Amazing Chinese food! Ambiance is ehhh but who cares when the food is so good!Would recommend this place for anyone looking for flavorful Chinese food at a decent price.

Everything was amazing! The sweet and sour pork was crispy, warm and well sauced. The fried rice was so fluffy, tasty hardly explains it. Their egg rolls were beyond delicious., crispy and the filling was outstanding. For the price, this place is a must go! We will be back. So yummy!

It seems as if every time I go to this establishment they have an attitude when you have a customer that walks in your door you greet them you don't act like that. They're not at the counter and continue your conversation and then say oh what did you order? This is not the first time The first time it happened. I said I am not gonna spend my money with them anymore, but I was sick and I needed some soup so I went over there and what do you know? I got the same treatment from the same person this guy is a straight asshole Certain people are a trip they don't like different cultures but they like your money how dumb. that's why from here on out I'm going to Willow garden or China delight, friendly establishment always a smile on their face if you want some good Chinese food that doesn't taste old and the people greet you with a smile. check out China delight location, Pinole, California, or check out Willow garden Hercules, California. I'm sure these people are not related to China House where the food is old and the customer service is just azz old and funky as their food and attitude

Located in a small outdoor strip mall with ample parking. Signage on door states "to go orders only." Phone orders accepted. We ordered the House Dinner for two which included Appetizers: 2 Fried Prawns, 2 Egg Rolls, and 2 Foil Wrapped Chicken pieces; Soup: Sizzling Rice Soup; and 2 Entrées: Prawns with Mixed Vegetables and Mandarin Beef. Steamed Rice was also included for $41.Of the appetizers the prawns were good but were smaller than the circumference of a finger. I didn't like the oily, fishy taste of the egg rolls or the consistency of the paper wrapped chicken however the flavor was good. Haven't tried the soup yet. The entrees were both delicious!! The Mongolian beef was super tender and although it could have used a few less onions I loved it! The prawns were fresh, plump, the vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly! The variety of veggies was also nice. A little more sauce would have made it perfect but overall another great dish!Lady working the counter was pleasant but not friendly but I didn't care since the food was to go...lol.Can't wait to try other entrees! Summary: I recommend this place only if you don't mind about an almost rude service. I say almost rude because if you know what I'm talking about - Chinese servers - then I suppose you can get past that. Food: I liked everything I tried from this place, no complaints. Not salty, it bland, to the best of my knowledge ingredients are fresh, food cooked just right. Portion wise, it'a not that much, but definitely better than other places. A plate can be shared with two people. Parking: freeBathroom: clean but don't expect fancy. Service: As mentioned above, not stellar but it's the kind of service you'll experience from most of the authentic Chinese restaurants.

Three stars all around for food, ambiance, service.first of all, At the time of this review, the hours posted in yelp are incorrect. They are closed 3:30pm - 4:30pm. we tried calling many time with no reply.The food is fine if all you're familiar with or like is american chinese food. we come here for the convenience of location. The truth is there just aren't that many really good Chinese restaurants in this area. You have to drive to El Cerrito or Berkeley to get substantially better foodUPDATE: my wor wonton soup had raw pieces of beef in it. see picture. NOT GOOD!

Horrible Customer Service from the lady behind the counter. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one here that noticed the lady is super rude.I really like the food here and I have been coming for years but yesterday was horrible. Right when we came in, I knew she was in a bad mood. Not happy at all to see us. I have no idea why.We were served our food, and the last item of Chow Mein was missing. We were basically done with all our food and were stuffed. I told her we didn't want to the chow mein anymore, we were all done at this time. She literally yells "You ordered the Chow Mein" and storms off. Comes back and slams it on the table.As a waitress, it gets difficult and a simple "It's on the way" would have been more professional.I will not be coming back again. Ruined my experience.

Will never come here again. I have come here twice and the woman at the front is incredibly rude. She did not even look up at me when I was asking a question and did not answer me. I thought she was ignoring me and was about to ask again when she gave me the chili oil I asked for. There was a bag of food on a different table that I had to ask if it was mine... she was just counting up receipts and did not tell us where our food was. Both times this lady was rude and did not even look up at me. Please go somewhere else!!!

Close the place down!! I walked in there not even a hello! I asked the lady if we just sit anywhere and she just looked at me like I was crazy. So rude. Tables dirty. Hauling garbage out the front door! I used to order from here ALL the time not sure what happened. Seems like the lady does not want to work or is having a bad day but not our problem. It's ok never giving them my money again. Customer service may be something they should look into???

Ordered take out from here a few weeks ago. As we went to pick it up, we had gotten into a car accident. As we were dealing with the aftermath of the accident, we received a call from the restaurant asking if we were coming to get the food. We had apologized to the woman on the phone stating we had gotten into an accident and we didn't think we'd make it before closing time. She got really mad said "are you serious" and then hung up the phone on us.
