Still obsessed with this spot. The menu is limited but all the coffee is amazing. I usually opt for the flash brew. So smooth. I don't have to add anything to it. The service is always kind and quick. The line can get really long on Sundays so be patient! It's a small part in a big area full of seating and tables. I see people studying, working, and just enjoying each other's company in the seating area. I always stop by either before or after I go to church. If you're inclined, you should check out one of the services! You're welcome to bring your coffee in :)

A great work area or a place to catch up with friends! It's so spacious and beautiful, natural lighting comes in from every corner. There's plenty of seating inside and outside, if you want to get away from the busier areas there's more straight ahead as you enter for a quieter setting. Baristas are very friendly and approachable! I had their oatmeal as I wanted something light. I'm very picky with my oatmeal, so ordering an instant one was my fault as I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. But it had a nice cinnamon kick to it! Their matcha did its job to satisfy my craving for the day but nothing much to rave about that stands out. Overall this place is a great area to try. Plenty of parking and also a nice area to stroll around!

The baristas are very nice, but the drinks are not. I ordered an iced dark mocha and the milk overpowered the drink, not enough flavor. I also ordered an iced matcha, unfortunately same thing, you only really taste the milk. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant, the croissant was VERY cold. I'm not sure if they have a spot where you warm it up yourself but anywhere else I've gone they usually ask, but the barista just handed it to me. Wont be coming back for sure

This is my coffee stop whenever I'm in the area. Who knew a solid coffee shop would be located attached to a church?! There's so much comfortable seating inside and seating outside. I've had a their house drip coffee and lattes. They use Verve beans (love it!). The staff are so friendly and kind and usually ask how my day is going which is such a small thing but not because I remember it and makes it such a positive experience.

A great (not so little actually huge) spot on top of a hill in Castro valley next to a gym and a church. Inside reminds me of a college study hall lots of tables to sit at and chat or do some remote work from you lap top. This was my first time here so I asked the Barista what she would suggest I order and she said the "honey graham latte" was her favorite so I decided to order that. The latte was a perfect blend of coffee, honey & graham cracker flavor; delicious. My only feed back was that the latte felt lukewarm instead of hot.

What a nice cute place to have a morning cup of coffee with your girlfriends! The drinks are simple but they are great. The staff was friendly. And lots of seating area inside and outside. The cafe is in the lobby area of the church.

The space is such an airy and refreshing space to sit and work/study. There is some noise but I personally like it and can block it out with my headphones. The workers are friendly and kind. The cashier complimented my shirt lol. The matcha latte I ordered could be less milky and a bit sweeter but I'll just ask to have it extra sweet next time. I think it is some of the better matcha I've had at a cafe for my personal liking so that's a win. As a writer, I'll def be coming here to focus more! Note: This is attached to a church. Not a good or bad thing, just something I didn't realize so if that matters to you now you know

Cafe 4 is a great place to sit down and get work done. It has wifi, lots of seats, and outlets. I ordered a matcha latte and it was very bland. The servers were pretty friendly and nice. Overall, I would just go there to study or get work done rather than for the drinks.

Love the large sun-filled space! Great place to work remotely from, but can be a bit tricky to find an open outlet if you come later than 10 AM as a lot of people come here to work. The staff here were really nice and seemed to remember the names of regulars. I ordered the sweet vanilla latte and it was good! Would definitely be coming here again now that I live closer!

I come here to work a few days a week while my son is in school. It's a great place to work if you're remote and want to get out of the house. The only reason this isn't a five-star review is because of the constant Wi-Fi password changes. I understand the sales strategy of encouraging us to come to the café area, hoping we'll make an impulse purchase of one of your delicious pastries while asking the staff for the new password, which seems to change every 24 hours. It would be helpful to either reduce the frequency of the password changes or post it somewhere visible, so I don't have to walk across the room after setting up my workstation and leave my belongings unattended. Please and thank you. Also, the music volume could be a bit lower.
