Ordered pickup from UberEats because they had a BOGO deal. I was able to get two grilled chicken bentos for $18. The portions were decently sized where I had leftovers enough for another meal! Food was ready as time indicated on the app so I was able to pick up promptly and enjoy my bento at home. Really enjoyed the grilled chicken bentos and would order again!

Kind of disappointed with the portion size of 3 out of 4 rice plate that we ordered for take out today. If the owner would update the picture on the menu in their kiosk with the actual plates I got at least I would not be disappointed. Any customer would be disappointed after seeing the picture on the menu then see the actual to be so much smaller. I have attached pictures of the menu on the website and kiosk menu. Compare that to the actual plate I got today. It looks like someone already took a bite from my plate because the portion was a lot smaller than the picture on the menu. If this was my first visit, maybe I would be ok. However, I have purchased take out many times from Chick & Tea so I don't think this is acceptable. Either you raise the price and customers would understand or update the pictures on your menu so we know what to expect. We are probably not going to go back in the next couple of months and give them another chance in the summer to reevaluate.

S-O-L-I-D spot for Taiwanese bentos. Right off the bat, #B3 was the perfect combination for me at the time because I was craving both minced pork over rice and popcorn chicken. Sometimes you really can have it all! For $15, I got a bento that had variety and flavor. The popcorn chicken was overcooked by a smidgen so some small parts were a little dry, but the sweet chili sauce helped (you have to request it though). The minced pork was comforting and tasty - I wished the ratio of pork to rice was a bit more balanced, but still filled me up. The fish balls that accompanied the rice added a pleasant contrast and I was pleasantly surprised by the pickled cucumbers and carrots. I would say that was some of the best pickled veggies I've had from a Taiwanese spot. My partner ordered the GPIE bento, which definitely made me slightly regret my order...yes, it was delicious and I can see why it was one of the popular menu items. For the first time ever, I did not order tea (I already had boba in the car), but intend to on my next visit. Keep in mind that this place is mostly for takeout so there were a lot of to-go orders waiting on the counter. You order from a kiosk, but the food comes out pretty quickly. If you're looking for a well-rounded Taiwanese bento, this is it!

Solid Taiwanese fast food in Rose Pavilion. We stopped by for dinner on Christmas as our first choice for Chinese food was overcrowded with an hour plus wait. Glad we did. This is a small establishment with 5 indoor tables and 3 outdoor tables, and one orders and pays on a touch screen. We ordered a couple of bento boxes and a few assorted appetizers, which were ready in less than 10 minutes. My favorites were the popcorn chicken and the grilled squid. The ladies enjoyed the condensed milk bun, taro balls and squid balls. The bento boxes were good too. Bill was less than $100 before tip. Service was friendly. Will be back to try other options.

Went here to grab a quick snack. The place is very small and the floor was not clean. There was spilled sticky liquid all over the floor. The service was quick. We order through the kiosk. The popcorn chicken was fresh and tasted good.the have bento lunches and dinner.

Really high quality bentos! The portions are generous and all the sides are delicious. We got the basil teriyaki chicken bento, which came with a marinated egg, braised pork over rice (lu rou fan), pickled veggies, and some other veggies. The lu rou fan was really flavorful and the rice soaked up the sauce really well. I also thoroughly enjoyed the basil chicken which was tender and well marinated. Portion was super generous and enough for 2 people.A great takeout spot!

The chicken was fantastic. Both the grilled and fried. But the squid and mushrooms were extremely chewy. I'll be back, but will definitely try different items. I hear the taro balls are really good.

New spot in the dublin pleasanton area. We got the pork chop and braised chicken. I think most boxes comes with an egg, minced meat over rice, pickled veggies, and cabbage. Meat over rice is very good. Good flavor on the meat. 5/5Egg was normal. Hard boiled 4/5Pass on cabbage. No flavor at all and i think it was steamed 1/5Pickled veggies were not very picklely 2/5Onto the protiens. Pork chop was very very tender for such a lean cut. However the breading was very soggy cause it sat in oil/fat. The flavor of the breading was nice but the pork itself was bland. 3/5The braised chicken however was very crispy. The chicken was tender and juicy. Flavor and sauce was perfect. Sweet and tangy. This was way better than the pork. 5/5Seasoned fries were nothing special but it was definitely a big portion 3/5Service was fine. You order on the kiosk and they make it for u. Pretty small inside. Only about 6 to 8 tables.

Taiwanese bentos and street food! This is a small shop with a few tables - you order at a kiosk and they call out your number to pick up food. We got the GPIE (fried chicken) rice plate - which came with minced pork rice, braised tea egg, and two sides. The sides were very refreshing, and the rice was flavorful!! The fried chicken was made with chicken breast, but it remained so juicy and tender!! The five-spice marinade was also delicious. We also got fried tofu and grilled jumbo squid. The squid had the best citrus soy grilled flavor and had huge portions. The texture was also the perf balance between tender and firm. The tofu was... bad lol. Incredibly hard with barely any batter.

Randomly stopped by here a few weeks ago on the way to SB. I was surprised how GOOD this was. Ordered the popcorn chicken bento. The chicken was well seasoned just enough and nicely fried. The sides were tasty. The rice was NOT overcooked. Even the water was good with some lemon slices in it. Ordered take out recently. It was still good but definitely better eaten in house.Honestly like this better than SL at Pacific Pearl
