Dominic's at Oyster Point

We had such a great experience with Dominic's. Roger is a true professional and did such a great job of making sure all our questions were answered in the planning and for the final order details. Roger's commitment to make sure we were taken care of was consistent from initial contact to contract signing. Day of the staff was attentive and the head waiter (Charlie) was a veteran with the skills necessary to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the night.Enez (baker) was a delight and veteran to work with. We were fortunate to be one of her last couples in her long career as a wedding baker. Her service was flawless and the presentation was perfection. Our wedding coordinator and the catering staff did an exceptional job making sure we had all our food and drinks and cake prepared and ready to go. I was so pleased when they had my drinks ready at the sweetheart table and our to go dessert boxes prepared for our send off. Guests said they loved the food and the real knock outs were the fish dish and pasta dish. Everyone loved the taste of the food and we were happy we added the carving station and the additional bar staff.Catering staff saved the day my bringing out their cake cutter after I forgot my heirloom set from home. I was so relieved when Roger let us borrow poster sign holders for our signage.Staff did an incredible job and accommodated all our requests when it came to fragrance-free cleansers for scent sensitivities and having packed food ready to go and drinks and appetizers ready for sweetheart table. Facilities were all clean and all the cutlery and linens wear beautifully displayed. I would definitely book again and wish I had eaten more of the pasta dish because it was so delicious!

I love this venue, not because our son is named Dominic. It's for all the Bay Area locals who grew up here, and those who know what I'm talking about. It's convenient, right off the freeway, and there's plenty of parking. It's almost a local hidden gem. I've attended a handful of events here even before Yelp days. Candlestick was its neighbor. You can't go wrong with Dominic's at Oyster Point. The views are spectacular, and hospitality is on point. The staff know what they're doing to make unforgettable memories. Rarely do I ever stop what I am eating to write a review, but today is that day. I noticed the Dominic's food truck parked and decided to check it out. I took a picture of the menu and went back to my office. After looking at the menu, I decided to order the crab louis salad for $16 and the calamari with fries for $12. I thought to myself, these must be tiny dishes at that price - but they were regular sized. I was VERY impressed with my crab salad and paid less than my coworker who ordered a salad near by at a deli. The calamari was cut calamari steaks into strips, which was delicious! I'm now following Dominic's on IG, so I can find out when and where the truck will be next. I'm a fan of Dominic's, their crab louis made my day!

My Aunt's post-funeral reception for family & loved ones was held at Dominic's. It's a nice, secluded venue by the marina in South San Francisco. The food was buffet style and the staff was very attentive. Some of the food offerings were rigatoni pasta in marinara, roast beef, baked chicken, steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, pasta salad and fresh fruit. The food was good. Standard fare for venues like this. No complaints from our table.My family was able to set up a dessert table. The desserts were brought from a few different places in the Peninsula. These were not provided by Dominic's.... The table settings were standard. The decor was simple but nice. There is plenty of parking in their lot and the adjacent parking lot for the marina. Take Oyster Point Blvd exit off the 101 Freeway until you get to the marina and that will be Marina Blvd. Just keep driving past all the newly built bio-technology buildings until the end of the road. You can't miss it.

We held my sister's memorial service here. Their pricing was the best we could find. On top of that, the staff was great and personable. The food was amazingly delicious and fresh. Beautiful venue.

This review is based on the food that was served during our event and the bar. I want to start by giving kudos to the bartender who kept up with all the drinks and kept them flowing she was a real rockstar! Here is where the 3 stars come in. We were told that all wine had to be kept with the bartender. I had brought in a really good bottle of wine to have with dinner but never got to it. The bar manger took it upon himself to open it without being asked. Definitely did not appreciate having my wine open and then having to give it away for others to enjoy it. While dinner was ok the food was just unimpressive. The sliced meat wasn't the best quality and the spinach dip bits were cold and not fully cooked. Even after telling the severs they continued to pass them around. In addition to subpar food the building itself is really run down. I personally would never have an event here.

Dominic's is located along the South San Francisco Marina area. I can't recommend this venue for private events enough. I discovered this venue on Yelp and called Roger, who is the Director of Dominic's. We discussed availability and prices per person. Also what the maximum capacity is, which is 165 people for indoor seating and 40 people for outdoor seating. The food consisted of roast beef, chicken, steamed vegetables, two types of salad, penne pasta with beef ragu, a cold pasta, rolls, fruits, and French fries. For dessert, we had to bring our own from outside. Everything was delicious, which I was pleasantly surprised by. Usually mass produced food is bad to me. But not at Dominic's. There is also a bartender who I felt bad for, she had to make endless drinks for all the guests. But she did a wonderful job. The service was exceptional as well. The reception area, outdoor deck, and views of the marina were fantastic. Couldn't have asked for a better location. I will be recommending this venue to all my friends for weddings or any private events.Thank you to Roger and all the wonderful staff that made an enjoyable event possible.

My sisters and I threw my mom's 70th bday party here. Great turn out. Staff was attentive. Working with Roger with the details was a smooth process. Our guests complimented how great the food and variety was. Will plan again.

I was invited to a graduation party. Dominic at oyster point had plenty of room kitchen, clean nice view of oyster point.

Thank you Dominic's for making my 50th high school reunion amazing. The ambiance was lovely. The food was awesome. Roger, the manager was wonderful to deal with and offered us the best deal in town. Highly recommend this place for your next event.
