Chemaki

This is a super legit new spot for coffee. I went in to check it out and got a really nice lavender latte. The Ethiopian brother behind the counter let me know they have brunch on the weekend. I'm really curious to try it because it's a combination American and Ethiopian brunch menu. It's a bright and clean interior with all good vibes. A decent amount of seating inside and a couple tables outside. I like that the service was really quick with good vibes. Chemaki has only been open for four months but I'm all about it.

The ambiance was a vibe. Mabecca gave excellent recommendations and costumer service. Not to mention her expresso tasted amazing. 5 Stars across the board.

This venue is "right up our alley", so to speak-figuratively & literally [conveniently-located in our physical neighborhood!] so, we frequent the place for our late-breakfast ["brunch"] very often-almost daily. people [staff] are incredibly friendly & amazingly accommodating your "special requests" [they go the extra mile 7 out of their way to do so & deserve praise-& the tip, for that-even during these more challenging financial times to many!]! Food is excellent - in terms of its freshness, taste & overall quality. I am referring to both their avocado toasts as well as to their tuna sandwiches but also, their peanut butter jelly [PBJ] with slices of banana on top! Great quality & overall, 2 words: Excellent & delicious [for a place which has opened relatively not so long ago!]. And, their hot beverages, man, the best in town; straight black especially their lattes & all! Superior [with the owners, Teddy, the boss being from Ethiopia, he makes sure he orders high-quality Ethiopian coffee, top-quality-brewed-&-tasting nice-n-fresh!! But, we've tried their teas, too! Typical Ethiopian tea with spices [cinnamon & cloves] in it! They serve it in a teapot with extra so that you get to have more than one serving! Amazing aroma!Finally, also a word of praise for their smoothies [we've had the apple orange carrot ginger!] & their pastry-in general pin particular, their tiramisu & puff pastry]! So, our BEST advice: Go Chemaki Go! Instead of investing in/spending your money *unnecessarily elsewhere* [in commercial, bigger chains & corporations of Coffee shops & Cafes which turn around & screw you with their profits politically but also, nutritiously, without your best interests in sight!]-do it supporting first-time business owners &*locally*-owned businesses!
