"This was the absolute, most delicious cashew ice cream! You could've fooled me, it's better than normal ice cream! Zoe was super sweet, helpful, and was so welcoming! We ended up getting a lot more than we planned for, but Zero regrets and a happy belly! I highly recommend for any vegan people, especially with allergies, everything is super clear and easy to understand, and seriously delicious! Thank you and see you very soon! (and they even had cashew milk bones for my pup! What a dream!)"
"I did not expect Niles Ice Cream to be so good. I was in the area on a hot day so what better way to cool off than to get ice cream. They have a large variety of flavors and always give you a humongous scoop. - Caramel Cashew - I don't even like caramel that much but I was a big fan of this ice cream. There was huge chunks of cashews in every bite and the caramel wasn't so overwhelmingly sweet.- Peanut Butter Fudge - I love how each flavor is so distinct and this peanut butter one is no different. I love how pervasive the peanut butter was and you can definitely taste the fudge (chunky) parts.Absolutely loved my experience here and am already thinking about what flavor to get next time. By the way, the line may seem long from the outside but it moves very quickly. My only complaint was that I wanted to sit inside the store but there was way too many flies."
Mango fruit chunks, ice, and milk, blended into a smoothie topped with a bit of cream for a creamy taste. No ice level adjustment.

"I never seek out frozen yogurt (froyo) as I'm not a big fan of the sour, tart or tangy taste. So when my sister mentioned wanting to get some froyo I was not enthused about going.Yogurt Deluxe is located in the Safeway shopping Center on E Castro Valley Blvd to the farthest left of the strip mall. Sister was expecting a self-service type of spot where you pay by the weight. This is a "place your order" and the person will make your order with toppings you request (additions = $) from nuts, popping boba, fruit, gummies, etc.First visit, I opted for the caramel, fudge and pecan sundae (they have about 12 different sundaes) but skipped the fudge....pecans were fresh, the frozen yogurt was the perfect texture and flavor and topped with yummy caramel. You can also get flavored frozen yogurt that are tart, low-fat, nonfat, no sugar added and carbolite which pure yogurt and whey, low calorie, fat and cholesterol free for those with dietary restrictions.Definitely a return visit as their froyo reminds me of The Country's Best Yogurt (TCBY) when I was a kid....gentleman working the counter was friendly, and great stop for the 10-year old niece who saw cotton candy and pineapple froyo! Then you add all her options...and sheesh, well a happy camper....and yes, the flavors were delicious but a small size will be sufficient next time!3 tables inside, 2 outside...plenty of lot parking."
"I really like this small shop! It's very simple on the inside with few seatings inside and outside. Once you get the ice cream, you could walk down the street while eating! I got the black sesame and pandan ice cream and it was really good. I really like how strong the flavor was for both flavors I got and that it wasn't just a slight hint of pandan or black sesame. It's a little pricier and smaller than your normal ice cream, but it definitely is worth the price and flavor you get! Service was fast and quick."
"Despite the negative reviews I had a good experience. Granted while looking for the location I walked right past it - On the outside it is titled as a different food spot. Inside - very empty and a good amount of seatingThe interaction with the person at the front was a little awkward, BUT thats ok.We got a bunch of different drinks and everyone was satisfied."
"Ill start by saying that I am 1. fat and 2. I eats a lot of ice cream. I am an expert. When it comes to this brand that specializes in small batch, homey flavors you simply cannot go wrong. And when I tell you that they got it out the mud - I mean it. Their team put in some work on quality. Ice cream eats really smooth, no chalky tones. Eats soft right out of the freezer (which is a big deal for me). I was able to try two flavors: Karamel Apple: In my mind, I was unsure about this until I ate it. Apple flavor is subtle but appropriate with a bit of sourness Just enough "karamel" to keep balance. I started eating this and I ended up smashing the pint with the quickness (I really should consider working out again). Peach Kobbler: Have you ever ate peach cobbler with ice cream and half way through the bowl you have this perfect blend of ice cream melting over the cobbler...all the spices, fruit and creaminess (slap yourself awake!) AND WE ARE BACK. Let me tell you, its right! They even go the extra mile and place a round of crust atop of the pint so you know its real...They aint playing.I hear they up and running at Berkeley Bowl now (from running a biz out the crib to pop-ups and now grocery stores) - this small batch operation is no fluke. Grab your stretchy pants and hop on the train with me...one Skoop at a time."
