Don Polvoron Bakery

We get our cakes from Don Polvoron and they're always sooo good. We usually get their tres leches but have also gotten chocolate. Our guests always comment about how much they love the cake. The bakers also do a great job matching the cake decorations to the photos we share with them. Highly recommend.

I dropped by Don Polvoron Bakery because of the positive Yelp reviews and Instagram rave review. The bakery smells wonderful! I ordered one Concha. It was so fresh, so delicious. I regret I did not order more pan dulce. The behind the counter service was very friendly. I am looking forward to my next visit. I definitely will leave with more pastries.

Saw it on Instagram and decided to go give it a try and buy a rosca de reyes. I went and the rosca that I purchased was still warm!! It was soooo delicious. Will definitely be returning again.

Excellent and I mean tres leches cake! Also bonus points for the fact that they have some tres leches cakes ready to buy and don't need to be pre ordered. Thank you to the good folks that Don Polvoron!

I stopped by here quickly to grab some dessert for a party I was going to. I got a whole pound cake and some corn breads that looked really good.loved the butter pound cake. It's so fluffy and dense at the same time, it tasted very homely. Something you can never get tired of.They had a lot of different treats. I saw people come by and try lot of different things! The service was fast, they even har seating inside towards the left. The menu also had some savory stuff.

As we continued our cake tasting adventures we discoved this bakery and met with the owner: Jorge Flores who has been at this location for 18 years with 16 employees! An amazing cake artist who also studied with the REAL Cake Boss; Buddy Valastro! Jorge's cake was moist with a real "killer" buttercream. We bought pastries, (try the bread pudding...yummmm) AND special ordered my Birthday Cake from him which will be in the shape of my Westie Dog. I will post it in May when I get it. The display cases were fully stocked on a Monday with heavy foot traffic, this is a true landmark that merits our support with a kind, gentle, talented owner who cares about his product and staff. There no cake he cannot create

The bread here is just ok. Prices are as follows. Low end $1.50, average is $2.50 a piece , and some at $2.80. With that said, the price does not match the taste. I purchased 8 different types of bread and the only ones I like was the virote, and the pineapple casuelita. Aside from that, I believe the bread is very very overpriced. You can easily find better Mexican bread than this. I would not recommend the bakery, it just isn't worth the price tag. I paid $20 for like 8/9 pieces of bread. The ladies are nice, and the place looks clean but the prices will keep me away. Muy caro el pan, y no está nada que digas mas bueno de lo común. Los precios no so equivalentes al sabor. Mejores opciones en muchos otros lados.

Friendly staff and cakes are so delicious. They also make custom cakes for different events. The food too is so good. It's mine and my family's favorite bakery to go to. Definitely recommend.

Pastries and the coffee hands down are amazing! So glad they are in my neighborhood!!

Siempre voy a este lugar por unas costillas con nopales en salsa y nunca fallan están deliciosas al igual que los tamales de rajas y los tamales salvadoreños .
