Clubhouse At Las Positas

My friend had a Celebration of Life for his wife and he decided to hold it here as they had attended another event at this venue. There is a private room which is in the same building as the sports bar where they serve food and that day, there was a big 49'rs game and there were plenty of customers watching the several big screen tvs around the room. The venue has free parking. The private room was a bit drafty and needs a new coat of paint but it was a good place to hold this event. The private room where the Celebration of Life was just perfect for the event and this was the first time I have been to a venue for a Celebration of Life, rather than at a church. The event started with the buffet lunch, which consisted of mashed potatoes, bread, salad, mixed vegetables, beef and chicken. The food was plentiful and filling, however the beef was a bit on the chewy side even though it was medium rare. Coffee, iced tea, canned soda and hot tea were also available and a rich chocolate cake with raspberry filling was served for dessert. We didn't come here for the food but if you want to host an event here, the grounds are lovely and service is friendly.

This was our family's third event at the Clubhouse (aka Beebs) and once again we had a wonderful time. My review does not do justice to great service we had. The room was perfect for our anniversary party of 150 and the staff is awesome. They are very organized and attentive to the guest's needs. The food was great and everybody enjoyed. A special thanks to Jenny who took care of everything. She walked us through the process and helped us make the right decisions so that we would have the best event. Thank you again and we will be back for future events.

Nice servers, great ambiance; had my sons first birthday, we were able to utilize the outdoor area as well. Food needs improvement (beef was on the dry side); Lived the calamari. restrooms were unkept per the guests; nice window view. 3.5 stars!

Dear Jenny and staff,Thank you for a fantastic experience at your facility on September 5th, 2015. Prior to the event, your awesome customer service was fast and responsive to all our requests, even for a special margarita recipe. We arranged for a room set up for 80 and you handled it with swift action and grace (without a hint of exasperation) when 120 showed up. The food was delicious and many of our guests expressed their pleasure at finding buffet food with great flavor. We loved being served by friendly yet professional staff, who tended to us with very little distraction. Our Celebration of Life for dad was entirely a success and we thank you all so much for making the service part of it a great experience.The Talbot Family

We decided to host a breakfast the morning after my brother's wedding. This venue was recommended to us by Courtyard Marriott. It turned out to be a great venue, as the food was great and service was also very good! I would highly recommend this place!