"Always a good experience when I come here. I'm a very indecisive person but the workers are always super patient and kind. Donuts are delicious and fresh. Pricing is very reasonable. Sometimes if they have a little left over they'll even give you a couple free donut holes :) Place is clustered but clean and has a small table inside sometimes if you want to enjoy your coffee and donuts inside."
"Ordered half Hawaiian and combo pizza yesterday and some wings that was half original and half bbq and all of it was delicious !!!! I will be retuning !! The taste of the pizza and wings were amazing !!!"
"I visited Sweet Bar on a Sunday afternoon it was not busy, the service was quick and the staff was nice.Unfortunately the waffle machine was broken so I was unable to try the waffle bubble. I got a few ice cream cones and milk tea. The kids loved the ice cream and the milk tea was good. The shop is cute and was a nice experience definitely recommend trying."
"Reviewing the Churro Cart. I stopped to get my carry out order at Guadalajara Taqueria next door and I saw the churro cart. I've not had to many churros before, actually only once. Jack-the-Box doesn't count. So had to try!Thank lovely señorita made it on the spot. Frying in hot oil, then coating it in cinnamon sugar, and injecting the caramel inside.Goodness! I ate it right in front on the cart. The caramel oozed into my mouth with every bite. Mucho bueno! I was tempted to get another one however, I didn't want to ruin the experience. Señorita said the cart is open daily. I will definitely return!"
"If you're looking for desserts in Fruitvale, this is the place to go. Our kids always try something different--and they're always delighted--but for me the five star review rests on one item alone. The Mangonada. Now I have had other mangonadas, but this is my favorite. Perhaps it's like a first kiss; all others, even better ones, don't have exactly the same zing. Or maybe it's just that the chamoy to Tajín to mango sorbet to mango chunks ratio is spot on. Whatever it is, now that we've moved out of the neighborhood the mangonada keeps luring me back. Cross the Bay Bridge? For this mangonada, absolutely."
"Plenty of room to seat and enjoy your snacks I tried the chocolate banana and nuez it was fresh and delicious, usually they make chocolate bananas in other places from old rotten bananas lots of peanuts and chocolate, my friend had a paleta and it was creamy and delicious, friendly and attentive staff."

One of my preferred local ice cream spots. The flavors change regularly, so you'll always get a chance to try something new. They do limit you to tasting 2 flavors max, though I think you can't go wrong with any flavors you choose. Payment is electronic preferred (no cash) and they recently posted new hours starting May 2024.I highly recommend trying their housemade, waffle cones too. My favorite is the black sesame waffle - it adds an additionally nice layer of flavor and has the right crunch and mouthfeel to pair with the creamy ice cream. Ice creams are made well with solid ingredients. They can also make an ice cream sandwich, sundae, or root beer or cold brew float. Add toppings to your ice cream for $1.55 each (they have a taste-enhancing balsamic glaze that I recommend you try with certain flavors). You can also buy a pint for $16 to take home and savor your favorite flavor longer or share with others. This weekend I combined 2 flavors in one scoop in a black sesame waffle cone: garden delight (made with fresh cream and colorful, edible flowers!) and sage. Finished this all up before my delicious ice cream even had time to melt or drip down the cone!

Hidden gem at a corner restaurant. Trust google maps! You'll be pointed to a different storefront, but the cafe is right inside. It's neat to have a wider variety of yogurt drinks in San Leandro making it a sweet treat for those who aren't on team caffeine.

