you're here for drinks, dinner, or just to hang out, it's a spot that guarantees a great time.

We've driven by countless times and we never thought about eating at El Agave Azul Mexican Restaurant. Then I had a craving for a margarita!We discovered a colorful, clean and friendly neighborhood place. The menu is large and full of Mexican dishes, both popular standards and specialties.Our server was great and helped us with the menu. I over-ordered a huge Chicken Tortilla Soup and a full plate of Carnitas, pork with grilled cactus. It was so delicious, even the cactus. No prickly needles here. The portions were generous and I had to take a doggy bag home.My dad liked his tacos and my sister enjoyed her Chicken Enchiladas with green sauce. Probably the best tasting Mexican we've had in some time.My "most popular" Cadillac Margarita came in a huge goblet with an upside down bottle of Gran Manier. Potent and delicious. There was no doggy bag for this one.We will definitely return to try more menu items. They also have a food truck that was open outside for quick takeout orders.

I was in the area and decided to try a restaurant new to me. I appreciated the fact the area outside was well lit clean and inviting along with a food truck parked in front for those that need quick on the go service. When I walked in I was greater by amazing aromas of food and very clean establishment. I asked to sit at the bar and I was helped immediately. I ordered the Chimichanga appetizer and a Paloma. Both were excellent! The mango chutney they have is so delicious I was pleasantly surprised. They have a fully stocked bar with any tequila you can imagine. I enjoyed my visit very much so and I wil definitely be coming back

Foods great reminds me of a Chevys feel with the fajita plates, their hard shell chicken tacos are great, and their drink selection varies but they do have good choices. The only problem would probably be the service. Took them a while to get my drink orders, and once I got them did not get asked for refills or if I needed utensils or extra napkins. It wasn't a busy night either. Other than that the food is great to have.

"Where is the salsa? No salsa?"-Seinfeldda Scene: craving Mexican food, don't know know why... been wanting to try the new "Gonzales" for awhile now and took my girls. GOOD CALL! 10 min. ride from home and we pull into a spacious and clean parking lot, just next to the old H.Salt Fish & Chips. There's a big tent for outdoor seating and a food truck out front. Big space, lots of tables to choose from and several TV to watch sports events. Huge menu, not sure what to try, but we got deep!da Grub: Pretty hungry and probably over ordered for 3 people, but oh well! Started with guacamole to go with the chips & salsa, an order of the tinga tostaditos, a Cadillac margarita and Mojito. Super fresh guacamole, killed it before the drinks came... the mojito was good, but the Cadillac Margarita was FIRE, next time a pitcher, cause I ended up ordering a 2nd one! The Tostaditas de Tinga were savory perfection - tender shredded chicken breast in a flavorful red sauce on mini tostadas with lettuce and crumbled cheese. For mains the girls went with Birria Taco plate (tasty) and Pozole (winner! chock full of pork & hominy) and I got the Chile Verde plato, tender and slightly spicy. All-around really great fare, can't wait to try more of the menu.da Service: Servers and hosts were great, seated and apps arrived quickly, followed by the drinks and grubs soon after. Not busy on a Tuesday night, so the service was quite attentive.If you are looking for a spacious spot, easy parking, full bar and deep menu... this is your spot!

I love coming here with my husband. We always get margaritas and share appetizers that are so good. My favorite are the chicken wings and green aguachiles. Staff is super nice and friendly

Everything about this restaurant is great...daily happy hour, weekday specials, parking, staff, menu options, margaritas, tortilla soup, prices, and free chips and salsa. I love coming to El Agave Azul!
