"Just like its name, the food here is absolutely amazing! This place is super close to my home, and I've passed by so many times without trying it, now I wish I had known sooner just how incredible it is. Everything we ordered was delicious!The portions are huge, so depending on your appetite, one dish can easily be shared between two people. We had the house-made garlic bread, and wow, even Italian restaurants could take notes from this place! We also tried the vegetable laksa noodle soup, chicken lemongrass noodle soup, Thai Massaman fried chicken with rice, and Massaman shrimp with rice, all absolutely fantastic.For drinks, we ordered a round of boba drinks, and I loved the crème brûlée one! Mine was super sweet since I ordered it at 100% sugar, but I'd definitely recommend cutting it to 50% for a perfect balance.The staff was polite, the ambiance was cozy, and just a heads-up, come early because the wait times can be long. Highly recommend this spot, and I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!"

The space is small, so large parties wouldn't be too comfortable in here, and walking between the seats and tables aren't too easy as well. There were only 2 people working the front of house so it took a bit of time to get necessities and our orders. The meals were delicious, and had great portion sizes to share. I was a big fan of their green bean chicken dish, that had curry spice and a sweet coconut flavor to finish. I also ordered the seafood basil chili, which was plentiful with all kids of meat, but I was quite disappointed with them using imitation crab as well how oily it was. I'm definitely coming back for another green bean dish, but for take out instead."

I thought the flavors were well-balanced, but I could also see someone finding it a bit too salty, especially with the more you eat it - nonetheless do give it a try! "My friend recommended Simply Thai to us since we were craving Thai food. We came on a Saturday evening and got seated quickly because they were not too busy. "Note this review is for a meal we had before the news of the sudden departure of the chef. So sad to hear of this news, what a great loss for Oakland and this neighborhood. I read the article from former staff. I am shocked. I don't want to support a restaurant that mistreats staff. Sanitation issues, so many other things that show a lack of integrity from the top...you'll have to read the article yourself. I have to say, the customer service we received from staff was great, and the food was great...where it goes from here on out though, no one knows. Hope they can get it right, clearly many locals love this place. The food was so tasty! This place has been on our list to try ever since it opened and for my brother's birthday we finally made the visit! Our family of four shared everything family style (the best part about going out with a group is you get to sample a little bit of everything). And although we were a little shocked at the smaller than expected portions, we were actually quite full at the end! I do recommend family style for this place. Here's what we shared:-Crunchy Catfish Salad: shockingly small portion and the catfish was unexpectedly served in a crumble style instead of chunks of meat as I imagined it would, and a little too sour for me but it was still delicious and definitely earned it's name--crunchy! Due to the sour nature of this dish, I would not recommend anyone order this as their main, definitely share it.-Massaman Curry: vegan dish, sweet, sauce was so good we asked for more rice to finish off the sauce; although it was good I'd probably go for a meat curry next, as a carnivore I did miss my meat in my curry.-Drunken Noodles: loved the smokiness, sweet flavor, brisket was cooked just right (medium rare); glad I shared this dish because I think the smokiness could get overwhelming had I had the entire plate to myself-Stir Fried Japanese Eggplant: tasted great but the outer skin was a little tough, wished it was cooked more thoroughly although I can see some other people enjoying itFor dessert:-Blue Rice Pudding w/ Mango Sorbet: so good, my favorite of the two desserts we ordered! I really liked the variety of textures--blue sticky rice, crunchy sticky pandan rice krispies, sorbet, mango pieces. Can never go wrong with mango and really loved the unique pandon rice krispies (I'd seriously purchase a bag of those)!-Corn Sundae: very unique, sweet & salty flavor profile; don't order if you don't like any sort of bitterness (the mock fish sauce was a little bitter, similar to bitters in a drink). I'm a big creamy corn milk fan, less of a coconut fan. I felt like the corn part was a little overshadowed by the other flavors. But that might just be me, my brother said this was his favorite of the two.Birthday boy got the Samarai Sun cocktail, which he liked! I tried a sip, and it was really refreshing and light. Would make for a great summer drink. The cocktail menu is pretty expansive, so many flavor combos that I'd love to come back to try. Great customer service. No birthday specials, but they kindly put a candle on the dessert that we ordered. Seating is pretty limited, and busy even on a weeknight. Note that they do take reservations, so it would be a good idea to make one in advance. Since we didn't make one, we were given the outdoor patio seating, basically coffee table seating, but within 5 minutes of sitting down to study the menu another table opened up and they offered that to us! The place is very modern/hip, and the unique asian fusion flavors on the menu reflects that. Didn't realize it was in the 2024 Michelin Guide until we got there. It's rated Bib Gourmand, which means quality food for a reasonable price. Not sure what the future holds for Jo's now that staff and chef are gone. We will be following the head chef Intu-On Kornnawong and where she goes next (I hope she stays local)!!"

"Came here for a team lunch and it was a great find! I got this confused with the other Monkey Thai where I didn't have the best experience, but this place is completely different. The waitress was busy but prompt. Super friendly and sweet. Their lunch specials are the way to go! You get an app, meal, and a drink for about $20. It's plenty of food too! Everything was tasty. Service was fast. The music was a bit loud, but they must have noticed and turned it down midway through. Also, it got busy and poor waitress didn't have any help so it took awhile to get our bill and some boxes. All in all, it was a great experience and I wouldn't mind coming here again for a good portion lunch plate."

"The 11th Tiger is a hidden gem in the sleepy downtown of Danville. They offer delicious food at a decent price. Actually it's easier to find a value meal here than a street parking spot even on a random Tuesday evening. The other thing you can find is a huge menu selection. Just when you thought the selection is vast on the front page you flip it around and see there are more to choose from. It took awhile to decide but we finally ended up with the Roti & Curry Dip, Crispy Roll, Angel Wings, Pad Thai and BBQ Chicken. Not the most traditional selection on my part but it was what we were craving. Honestly, I would select these items again if I came back. Everything tasted great and fresh. All the sauces that came with the appetizers were really good. The Pad Thai noodles were flavorful. On top of that the service was on point. Food came prompt and water cups were never empty. The restaurant is perfect for parties of four. I didn't see tables bigger for parties of 6 or more. Perhaps they combined them together. The restaurant is not that big. It seemed like a lot of people come here for takeouts. During our time there people came in and out for their pickup orders. Give them a try if you're in the area and you're craving some good Thai food."

It's like eating pho though, once you mix, you gotta eat it meow, but they will package in all it's pieces so that you can get the full experience at home. Only restaurant within a mile of my house worth leaving a glowing review for. Cherry on top, their service is top notch.The rest of the menu is excellent in flavor and quality, but mostly common items. It's a street food place, and it's street food tiny, simple, and tasty. The noodles were soft yet had a nice chew to it. The default spiciness is mild, which it was. Though, they did bring out the condiments of Thai chili, etc. The string beans were cooked perfectly.