This is really good ice cream, and you should try it!I saw this Yelp listing, and I got interested in trying this ice cream made in my hometown of Alameda. I went to the Island Savoy Market, and they only had "Chocolate Dipped Strawberries." Now, to be honest, I wasn't really impressed with this flavor. It's creamy, but the strawberry flavor was somewhat mild. It just doesn't grab your attention. So I decided I wanted to try the flavors the other Yelpers were raving about. Now, where else do they sell this ice cream? I went on their website and did some research. Guess what? "Get The Skoop Premium Ice Cream" is operating a ghost kitchen at the Oakland Food Hall in East Oakland. As of May 2023, it's listed on DoorDash and GrubHub. Well, that's a good way to widen your distribution area. They do charge a little more $$$. But after trying "Key Lime Pie" and "Strawberry Lemonade," it's worth it. Their Key Lime Pie ice cream tastes like a creamy and refreshing Key Lime Pie. The Strawberry Lemonade is a refreshing blend of flavors. Trying these two flavors makes me want to try the rest. A Yelp review is a consumer experience, and my experience is that this is really good ice cream that's worth a try.Support Local Business!

Legit boba place. One of my ultimate forever favorite places to get boba! I did wonder why I never left a review while my butt keeps coming back here! But here I am.I've seen how this place struggled while pandemic was happening. Whenever I pass by I keep looking at that "Open" sign if it's on that's how I would know if they are open. There was a time that they were closed for how many days probably months. They have been through it all! I am just glad this place still exist! Boba drink is always made with love very refreshing make sure to tell them what's your sugar level! DO NOT FORGET TO LEAVE A CASH TIP :) Bagels, Croissants, Donuts are always fresh! My most favorite is bagel sausage and cheese! it used to be $3.50 however after pandemic prices went up which understandable. Service is always fast and efficient thats why i like it here :) I suggest coming here and check them out!

"This place is great is you have a sweet tooth or if you want a quick bite for lunch. They have a good variety of Agua Frescas which in fact they go crazy with their tortas. I grabbed a turkey torta Today, must add queso fresco for the all time experience ."
"Love this place!I work in the area twice a week and this spot has become a must stop before work. I usually arrive around little after 5AM, so there's not a lot of customers. I order a large sugar vanilla latte with oat milk, extra hot and they make it consistently the same, which is really good!FYI, they only take cash. There is an ATM inside the store. Highly recommend!"
"The ice cream stop in San Leandro! You cannot visit San Leandro without stopping by Clancy's for some delicious ice cream. It's very charming on the inside, has an old Irish feeling. The staff are always so friendly, nice, and attentiveNot too expensive at all, and $4 min for credit card use"
"This Place is an a Prime Example on How Pizza Places should be... Old School Vibe. The Pizza's are really good. Perfectly thick and loaded with Stuff... Fresh Veggies at the Salad Bar. And the Beer!!! They have the Best Selection! Pliny the Elder, Space Dust, etc... Don't have to wait long for the Pizza... Most the time they have someone Pouring the Brews so No Waiting for that either..."
"Super good, especially if you get the non-popular flavors. The main items here are cake flavored and then the main sando (which you should 100% get) is covered in sugar.I went with the Pandan and Lychee with the Ube sando and it had a great balance of not being too sweet and having a super unique texture on the sando and good flavors on the ice cream. It's pricey but can be split two ways with your date"
"Very clean nice customer service one person very dry the other very upbeat Food was good and decent and a nice place for kids to hang out in the back ... seems like for teenagers..nice options for drinks and milkshakes and boba.. my son enjoyed it and I would definitely go back they are open a bit late than some"
"Where do I begin with Tay Tah? I've been going here ever since I was a child. It was the first place that elementary school me ever tried boba, thanks to my friends 15 years ago. Tay Tah was the hot spot for my friends and me to walk to for boba, snacks, and smoothies after elementary and middle school. This is a nostalgia review on my end.I haven't been back since I graduated high school, the reason being that there are many better boba shops. But, my best friend and I chose to meet here for a trip down memory lane. Most things have stayed the same aside from new furniture and the interior rearranged. The menu is practically the same lol. Inside they have high tables and chairs for families plus outdoor dining. We always enjoyed the service here, sweet, memorable, and efficient. So with all this boba talk, I had to get a boba drink. As a child, I loved their boba smoothies and it was an obsession of mine to try each flavor. Nowadays, I can't have the majority of the drinks due to them including dairy. For this visit, I got a Thai Iced Tea with Oat Milk and added Boba. It was standard and tasted typical of what you'd expect. That's the one thing about Tay Tah that I've always found, the food and drinks are reasonably priced but the food isn't the most noteworthy. For those in Albany, chances are you've probably heard of or been to Tay Tah for it being a staple since 2004. Due to quality and taste, I don't crave the food or drinks here anymore but it's nice knowing business is still well! They're easy to spot on the corner of Cornell Ave. with neighborhood and free parking on Solano!"
