I've been going to the Chile Bravo truck for years. I love both their burritos and tacos! Their meat is well seasoned and the salsa is solid. My personal recommendation is to try the suadero. It's a meat that you don't usually find at trucks and taquerias. The staff are friendly and the food always comes out hot. This truck is popular, so be prepared to have a few orders in front of you.

I'm lucky that this is my neighborhood taco truck. 8 years loyal as a customer, I've tasted them grow. Everything is really good - they just might consider adding a taco salad - their way - to the menu. Even as just a special. A hidden gem. Consistent quality.

Discovered this place on Saturday while stopping for hair supplies for my wife. OMG the food is soooooo good!!! We got tacos, fish and shrimp, and spent the rest of the weekend talking about just how good the food is. We both love the full spectrum of Mexican food from 100% authentic old school to modern Tex-Mex and this place is simply delicious. Reminds me of food I got when I lived in Yuma and used to hop across the border for a day trip. The food is amazing and the prices are really affordable. Friendly staff, good food, decent prices, what more can you want... Two hearty tacos with generous fillings with veggies on the side (jalapeno, carrot, cucumber, etc.) for less than $15. Bam! Check it out, support local small business, and be happier for the experience.

I normally dont do trucks BUT in Oakland most of the trucks taste better than the store fronts!!! This one is fantastic! I usually get shrimp burritos (if they have shrimp) sometimes they run out if a certain meat. Especially steak!!! Go early so you can get the meat you want!!!

My go-to taco truck in West Oakland - think it's noticeably better than nearby Tacos La Perla (which isn't bad). Highly recommend this spot if you live in the area or don't want to make the trek to East Oakland.Regular street tacos (onions & cilantro) are ~$2.50 each but are LOADED with meat. I've tried most of the meat options (asada, al pastor, pollo, cabeza, lengua, suadero), and they are all really flavorful / well-cooked, with the al pastor edging out asada as my personal fave. 3-4 tacos are probably sufficient for the average appetite. There are "deluxe" versions available as well (sour cream, cheese, avocado, etc.).Another plus (esp. as an LA transplant) - they have great CALIFORNIA burritos! Not sure of any other places in the Oakland area with this. The steak and shrimp burrito, on the other hand, was just alright... a little too sour cream and filler-heavy for me.They also take credit card for payment. While I don't think lines are outrageously long (yet), operations can be slow at times. But definitely give Chile Bravo a try - yummy tacos await!

For sure my favorite taco truck in Oakland. Not does it taste really good, they are nicely priced with loads of meat. They are also generous on veggies, garnish and sauces, and always happy to give me another bag or two when I asked. Call ahead and your tacos will be ready within 10 minutes. My favorites are steak and chicken.

The best in the west! Everything they have is good but their steak and shrimp burrito is a real crowd pleaser. So do your tastebuds a favor and get one.

My favorite burrito truck west of the lake, their carne asada and suadero burritos are amazing. Not the best carnitas, though.

I've never been a food truck person, but when I see a huge line in a random parking lot, I know the food has to be good. This place is awesome and well priced. The staff is friendly and they have always got my order right. The steak and al pastor tacos are my favorite. Good portions on the burritos too, they don't skimp. Definitely give this place a try.
