Churros Guerrero Cart

What an incredible treat to experience--AND it's situated conveniently in a residential area for accessibility! The churros are delicious in their own or with a variety of fillings. My favorite is the caramelo (caramel) filling that's made with goat milk. (It's like dulce de leche but warrrrrm.)The people who run it are also the owners, which means they're invested in creating a friendly, community atmosphere and gladly cater to special requests. Be prepared to pay either cash, use Zelle or get cash back from the nearby Mexican grocer. There's no option for card payments!

BEST CHURROS OF MY LIFE!!!!! Who knew a little food cart on the side of Cardenas market could be this life changing. The husband wife duo are nice, and they keep a real simple menu. Plain churros, filled churros, or fried bananas with condensed milk. Plain will run you $1.50, and the filled ones are $2 each. One is a perfect size treat, but tbh you won't be able to just get one. They're piping hot, so make sure you give it a second to cool before biting into. The caramel one is the oneeeeee! But they do have chocolate, vanilla and strawberry as options for filling. The outside has the best cinnamon sugar crunch and the inside has the perfect fluffiness. FYI - CASH ONLY

The "Churros Guerrero Cart" is a great place to get hot, fresh filled churros!This small food cart is located at the corner of High St & Bancroft Ave, in the Cardenas Supermarket Lot. I was cruising down High Street in East Oakland, when I spotted this food cart on the corner. I was curious about what they were selling. The friendly lady said "Churros! How many you want?" Then the man with her said "$2 my friend." Okay, $2 each for a filled Churro, cash only.I asked for one of each flavor they offered:-chocolate-strawberry-vanilla-caramelI think I liked vanilla best. It's been a long time since I've experienced fresh churros. Here on the sidewalk they make them right in front of you. $1.50 for plain variety and $2.00 for one with filling. I chose the caramel after asking for a recommendation. It's such a treat at a decent price. I highly recommend this place. I waited until about 4:00 pm for them to come and get established. A long time ago I used to go to Rico's Churros on Foothill but they haven't been there for a long time. Enjoy!

I love Churros! My favorite sweet tooth, especially with the hot vanilla inside. Yummmm! They're on the corner so not hard to miss them. Street parking or in the lot that's shared with a WSS & Cardenas. I love supporting small businesses especially mom & pop shops! This is exactly what this churro cart is! A couple, selling delicious, fresh, hot churros! It's $2/ churro CASH ONLY with many flavors like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and even caramel! They're always so welcoming and I'd never choose up on this cart. My all time favorite. Craving something hot & sweet, gooooo!

You know its legit when its a small cart on the corner of a street. These churros are always made FRESH. Piping hot on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. Besides the typical plain cinnamon sugar, they also have different flavors like caramel, chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla they they fill on the inside. Considering how small/short these are, $2 per stick is kinda steep. Don't get me wrong these taste really good, but each of their sticks is like 1/3rd (not half) the length of a Disneyland/Costco churro. My favorite so far is the chocolate filled one, but the next time I'm in town I'll try the other flavors.

So yummy! Super friendly and sweet owners. The churros are fresh, light, and crispy. We got a vanilla and a caramel churro. Definitely recommend. Dare I say it's better than Disneyland churros.

I have lived in Oakland for 20 years and honestly, I have seen the reviews years back and always had it in the back of my mind to check them out since they were close. However, I never got the chance because I would always forget. However, last week, my daughter wanted churros, so I made the decision to finally try it out. OMG!!! Probably not the best idea because now we are addicted!! They were fresh and hot. My oldest decided to try the caramel filled one while my youngest and I got the plain. Well, they were crispy on the outside and soft and doughy in the middle. It was sooooooo good, we went back the next day and got more. Yikes!!I would have taken a picture but they never seem to last long enough for us to take a picture.Our first experience with churros was at Disneyland years ago and we fell in love but throughout the years, the quality at Disney started to decline and the price increased, and I wasn't a fan anymore. So, in my eyes, these churros here is IT!!!!Price isn't bad. $1.50 for each plain and $2 for ones with filling. However, I will note that the churros aren't like the super long ones but I think they are still fair with the prices and honestly, two of those were more than enough for us. The whole fam is completely hooked!!Check them out when you're in da town.

OH MY GOD these are soooo good. We stopped by at 4 PM on Cinco De Mayo and could not have been happier. Absolutely delicious and the price is right. We tried the plain and vanilla filled and both were amazing. And what a great couple running the place.Cannot wait to go back!!!YUUUUUUUMMMMMMM!!!!