"It's on the lower end of five stars. It hits all the right notes for me. Good location both in terms of where I am when I want to go for icecream and being by just enough parking. The service is friendly enough. The selection is just large enough. They have seating. Their packaged take home ice cream is a notch above safeway (or wherever else you go to buy ice cream). They have a mix of choices for how your ice creams served. They have outdoor seating, which, if you're out at night in Oakland is usually what I want. It's not flashy but it hits the spot at a reasonable price. If you are regularly in the area and haven't tried Humphrys it's worth it. If you're visiting Oakland I wouldn't trek far for it over, say Fentons, but I wouldn't trek choose if if you're in the area over making the drive to somewhere else (which I can't say about some of the competition)."
"Service was great, you can use a kiosk to order or order with an associate. We opted for the kiosk because my kid likes to take her time. After ordered we watched while our ice cream was rolled. Ice cream was delicious will definitely be back"
"I ordered waffles for our office last week and was so impressed with everything from exceptional service to the quality of the food. Chong and his team went above and beyond! We even got shout outs from one of our executives because the waffles were that good! Would recommend this option and will definitely be ordering from them again"
"Not even exaggerating when I say these are the worst fries I've ever had. They were soggy, flavorless and dark like they were fried twice. My burger was a 2/10. It wasn't even hot. $30+ down the drain and food went in the trash. I'm home with a sick child and was really banking on a good cheat meal today."
"This place isn't as bad as a two-star review might indicate, but three stars is too generous. The service is uneven, and you might be at a disadvantage if you don't speak Spanish (I do). The man who initially took my order went to go shuck corn instead of waiting on me or even giving my order to someone else.Fresas con crema (strawberries and cream dessert) was decent; bionico (chopped fruit with cream and granola and topped with shredded coconut) had only a single strawberry on top, which was misleading from the photos and from other places where I've gotten bionicos. The places like these that don't list prices also make me wonder whether there is one price for the Mexicans and another price for the gringos. The price seemed reasonable to me when I was rung up, but I don't know if it's because I spoke to them in Spanish. This place isn't worth going out of your way, but it's good enough if you're curious enough to drop by."
"I love this place! The ice cream is delicious, the decor is adorable, and the people who work there are really special. When you meet the owners you understand why. Brandon and Alicia are the kindest, most wonderful people. You really feel good supporting their business. They make a big impact on the down town vibe. It's one of the only really kid friendly businesses down town and that really matters to me. My daughter is autistic and we need places like this where we feel comfortable. Go check out double rainbow if you want to have a delicious treat while supporting awesome members of the community."
"When I want ice cream... I want ice cream. When I want frozen yogurt... I don't want something trying to pretend to be ice cream with 31 flavors. So I come here for the Italian tart which is perfect every time. Their selection is smaller than yogurtland's but I actually prefer that. This place is easy to miss while driving and parking can be complicated with all the new parklets but it's worth the effort to check it out for yourself. The inside is nothing special and (don't know if this will be true post COVID) they're limiting folks inside to 6 at a time with the staff members scooping the toppings on for you. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that because they're scooping the toppings sometimes they can mess up (i.e. gummy worms instead of gummy bears) and also their toppings could use more fruit options. Still, I'll come back for my go to... Italian tart with gummy bears."
"Even if it is cold, Good ice cream is a must. Ate at a restaurant down the street, but had to come here for dessert. We had: honey graham, Pretty Woman (champagne and strawberry)."
