Diggery Inn

I've come here often throughout childhood to adulthood. Diggery is always a good spot for a solid meal in a calm environment. The service has always been decent and the energy from staff has never stopped being pleasant. As the food tastes like breakfast I could get anywhere else, it doesn't standout for that reason. It's the service and ambience that brings this place home and for that it's worth stopping by for a meal. 4/5

One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. The Diggery Inn has everything you need for an amazing meal at a reasonable price. These hard working lady's provide a comfortable, inviting and friendly place to recharge and relax and refuel.Doug's Signature was my latest find on the menu. It includes Two Poached Eggs and Chorizo on Toast or English Muffin.Matt says check this place out!

Good location, with lots of street parking. They have a variety of options for breakfast and lunch and the portion sizes are generous, but the food is nothing special in terms of taste or quality. I've been here a few times, and I've left full, but wishing I went somewhere better.

I love supporting local but unfortunately this was a miss in my books . Got the chorizo Benedict and the hollandaise sauce which to me is the co star of a Benedict was awful. Way to vinegary causing separation and clumps in sauce . Then the side of potatoes it comes with fooled me. It looked as if it was seasoned only to find out the potatoes tasted like the oil they were fried in was the same oil they used to fry fish in. The chorizo had little to no flavor , in my opinion this dish lacked flavor . And 4/5 bucks for a coffee w no refills just shocked me. The ladies were nice but it did not make up for my lack of food . Cute place , can't tell you that I'll be back.

So delicious! They always come through when craving a hearty delicious breakfast. Definitely a neighborhood staple that I very much appreciate!Usually always order to pick up but the inside is bright with large windows & clean and owners and staff are there are always so nice! A great place to meet a friend and grab lunch and a beer and sit outside as well! Good people watching loc as well. Thanks guys!

How to spend $30 for weekday breakfast: order the pancake combo, with two eggs, two bacon, nice large mug of coffee ($3.35, steep), then smile and agree to the rapid upsell of fresh fruit plate ($4, so-so freshness on the apples), then sit in disbelief at the outrageous bill and also understand why the servers are so cheery this overcast morning. Coffee was very good, even if the creamer dispenser quite forceful tosses out too much cream. Eggs were tasty and soft, which is hard to do, but there was no seasoning. I did not mind the side of Tapatio but would have preferred the Cholula. Cakes were fine, if a tiny bit synthetic tasting.Next time this will be the order: two eggs with bacon, with home fries, coffee, and instead of the large biscuits I saw, ask for two warm tortillas. Make two breakfast burritos with the fillings and not feel as if I spent way too much. Also, I have been here forever and I did not even know this place existed.

The food was good. There was a nice variety of foods to choose from. The service was excellent and the prices were good. Would definitely go there again. The restaurant is small but it is very comfortable.

This used to be my favorite breakfast / brunch spot. Sadly I will no longer be returning. My partner and I ordered the Dondy Dan omelette and mushroom burger medium well to share. Omelette was delicious but the patty in the burger was raw. We returned it to have it cooked more. The same burger was recooked and returned ti us still raw. We showed our waitress and she just srugged her shoulders and gave us our bill. The bill had written on it, medium raw. What the .... is medium raw? They did not remove thd charge fir the burger we couldn't eat. We paid our bill and was leaving. No word from the owners. Usually when we leave, the owners and staff always say "Thank you, have a nice day." Nothing. They said nothing to us. We had been good customers but we can never go back. This could have been easily fixed but no they didnt.
