Donworth Event Center

Donworth Event Center was perfect for my baby shower to accommodate the amount of guests I had. The space is pretty big with its own fully accessible kitchen, bar/refreshments area, storage/quiet room, bathrooms, stage and dance floor. Shay was amazing from giving my partner and I the initial tour of the hall to answering any questions we had and getting our event booked. She sent a layout of how the tables would look a week prior to my event so I knew exactly how my set up was going to be. On the day of the event, Anibal, the facility coordinator, was very nice and helpful. If we needed anything he was there to assist. Donworth event center will definitely be our go to hall for any future events if needed! Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of the venue on the day of my event as I was so busy with other things but it all turned out really nice! Thank you for everything and Happy Holidays!

Donworth Hall was where I had my babyshower last weekend. Shay was very helpful, friendly and accommodating! She helped to explain every single detail so that there weren't any surprises or catches. We hosted no more than 200 guests and many of them commented on how clean and spacious the venue was. The parking was also a non issue which as we all know is a nightmare in San Francisco.Thanks again, Shay for helping us plan and organize the event! I had a very successful babyshower! I couldn't be any happier!

Donworth Hall was the perfect venue for my son's baptism and 1st birthday party. The facility is spacious, has a full kitchen, a bar area, restrooms, and A/V system. We were able to stage twelve 60" tables with seats, 3 buffet tables, and large soft-play area comfortably with extra space in front of the stage for games and activities. Working with Shay is super easy and she's very responsive to questions or requests. I highly recommend booking Donworth Hall for your next event.

Loved working with Shay to make a graduation party come true! We had a last-minute party to throw and Shay let us know that our day was available and worked with us to make everything run smoothly! Our event went perfectly. I will definitely work with Donworth Events again

This is probably my best salon for any special event, because since when I sing in my contract Omed the owner he's very helpful and friendly gentleman, we have 120 guesses and we put 10 rounds tables and it was perfect for the space he's providing tables and chairs , kitchen and 2 bathrooms and very parking spot convenient, We love that place and I'll we renting again if a need it ! Thank you omed our family and friends they brry happy .

I'm the chair of the annual fundraising auction at my daughter's elementary school and we have used Donworth Event Center for 2 years now, going on 3 this school year. They have been nothing but helpful and accommodating each time. It's a great space with excellent kitchen and bar accommodations and they are very reasonable with their rules and rates. A good number of tables and chairs are at the venue already so you don't need to schlep your own over, or at least, not as many. Ample outlets to plug in lighting around the room, and there is usable and straightforward A/V equipment at the venue. Clean bathrooms, well maintained facility. It's conveniently located for us and parking is easy. The event coordinator is just the best. Can't say enough good things about holding your event here!

My husband and I booked Donworth for our baby shower in early January. The event center is large, clean, organized, and cared for. They also have a commercial kitchen for us/caterers to use which was our plan B since there was a chance of rain and we didn't want the taco vendor and our guests to be drenched when going out to the patio to get food. Shay was our day of coordinator as well as the Facility Manager. She is an absolute gem - very responsive, thorough, organized, and knowledgeable. This event was by far the easiest and least stressful when it came to planning because of Shay. Everything went according to plan and we would book again for any medium - large events.

We held my son's baptism reception here and the venue is fantastic. Shay, the event coordinator Director is detail-oriented, reliable, responsive and makes it all happen. The experience of setting up our event here was wonderfully smooth and we had fun planning out our decoration in the large space and transforming it into a Filipino Fiesta theme. Shay gave us lots of great ideas as well as past posts from last events. We would love to continue holding future events in such a great space here! Pictures to come!

My experience at the Donworth Event Center was excellent. I must give the credit to Shay Inglefinger, Event & Marketing Director, as she was the one who made it happen. She worked very close with me and made sure I was very clear about the contract. We went over it thoroughly and initialed it on the night of the event, acknowledging that I understood my responsibilities as the renter. There was a security guard assigned to the event who was also very helpful and very accommodating. The event hall and other areas such as bathrooms, bar area, kitchen and other spaces were very clean. We appreciated that and focused on leaving it in a like manner. We also had a D.J. and the stage was set up very well for his people. We were given a special entrance temporarily to use for the Caterers, D.J. and Bartender as they had to load and unload their paraphernalia, i.e., food, musical equipment, liquor to stock the bar, decorations, etc. It worked out perfect for them. Plenty of parking available so that was not a problem. My guests were very appreciative and have talked about renting the hall for other events and some church functions. Thank you, Shay, for assisting me in the renting of the Donworth Event Center.

I used to volunteer at St. Stephen and was able to get a great deal for Donworth Hall. Shay was great at giving me a chance to book the hall.Shay is professional and very helpful. She made it easy for us to book the hall even if we don't live in San Francisco anymore. We booked the hall on July 27 for the Southern Pacific Historical and Technical Society. The hall was big enough for us to be able to have vendor tables and a place for speakers. This location has a lot of parking and like I always say, if you can't find parking there, you are totally blind. You have the whole Stonestown Mall to park in. The hall is very bright and the facilities are wonderful. We used the little coffee bar to sell donuts and coffee. We probably had close to 80 model railroaders attending the mini meet. All the attendees were really happy that we were obtain this facility and most of all that they were able to park in the parking lot. After the venue, some of the attendees were able to walk to the Muni Metro to go to the Embarcadero Station. There they went to see the SP building and then came back to the parking lot to pick their cars up.On behalf of the SPH&TS we want to thank Shay for facilitating this and making it possible to have mini meet in San Francisco for the first time in many years. We also want to thank our former pastor Fr. Tony LaTorre for allowing this to happen.
