I'm not a fan of this place at allWe bought food as a group for workThe orange chicken was more like orange flour the breading was much too thick I can say the same for the sweet and sour chicken The fried rice and chow mein was ok but nothing to write home about I can't speak about the service or the ambiance so I can't really rate that Chicken dishes each at 1 starChow mein and rice at 3I'm assuming since I didn't hear bad reports from my coworkers about the service when they picked it up the service and ambiance was good so I'll give that a 5 each which brings us to 19 points for a rating of 3.8 hence the 3 stars

so I moved back to San Pablo and was so pleased to find out this place is still around! Their food is always fresh and flavorful and I am still in love with their beef chow fun, dry fried ribs, orange chicken. They are way better than Panda Express anyday. I also love that they offer my childhood favorite, Tomato Beef Chow Mein, lots of Chinese Restaurants don't nowadays, I'm going to try their's next . I'm excited because their food is always great and the prices are reasonable (unless you use Grubhub, I prefer Doordash because Grubhub has extra fees for ???)...

We ordered dinner from China Wok through a delivery app. It was ~$47 before tip for two entrees and two side dishes. Food arrived hot and in good shape in sound containers in good condition. The Mongolian chicken was okay. It was a bit overly sweet for my taste and the chicken pieces were a little slimy too. Covered in a thick gelatinous sauce that pooled and oozed in the corners of the box, I was disappointed with the textures of the onions and peppers in the meal, as they were like flavorless noodles and less like fresh vegetables. The sweet and sour chicken was good. The breading was a bit thin and sloughed off when bitten. This led to a pretty messy meal with chuncks of breading falling all over the place. Overall though this was probably the best thing we ordered. The wonton and egg rolls were not very good. The wonton filling was really oozy and kind of gooped out of the shell when bitten and the egg rolls had the distinct taste of being from frozen. TL;DR: Okay but a bit expensive.

I'd recommend this place highly for anyone looking for a delicious Chinese-American style meal for takeout in the area. The food tasted very fresh and delicious, and staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had basically just ordered for take-out, got an estimate of when it would be ready, drove over and picked it up. Ate at home and enjoyed it. The portions were very generous.Quick, easy, good. Fit exactly what we were desiring for take-out.

This has been my favorite Chinese food place since I moved to Richmond. This place gets a bad wrap because it is a real #hood whole in the wall and you can tell they have done absolutely nothing with the building since the opened. Let just say I recommend not looking at the surfaces to closely. Any of them!!!But there food is better than any of the Chinese restaurants in that area. Good portions as we'll. I would also say be patient with them as many of them do not speak good English but they are very nice people

The Chow Fun is the way to go!I had the chicken chow fun while K had the pork, and the beef counterparts (not at the same time). I loved my chicken chow fun both times while K thought the beef and pork were relatively a little lacking in flavour.Adding a teaspoon of hot chili oil kicked it up several notches, and am told the beef and pork too tasted way better. Maybe all it needed was a little salt-n-spice kick. The second time we ordered delivery, they mixed up our orders and sent chow mein instead. I tried to shrug it off and just chow it down but decided to call them as the chow mein was not in the same class as the chow fun. It was milder in flavour but it did much better with a dab of hot chili oil.Their customer service was fantastic though! They delivered the correct order about an hour later. I offered to keep and pay for the chicken chow mein (and return the uneaten beef chow mein) as i had already opened and tried it, but they refused to accept payment for it and told us to keep the chow mein too. Both the chow fun and chow mein noodles are most probably fresh made as opposed to the dry packaged variety. It was a little chewy, stretchy, and bouncy with great texture. Personally I just prefer the chow fun but I bet you won't regret the chow mein either. Finally, the portion size is very very generous. Each noodle dish clocked in at more than 2lbs each.

Please be aware of ordering from this restaurant to avoid food poisoning. I ordered mu shu and the wrappers had mold all over it. See pictures and make your decision from there.

The fish is OK but I do not like the fact that they force you to get side items when I don't even eat them so that means I have to spend 22+ dollars just to get seven small pieces of fish. This is crazy they should consider changing that everyone should not be forced to have to eat the side items, especially when they are not good.
