Chicken Meets Oyster

This place has the best chicken sandwich in the bay area. Their charbroiled oyster is on hit too. And you gotta ask about the fish sandwich with that tarter sauce . You just got to get there early because the line be super long and after that you'll be waiting a while. But it's still worth the wait. People wait there for a reason right!

Have been excitedly waiting to give this place a try due to good reviews and is craving for some good hot chicken that we enjoyed when we visited Nashville about a year ago. However it was very disappointing. Yes the chicken was hot but it was temperature hot. Not a hint of spicy at all, plus it was dripping with oil (yuck!). That's far from what we got to try in Nashville and honestly based on our taste, Popeye's spicy chicken would actually be better. Even the crinkle cut fries were terrible. They were all mushy and not even hot, despite picking up the order immediately when it was ready for pick up (we were there waiting for 20 minutes - so not an issue with the order sitting around). Maybe their oysters are good but their chicken is definitely not and we won't be returning unless something or someone strongly compels us to give it a try again.

Went to their pop up in San Jose last week and was not disappointed!! Chicken sandwich- we ordered it spicy and it was sooo good. The chicken was crispy on the outside & juicy inside. Nashville nuggets- I should have ordered 2 orders. So delicious and perfectly seasoned. Fries w/ everything on it- also cooked to perfection Oysters- Kumamoto oysters grilled with toppings. This was my favorite and I'm craving it again.Can't wait for their next pop up!

By far the best Nashville hot chicken sandwich in the bay. Awesome flavor, with enough heat to make me want more, good amount of slaw to cool it down just about right. I been here a couple of times since they started and they are very consistent. Don't forget the grill oysters and the fish sandwiches, those are awesome as well. My little person gets their lemonade every time, I think that's the bribe for her coming back with me. Pro tip, for now they are only open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday's every month, and they sell out of everything every single time. The first time, I missed out on the grill oysters and those were good. So come early and don't miss out. Words were spreading about this hot new chicken burger joint and we just had to check them out. We had the special spicy burgers and some fries and I tell you they are hellaaaa spicy good!! Every bite was filled with flavors and we just couldn't stop. We bought 3 more to go! The following week we were in the neighborhood so we had to make a stop for more!! What's awesome about this place is after a spicy chicken burger , you can down it with some of your favorite brew!!!You should check em out! I highly recommend it and You won't be disappointed

Hands down one of the best hot chicken sandwiches i've had that I ordered from both of their pop up deliveries on top of going to one of their first pop-up events. Warning, the hot sandwich is fiery HOT! Chicken is juicy on the inside and breaded to perfect crisp perfection on the outside with tasty seasoning. Their special fries are crunchy and packed with flavor, including fried chicken skin! Give it a try!

I'm SPEECHLESS!! It was DELICIOUS!! MUST TRY!! Got one of everything that was available and not one disappointed. You'll leave full, happy and satisfied!

If you haven't tried Chicken Meets Oyster yet you must be sleepin! CMO is a must try for anyone visitin the Bay especially cuz you got the bay area rapper P-Lo challengin anyone who eats spicy to pull up. The Chicken sammich will make you wanna slap yo mama! J/K but forreal their Chicken sammich is delicious and tasty. Its a Nashville style flavored chicken which will make even the hardest thugs tap out on the P-Lo challenge. If you like spicy holla at them for the P-Lo challenge and see if you can hang! That shit was so spicy it had my ear ringing after the first bite. I recommend the medium spicy for people who can't hang wit that level of spicyness. The oysters are charbroiled right in front of you fresh and the pairing with the chicken goes hand in hand. Definitely a spot to pull up to if your lucky enough to get some food before they sell out.

This place is great! The oysters are slammin and the spicy chicken sandwich is the best if you can handle the heat. Order ahead because they sell out fast!

Great little spot. Had small order of spicy wings and fried chicken sandwich. Yes... but wanted to try the joint out. Wings were perfect, 10/10, crunchy freshly fried, nice size wings. Fried sandwich was good, I'd give it a 9/10. Would come back for more of those wings!
