Absolutely delicious! I stopped by to grab breakfast before an appointment and was so glad I did because this place is lovely. Like a cozy, secret oasis. The owner is super friendly and we chatted while he made me coffee and helped me choose several empanadas for take-away. This location serves as the main kitchen for their other sites, so it's very calm and low key here, which I appreciated. I tried the pumpkin empanada- crispy on the outside and warm/gooey on the inside (with walnuts that added a nice textural contrast and accentuates the pumpkin flavor). Can't wait to test out the rest at home! Will definitely be coming back and ordering catering for events.

Super yummy little pouches of heaven. The man working recommended the cáptese and I was skeptical but he was spot on. Unique flavors. Very good latte made extra hot as I requested. The hot sauce is packed with flavor too. A nice little place to relax and refuel. Clean and adequately comfortable.

A welcome new addition to the neighborhood, Cafe Buenos Aires offers empanadas for omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, and the sweet toothed. They are tucked away in a quiet little courtyard with benches and small cafe tables. We were very happy with our vegetarian and vegan selections--neat hand pies that are just the right amount for a light lunch, especially if you want to save room for a coffee and sweet empanada. A good neighborhood lunch spot would be enough to celebrate, but when I looked up their website, I found that one of their goals is to create a safe space and a welcoming environment for all community members, particularly LGBTQ+ people from around the world. It seems like a great business to support.

I'm not a medical doctor. But I'm pretty sure this breakfast burrito will cure whatever ails you the day after a mezcal-and-tears-filled belated birthday celebration/overdue catch-up with a good friend. Just the right amount of eggs, cheese, potatoes, rice and beans, therapeutically delicious and served piping hot in a grilled tortilla (my favorite part), with salsa on the side. Options for meat or veggies. Great value. Bonus: warm and friendly, no-judgment service for ordering a "breakfast" burrito at 1pm. Quaint and quiet patio to stuff said burrito into face in relative privacy. Salud!

I loved the spinach and cheese empanada! I would order that a million times! The caprese was okay it was more like a cheese calzone but still was good. There weren't any napkins around at the time. I would come back for sure though and I want to try more empanadas!

This new location is tucked away on tenth and has a quiet shaded courtyard with tables. Empanadas were fresh and so many options, savory, sweet, veg, and even vegan. Incredibly kind woman working even opened back up when I ran back having left my bag behind. Check it out!

I finally stopped here to get some empanadas! Robert came out and gave my dog a treat and welcomed me. I got a few heated up and a few to go. Wow! They were really good! The chicken was super flavorful and the beef and onions one hit the spot. The sauces were a nice compliment. I didn't try the blueberry and peach ones yet. What's also cool is they brand the flavor of the empanada on each one somehow. I'll be back with my family to eat there soon.

Delicious and memorable empanadas here at this hidden gem. I had one beef and one carne picada - both served piping hot and stuffed with meat. The oil that's served as a condiment was the perfect compliment to the flavors in the empanadas. Will definitely be back for more! There's a charming, shady outdoor seating area for relaxing and enjoying your meal.

Corner shop with delicious tasting empanadas. Coffee is pretty good too. Seems a little bit expensive, but worth it once in a while.
