Dan's Farmers Market

Currently my favorite spot to shop outside of actually going to a farmer's market.Reasonable prices - similar to farmer's market and less than the Marketplace. They also seem to have more turnover than the Marketplace, so it's fresher. Their organic Granny Smiths are some of the best I have had - crisp, slightly sour and super juicy. They also carry a variety of microgreens. Interesting small producers in the pantry section. The service is always friendly and efficient. Request: carry maitakes! Then I don't need to make multiple stops around the island. Easy to park around the Central/Oak area. I neglected you for a few a years but I am back!

Dan's offers quality fresh produce, exclusive specialty mushrooms like lion's mane and oyster varieties, and exotic fruits such as passion fruit, guava, yellow watermelon, pink pineapple and many more rare fruits. Additionally, the friendly staff keeps the store very well-organized.

I love Dan's Farmers Market because they have fresh produce that's seasonal and delicious! Dan's entire crew is always so friendly and welcoming. Today's raspberries and blackberries are simply divine! 2 for $6!! I understand for some the dilemma is the price point but the flavor and quality always holds true at Dan's compared to household produce competitors. Plus, the cashier ladies are always super nice!! Small, family owned with great customer service. They also carry produce that isn't readily available at the big supermarkets.

It's like a farmers market meets a bodega. What a cool place to have nearby for high quality ingredients. Was making a recipe that called for green onions and didn't have any. Strolled over to Dan's and found them, along with so much other fresh produce. Prices aren't crazy either. They also have a GIANT pumpkin on display and a contest for who can guess its weight. Super fun idea. Happy to have this type of place in the neighborhood.

Very friendly local farmers markets. They have seasonal fruits. Had the best and sweetest watermelons here during the summer.They have lots of pumpkins for Halloween. Makes for a great photo ops.

This little corner market is small, but mighty. Their fruits and vegetables are reasonably priced and very fresh, with lots of organic options. On my most recent visit, I tried their fresh squeezed OJ, and let me tell you it's delicious! During my previous visit, I saw one of the staff members working hard using this machine to package OJ pints, 1/2 gallons, and full gallons. They have a small rack of discounted items that are extremely ripe or nearing their expiration dates, which is a hit or miss. One time I got really awesome discounted veggies and fruits. Another time, I had to pass on everything as most of the items were way past ripe or almost ready for compost. They partner with couple of local shops for ready-to-eat items. I've seen Burmese Tea Leaf Salads, hummus wraps, and etc. The veggie hummus wrap was delicious. Staff members are friendly. This little market takes cash or card. Small parking lot in the front of the shop or street parking available. I'll be back again soon for fresh squeezed OJ and organic produce.#16/2021

Always friendly. They have a discounted area that is always worth looking. Love the open air environment. Apparently, also environment friendlyas well . Squirrels went to town one day on the walnuts. They were placed elsewhere!

Been going to this place for over a decade and can honestly say the quality of the produce is great considering the prices are rather expensive. But holy shit $40 for grapes is beyond unreasonable. I get that you're trying to maintain a business but sad to say I'm done shopping here.

This is the best place around to grab produce and anything else you need to make dinner. Plus they have a little area for discounted produce. I've gotten so many great ingredients that way for super cheap. Everything is quality, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I come here at least once a week to grab this or that, and I'm never disappointed.
