Seen this place come a long way. It stays clean. Stocked with tons of good snacks, good beer & fine wines. Very good service, kind and polite and always has what I like on hand. I love a good well ran business it shows. It's convenient & good store hours. If you looking for something they more than likely have it.

This is our favorite market in the area. It's family owned by some really wonderful and friendly people. They always have a wide selection of frozen foods and dry goods. You wonder sometimes how they find the space, but they do and it's well organized! During the short time since we've moved to the neighborhood, the owner has been kind enough to keep some of my favorite items stocked and since covid hit, they've been pumping hand sanitizer into our hands at the end of our transaction. So thoughtful!!

It saddens me that they went to all this trouble remodeling the place without any real improvement. It is now neither an endearing oldtime business or an upgraded spot that reflects the neighborhood. They could have taken the opportunity to add a more diverse selection of goods with some natural foods, better beer selection, and a few nice chocolates, And they could've made it a more comfortable place with some seating, plants, etc. Why not support an array of price points and preferences? And why remove the cool wallpaper and put up cheesy LED lights and corporate beer signs? I much prefer the simple convenience store nearby on 13th Ave. At least it's honest and real and has a good selection of microbrews. Or the great one on Park boulevard that knows how to be a neighborhood tradition and offer a wide array of products.

They allow people to use stolen cards at this store and then lie about it. I live in Mississippi and my card was used at this store. I've never been to this store. I've never even been to California.

I know people don't read reviews for liquor stores but I need to vent. I live down the block from this spot so I've gone here several times. On Friday I purchased a reg size bag of beef jerky, I paid with my card. I didnt ask for the receipt and just checked my bank statement. I was charged $29 bucks!!! for beef jerky. Yesterday I bought a 24 pack of modelo and a bag of ice, they charged $39 bucks. Either the kid behind the register is stealing from this spot or they have ridiculous markups. They lost my business. As a business owner myself, let me give you guys some advice. You can shear a sheep many times, but skin him only once.

I have been going here since before the remodeling and was always pleased with how hospitable the staff always was and still is. The place looks even better now and I am so pleased to see even more snack options. Also very grateful that this traditional bodega has not fallen trap to gentrification.