"When I think of a "kaleidoscope", I think of those handheld toys you look into that displayed a colorful aura with psychedelic patterns. However, I don't want to go too off topic so I will leave it at that. Which takes me to Richmond where I had the opportunity in checking out "Kaleidoscope Coffee". Located in the cozy downtown area of Point Richmond right on Park Place and south of the 580 freeway, this place has been brewing up delicious coffee beverages and food dating back to late-2015. My significant other and I came here during the morning of Sunday 4/21/2024 at around 10:20am as we needed that extra caffeine kick before venturing to San Francisco for the day. Parking was surprisingly easy to find as this is a very chill and quaint part of town. Since it was a Sunday, many of the small businesses were closed for the day. Kaleidoscope does offer very generous business hours as they are open 7 days a week from 7am-7pm. Best of all, they also have an open-mic night every Monday evening.Once inside, you are greeted by a huge open space area. It was arguably one of the larger sized coffee shops I've frequented. You will find many tables for small parties, comfy sofas, and plush chairs throughout as if you're lounging inside of a friends' living room. This inside area has a huge brick wall complete with shelves that includes dozens of reading books, whole bean/ground coffee for sale, coffee filters, and mugs. Every square foot of this place is well executed perfectly for a cozy and relaxing experience. The outside does not disappoint either as there is a large deck and garden overlooking several trees in the distance.Since I was a little hungry, I ended up ordering toast (they use 2 slices of fresh Sourdough) complete with peanut-butter, honey, and cinnamon. As for my drink, I chose an iced Vietnamese coffee (which offers sweetened condensed milk). My lady ordered their avocado toast (which also use the 2 slices of sourdough) while this included salt, pepper, and olive oil. She went with their hot vanilla latte. Our drinks were ready within a few minutes while our toasts are ready only a couple minutes later. My toast was made to perfection while my lady was generous enough to let me sample her avocado toast. This absolutely hit the spot in every way possible. Oh, and my Vietnamese iced coffee was also a 10/10 and made to perfection. We also had the opportunity meeting the owner Venkatesh (aka Venki) during our visit and mentioned just how wonderful her coffee shop looks. Since we're not from this area, I don't know the next time I will visit but this place is as good as it gets as far as coffee in Richmond go. With that said and done, I am giving "Kaleidoscope Coffee" a unanimous five-star rating. Service, ambiance, prices, coffee, and food was all tops in my book."
"Knudsen's wasn't part of neither my teen nor childhood days. My childhood in the ghetto didn't have any ice cream shops. My teen years i liked BEER!Didn't seek nor know of Knudsen's @Southland mall. K's been here for years. Selling more than ice cream i.e cakes, burgers, chilis, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, kid's meals, sides.Lenghty floor space with many tables, booths. Waitresses waiting to serve me. Looked at menu, passed. Went to ice cream counter.Licks: double scoop-cherry vanilla, rainbow sherbet (10)-generous scoops, cherry frozen stiff, tasteless. vanilla flavor faint. Sugarness overpowering.-sherbet colours(cream, orange, green, red) dazzling. Flavors nil, sugar plentiful.4 stars great value. Not my kind of ice cream. Kids will lick it to the last drip!Parking in the back."
"Gelato here is sooooo good! I had 2 scoops of the banana nut flavor. Delish! I also tried the funnel cake for the first time. Worth trying if you like funnel cakes, they're pretty good!"
"Food is awesome . Love the milkshake and burger . Customer service was great very nice and professional and fast service"
"Wow! Did not expect this place to be open/so good. It's in the same spot where Little Giant was in one of the apartment developments near Uptown. Cute interior and equipment is out for the public to see. Service is nice- mostly kids but no one was rude when we were there as they were closing. They have a very wide selection of ice cream, from Shrikhand (Indian saffron yogurt flavor) to Middle Eastern coffee/cardamom. I ended up with the cookies and cream flavor, which was delicious! Definitely worth trying if you're in the area!"
"At first I was a bit confused where they are located. It's inside the Fruitvale public market. On a Sunday afternoon the wait was about 10-15 minutes. The parking was a bit of a hassle since it's street parking but was able to find parking down the street. I ordered a small mangonada which by far has been the best I've tried. Also since it's mango season the fresh mango was perfect. I also decided to try the Tejuino it's a beverage but It wasn't what I was expecting."
"Authentic Afghani ice cream. Good and quick service. Relaxed ambience with a lot of family people visiting as regular customers. I loved the serving portions and taste is simply too good."
"I love this place they have great bubble waffles all the desserts are delicious crafted drinks different ice cream flavors bubblegum blue ice cream is one of my favorite outside sweetie cute place for a little date! I have nice music player on the inside great dessert place for the family also."
