Great place for breakfast. We went on a Sunday morning, so it was very busy. Kinda crowded by the entrance but not bad once you got inside. We put our names down for a party of 3 and prob took about 20 minutes to be seated. All the staff was super busy.The place looks like a favorite that's been around a long time, for good reason. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. My Doug's Omelette was way enough for this meal and the next. The hash browns were particularly good - they were super crispy, as they should be. My toast could've used more butter (I think they'd buttered it) so I asked for some. They gave me some hard butter - prob better if it was the spreadable kind in a pkg. But all was good. Enjoyable breakfast!

(4 out of 5)Ever since Dell cafe closed this has been my go to spot, I always get the Hayward omelette and replace the tomato for bacon, I get the hack browns we'll fine with onion on top, order this for a nice savory breakfast and you won't be disappointed! Service is always good and it has a nice family feel when eating here! I know they have a lot of very cool looking sweet breakfasts as well, but I'm more of a savory person! When you come tell them Rothyy sent you!

My wife and I have come to Doug's place since we moved to the area and each time we had a pleasant experience. So far we've tried some their omelets, classic breakst and pancakes. The portions are big and sometimes you can share with someone else. Their specialty is o omelets so they have some great choices. I enjoy their classic breakfast and it comes with a delicious hashbrown and a lot of bacon. Service is also excellent. Fast and always friendly. Restaurant is was busy during our visit, but we were seated pretty quick since they have a lot of tables. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also pretty chill and old school. All in all, if you are craving some good breakfast at a good price and good portion and good options Doug's place is the place.

Getting a table is quite confusing. There is a paper waiting list but you wait in line to be seated. No one explained or said anything so other people were confused as well. We did have great service ordering our food and the food came out fast. The food was fine. However, when they brought out my husband's food they dropped one of his pieces of toast on the table and the guy just said sorry and left. They never replaced the toast especially since they just wipe down the tables with a wet cloth. Overall, the experience was okay. It is a popular place since it was packed but I don't think I will be returning.

It's a okay place to have breakfast/brunch, I got a omelette filled with Chorizo with a side of southern potatoes and bread you have a choice of what type of potato and bread you'd like, I enjoyed my food, I will say if you choose to get the Southern style potatoes you will get FULL on just them alone. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice but it's kind of really dark in certain areas, the walls are full of photos of vintage photos of celebrities. The Service was normal. I went on a Monday and it was pretty packed but the wait wasn't too long.

I hadnt been to Doug's Place in a while and it was interesting to see some changes to the restaurant and menu. There were some added menu items that I specifically wanted to try. The strawberry and mazapan pancake was my favorite! The concha french toast is good but on the sweeter side. The waiters are very nice and there is little wait time. There is plenty of seating inside and parking in the shopping center.

I normally love Doug's Place, especially the bacon and home fries. So much so I brought two friends today. Two of us ordered waffles. They were so cold the butter didn't melt. I asked for a new waffle that was hot. The butter still didn't melt on the second one. They are very busy on weekends. I noticed the food sitting in the window for long periods of time. They'll need to come up with a better system for getting the food out hot. Even with a reorder the waffle didn't come out hot. Very disappointing.
