Dish N Dash San Jose

The taste, the portions, the freshness! This cannot be beat, best value for some quality authentic Mediterranean food in the Bay! The service is fast and the ambiance is nice too! I highly recommend the Veggie Delight, but the Shawarmas are a good deal too because they come with rice and two sides! I used to always get food from the Fremont location when I worked up that way, but hadn't had Dish N Dash in a while. I am a huge fan of their Pulled Sumac Chicken either as part of the salad or with the hummus.I used the app to place our order, which is really easy to use and convenient. We ordered the Pulled Sumac Chicken with hummus. They let you pick two sides so we had the lentil soup and falafel balls. We did a side of their veggies and the Toum. Everything was really good, except the chicken has something in it that was really papery/chewy. I believe it was a spice, but I couldn't quite figure it out. I don't even know if that chicken is cooked with a Bay Leaf, but whatever it is had the texture of a Bay Leaf, like they forgot to remove it and chopped it up with everything else. While that was a little off putting (and why I marked it down a star), it wasn't horrible. Everything else was really good.I definitely wouldn't mind dining there as it was a nice, open space that appeared to be very clean. And despite the weird spice (?) that was left in the chicken I would still return and order the chicken again.

I have tried the food a few times here when I visit San Jose from Sacramento! I have always found time to revisit this restaurant because the consistency in serving fresh flavorful meals along with the delicious sauces, and excellent customer service never disappoints me. I am almost envious of the people who stay and work close by and can visit this restaurant often :) I ordered the Falafel grill along with organic freekeh (smoked green wheat), and the 2 sides: Roasted Red Pepper-Walnut Dip and babaghanoush! Each item was packed with unique flavors, well-cooked and if you need more flavors or sauces, the side sauces available in the lobby are excellent to compliment your entrees or wraps. The ambiance is also casual, spaced well, and suited for all customers!

Beer and wine available. Good range of beer styles, pale ale, IPAs, stouts, hazies and even a cider. I got the mansaf with freekeh. It's a lamb dish in yogurt. Generous serving of lamb and they were so juicy! I loved it. It's also my first time having freekeh and I liked it. It's more grainy than rice and the chopped almonds gave it a nice crunch. I liked the convenience of ordering it at the counter and having the dish brought to you when it's ready. You already paid for your meal and free to leave once you're done (instead of ending the meal with paying the bill)

Went for a team lunch today and everything was perfectly and timely made (per usual). Absolutely a work favorite of ours!

I recently visited Dish N Dash since it was recommended to me many times. I tried their rice bowls one with Chicken kebab and salmon. Both are good no complaints well cooked meat and generous portions for one, very healthy.

Chicken soulvaki plate 4/5 - I usually get chicken Shawarma but decided to get soulvaki today and it was okay. The chicken is juicier this way but I'm wasn't a huge fan of the flavor. Falafel can be dry but I dip it in their sides and it's a great pair!

Dish N Dash at least for me never disappoints. First time trying this location. This is all self serve. Order your food, get your condiments, drink, find a table and wait for your buzzer to go off and pick up your food. Oh you also clear your table as well. With that said there is no service but the place has plenty of seating. We ordered hummus appetizer which came with 4 pita bread. It was good but a little too sour for me. So it just a matter of preference. I got the chicken kebab, rice and two sides. It was yummy! Chicken was not dried at all. Rice could have been more softer but flavor is all there. Fries and Babaghanouge was perfect for me. Mango yogurt drink, yummy! Lastly coworker got the pita falafel and she said it was great along with her side dishes. Serving size to us was a lot so we had leftovers to take home. Ps parking sucks but food makes up for it once you find parking

Big fan of Dish N Dash, having been to both this and the Fremont location. They offer a good variety of vegetarian options that go beyond just a basic falafel pita or salad. Their salad platter with grilled veggies and lemon herb tahini is so flavorful and comes with two sides. I opted for the lentil soup, which was really wonderful and the tabouli. It all made for a colorful plate! Although it's located in a strip mall, the interior doesn't feel like it. It's spacious and nicely laid out. It's order at the counter and pick up when ready. Our order was done quick, even during a busy Saturday afternoon. I need these to come to the East Bay! Fresh, tasty and good quality!
