Easy liquor has just had a change of owner, Sam the new owner is always looking quite dapper, he and his sons have really turned this store around they have a massive inventory. Not every thing has a price on it but who needs a price tag when everything in the store is negotiable. The store looks great and despite being in a sketch location it's convenient And the Sam's crew goes out of their way to keep their customers safe.

Easy Liquor is your typical corner liquor store that is located near the border of West and North Oakland. Its my local liquor store, its cool to grab a lotto ticket, hot cheetos, or a silver bullet (Coors light, I'm not packing).Truthfully I come here more often for tortilla chips than anything else, and have only ever bought actual liquor here. I do like that it's always clean, well stocked, and they have new refrigerators with plenty of drinks. They have a great spread of non alcoholic drinks, juices, beer and wine. They also carry It's It ice cream sandwiches, so they deserve 4 stars for sure!

Easy Liquor is at corner of McArthur Blvd & Market St. store is very narrow and lengthy. didn't see much groceries, just 2 walls worth, no center aisle. one end has brews. other end has snacks.parking spaces in front, some spaces blocked by single car parked paralled instead of diagonally.brew: negra medelo (3.5) 24 oz.-not a single brew priced.-no 22oz. micros seen, just 6 packs.-still cheaper than drinking in a baron draught:-doubtful repeat,-sketchy spot nearby gentrified areas.

Great hours. Easy location. Basic decades-old, corner store. The owners are really friendly and unexpectedly attentive to the menagerie of customers who come through the door. I love this neighborhood for its convenient location - its close to everything. But when I don't want to drive the 1/2 mile to Safeway for a last minute item, I just send my son to this even more convenient corner store. He returns with perfect tomatoes, yellow (not brown) bananas, red onions, baking soda and powder that are not out-of-date!To be completely honest, my love for this store may be somewhat colored by the fat that i was asked to show ID the first time I bought alcohol here. I am 40, but hey, when you've got it... I hope they never get gentrified.

Horrible service, there was a very disrespectful cashier at the register and there was food all over the floor when I came in. There was a child getting yelled at the entire time I was there. The cashier got my price wrong 4 times in a row and had to get the manager than he didn't even give me my receipt I truly would never come back here as I also felt unsafe around the manager who was looking at me with a rude glare.
