I just love working with Enrique & Jazmin they are a true duo that's amazing! Their hearts, their food and their energy is just lovely. I have a play space business in Oakland and I've been partnering with them through Mandela Community Meals for a few months now to bring meals to the East Oakland Collective where they distribute food to the homeless and senior communities. I would take my boys with me when I did food deliveries to Oakland Collective, so they can see what it is like to give back to their community.The work they do for the Oakland Community is all from the heart. The delicious food is made with so much love, and it's so darn tasty! When they cook it's what you would expect to get when you go to your mama's house, like really! Straight down home cookin' THANK YOU both for all that you do for your community. It is greatly appreciated.

Enrique and Jazmin provided food for our church community block party in East Oakland. The food is as amazing, they provided a thoughtful menu catering to various dietary needs. They food was amazing and full of flavor accompanied with a range of house made salsa. Enrique and Jazmin pour their hearts in their food and you can definitely tell because they served with joy and gratitude. I can't recommend them enough

I had the pleasure of working with Enrique and Jazmin recently when we hired their services for my daughter's first birthday. It was a backyard party, beautiful day and delicious Tacos were an icing on the cake. Everybody loved not just the food, but their personality, decor and professionalism. They arrived on time, setup and were ready in no time. We chose al pastor, chicken and papas from their menu and it was truly outstanding.Thank you guys for making the party such a hit with the amazing food, and I am sure we'll have the opportunity to work together again, and I can hardly wait for that moment to try out your food again.

This last February we hired Cocina Del Corazon to cater our son's Bar Mitzvah party for 120 teens and adults. We enthusiastically give the highest praise for, and have the happiest memories of working with them. Along with the gorgeous and delicious food (for us passed hors d'oeuvres, tacos and made to order churros) they provided bar service, linens, and decorations. They are truly full service caterers. They are foodies and clearly have their culinary chops, but so many other things make them stand outs. They are nice people, warm, communicative, flexible and professional. They worked seamlessly with our event planner and our venue. When they learned making churros indoors would incur an extra high cost to us for a fire permit they purchased on their own equipment to mitigate this. I love these guys and wish them success in all their current and future endeavors.

The best fish taco I've ever had in any country, any state, any city. Very generous portion of fish and an additional side of the lime mayo needs to be added it is SO scrumptious! I measure all fish tacos to their standard and nobody comes close!

Wonderful food complimented by amazing service. The vendor always has a positive energy and is always a pleasure doing business with. I would highly recommend.

I'm a carnitas snob, mostly because I only like the carnitas from Jalisco over on International. The way Enrique makes the carnitas is outta this world! juicy, perfectly seasoned, simply delicious. Also, I'm pretty anti-Vegan, hence my love for carnitas, but their soyrizo con papas made me a believer. There was some leftover from when they catered my sister's party and I had it the next morning, mixing it with scrambled eggs, man.... best breakfast ever! Both Jazmin and Enrique are friendly, the setup is inviting, they are organized, and the food is just that good. Plus, they are Oakland natives, and I will always support businesses of color owned by natives fighting to remain rooted in The Town.

Had them come out for a memorial gathering last year in 2019. Was great! Food was terrific and they were friendly as well. Set up and cleaned up tidy. Thanks to you all for making the day!

We booked with Jazmin and Enrique for our wedding in October and I have to say they were BY FAR our favorite vendors. I wish I could rate them 10 stars. We were looking to support Oakland business owners of color and get some delicious food too. They were a perfect fit!!We both had never planned an event this large and were mostly on our own aside from a coordinator. We were stressed out and coming up on the date to get them a deposit to reserve our date. Not only were they flexible with me but they assured me that we didn't have to worry about them in this process. They know how hectic and stressful planning a wedding is and they wanted the food to be the last worry we had. During the process, they met us at the venue beforehand and helped plan the layout. They were timely in replying to emails. They followed up with the venue on their own with necessary paperwork. They seriously did make this an easy process.THEN...on the day of our wedding, they came through with beautiful signs and a lovely setup. It was so colorful and happy! The food was absolutely delicious (I'm so glad I had time to enjoy the food). Our guests were talking about how great the tacos were for weeks! Not only that but they had such great vegan options our vegan friends were super grateful they had tasty taco options too. Jazmin and Enrique were sweet and gracious to our guests (my dad loved them) and made everyone feel like family. Seriously, everyone we've talked to loved the food AND their warm personalities. Lastly, we received a follow up email with some nice words and a few photos from the event. Honestly they were some of our favorite photos of that day.I'm so grateful Cocina del Corazon, Jazmin, and Enrique were part of our special day. I would hire them a hundred times over if I could.

Cocina Del Corazon has been providing Fresh HOT Meals to Oakland's Homeless Encampments. 77th Ave Rangers Camp is one of the fortunate locations to receive 3 Hot Meals per week for our entire Encampment.
