Their content has been hitting my Instagram lately and I've wondered why I haven't tried them and well...I'm glad I did the other day. I went ahead and went to their American Canyon location and got a lot of things...hehehe...and they were HONESTLY really good! Got a BBQ chicken, Bangus and Chicken Adobo plates, lumpia obviously and mini Turonitos - EVERYTHING tasted yummy especially their BBQ chicken. It's safe to say that I will be going back to try other dishes.

We came across them at an event in Fairfield and decided to give them a try. We had the bbq chicken plate and the pork belly plate. Both had really good flavor! The chicken came with 3 pieces of boneless thighs?, a couple pieces of lumpia and two big scoops of white rice for $15. It was a good price compared to a lot of the other pop up spots whose plates are 20+ for small portions. The pork belly came with a lot of pieces, the only thing is I wish it was a little crispier. Other than that, the service was good and fast. Our plates were ready quickly and everything looked clean. I would recommend them and would try other plates from them next time.

Me trying to stay fit, basically made my own plate lol I order some lumpia's and steam rice, even tho looks simple was sooooooo good and I was full by the end of the last lumpia. The guys at the food truck are super nice and friendly. Hope they come back soon. They were at Solano County Offices today. Look forward to eat here again. Maybe next time I'm down for some meat.. I do recommend them.:)

Cooked By Gio is a delicious addition to the Napa (and Bay Area) food scene. We've had their food at their weekly popup in Napa and private events, and everything has always been super tasty. The standout to me is their tofu sisig, which I'd never had before but was surprised by how much I liked it. The pork version is also great, so it's hard to pick a favorite. Can't go wrong either way though! We've had their chicken and pork BBQ sticks a few times and those were also really good! The lines at their popups can get a bit long at times but it's well worth the wait! Definitely recommend checking out their food.

They were generous with their food before, I would order a plate and would come a side of pancit and couple lumpia along with my order. But now they serve a very little amount with the same high price. I ordered a plate of pork sisig and they would fill up the little box with a lot of rice and just small portion of sisig.

Saw this place at BOTTLEROCK this past weekend and have to give it a try. First and foremost I would like to say that Filipino representation is super uncommon in Napa, so to see them at bottlerock & the Napa area in general was a huge plus! They kept their menu super simple (3 rice plates and 2 choices of lumpia, drinks etc.) and were also very up to par with what other vendors were charging considering it was a festival, so it was very very fair. Friday I had the chance to try the popular dish on their menu which was the pork sisig and not only was jt good, but was probably the best sisig I've had in my life. I've had sisig all over the Bay Area, down to SoCal, and even a few homemade versions from family and friends and back. This was by far the best, every bite felt like a warm hug that reminded you of a Filipino up bringing. And if you wanted to add more flavor to this already flavorful dish they had a "tito sauce" which was a mix of soy sauce vinegar and other secret spices that just enhanced the dish to another level or you could just pour it over rice which I also did. Portion sizes were MORE than enough, one huge scoop of rice and prob 1.5-2 scoops of protein which was a lot in my opinion. The next day I went back again to try their vegan dish which was the tofu sisig. This one was crazy! Tofu usually doesn't have any taste to it and I'm not sure what they did to this dish to make it that good but just wow! One of the cashiers told me to add the vinegar to it and I was blown away. It was just like the pork sisig but no pork, but still retained all the flavor! Also my first time trying a tofu version since most sisig has meat to it. I wanted try the adobo on the last day but they ended up having a super long line cutting through the crowd of people and eventually selling out so kudos to them because that just goes to show everything was very quality made! Definitely looking forward to eating here again and seeing the other amazing things they can whip up!

Just got home from bottle rock, so just reviewing now.I walked around at the different food options, and the one that had the shortest line was this place. I should have foresaw that as bad sign. Being Filipino myself, I'd figure I'd support this place and see what they have to offer. First and foremost their prices are super steep. Are you marking up like crazy cause you're at a festival? As most the food was subpar, would I ever pay these prices again for their food? Maybe it if was 8-9 dollars a plate. But again, in the Bay Area I've been spoiled by many other Filipino establishments. Where do I begin... 25 dollars for a measly scoop of rice and sisig. Or for 7 dollars more you get lumpia and a drink. So $32... yes $32 for a scoop of meat, steamed rice(emphasize streamed) and lumpia. I lived in Daly City where we had places serving up silog for 7 dollars a plate to this day with egg and garlic rice. For 32 bucks I can feed a family of 4.This is not Garlic rice, this is rice topped with garlic. It's an insult to their "authentic" marketing. Lastly... I saw a lot of people ordering their lumpia... mainly non Filipinos, this was definitely not homemade, glad it came with my combo cause it would have been a waste of $12. I know this is from the oriental storeI really wanted to like this place, but I'm avoiding for the next two days and going to the other vendors instead.
