"Short Story: A great place for small bites and appetizers!Long Story: I've been here 3 times since they opened in September 2024. I've tried their rice dogs, wings, fries, and more! The food is good (for the most part) but their rice dogs are a bit too chewy. The hot dog itself seems a bit subpar. Their wings are great with several different flavors. I've tried the kimchi and badok which was super spicy! The service is good and the portions are okay. There is a bit of a long wait and I'm hoping this gets better over time. The prices are in line with what you get.Verdict: I'll go back someday."
"Came here late one night on a Friday after touring all the usual bars of Oakland and I arrived to this hot dog stand. I wasn't expecting much except for some good drunk food. However, the hotdogs here were fantastic. Pretty surprising how close they were to New York hot dogs, but a lot cleaner with better service haha! The guy was real nice, hooked us up for a great price. Probably one of the best hot dogs I've bought in California."

"Good mochinut! Wish the mochi donuts were gluten-free, so more people could enjoy them.Pass on the boba, it's underwhelming. Can't wait for the soft serve options :)"
"Not even exaggerating when I say these are the worst fries I've ever had. They were soggy, flavorless and dark like they were fried twice. My burger was a 2/10. It wasn't even hot. $30+ down the drain and food went in the trash. I'm home with a sick child and was really banking on a good cheat meal today."
"This is a place not of this era and it should be cherished as long as it's around. The food here is good, but that's almost beside the point. Eating here is like walking back into time."
"Korean corn dogs are so good, so filling, craveable ! I'd compare this with an analogy; When the Japanese took over the American car market by making uber reliable cars, the Korean's have done this with the Illinois invention of the corn dog. A hotdog on a completely different level! If you love corn dogs as much as I, this is a must try!"
"Absolutely delicious! I got the sumo dog and tranquilitea. The sumo dog was tasty and flavorful, and the tranquilitea (mango green tea) was delicious and fresh! I really enjoyed both, and the service was great. Rebecca was super nice and friendly, and the Martin was too! The cart is very cute and I'm so glad I caught them while shopping!"
"Honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. We like their smoked tri-tip, smoked ribs, mac and cheese, greens and yams. Always excellent service."
"Heading out with my friends to do some wine tasting at Alameda Point, we headed to St. George and Faction Brewing. My friend said we had to try Sticks, a corn dog stand in front of Faction. Since she's not one to like corn dogs, I was immediately intrigued. We ordered the Louisiana Hot Link and Classic Beef Frank to start. I expected a standard size corn dog where you feel a bit ripped off by the price and wished you had just gone to Hot Dog on a Stick. At $6 a corn dog, I wasn't sure what to expect. Was I pleasantly surprised. The corn dogs were hot from the fryer and I couldn't resist taking a bite before taking a picture for Yelp. The Louisiana Hot Link had a bit of a kick but the batter was the star of the show. These corn dogs are definitely big. I don't like tons of batter on my corn dog but I really enjoyed this well-fried contraption. It was golden brown (which means they used fresh oil and didn't re-use from a day prior) and just crunchy enough without being oily. Would I go back again? Hands down the answer would be ABSOLUTELY. And for those who enjoy a nice beer, Sticks is a perfect combination with a nice cold one."
"Small hole in the wall hot dog spot off in downtown Benicia. Ordered the California Coney. And so good! When you think of jalapeño you don't think it's that spicy, but their's had a nice kick to it! Loved the chili! Would not mind ordering a side of the chili just to eat by itself! all together, great hot dog and would for sure order it again!"
"Seems family run and they treated me like they were glad I came.Very tasty burger with a clever name."
"Lots of pricey dining options in Jack London Square, especially if you're grabbing work lunch in the area - but there are always bargains to be found! Rocky's is a great one - a hot dog cart near the USS Potomac loading area, with many types of hot dogs and sausages, plus a variety of sides (and some Mexican food options to boot!) I went with the classic beef hot dog combo, $5 per the menu but I was ultimately rung up at $6. Not sure why, it might have been me grabbing a Mexican Pepsi as my drink choice. A little bag of chips, and my hot dog topped with ketchup and cheese (you're damn right! Don't judge me!) made a yummy lunch - indulgent without being excessive. One of the best things about this dog was the hefty sesame seed bun, it really added a unique texture and flavor. And who doesn't love a steamed frank? Yumyumyumyumyum!Grab a dog and a drink, find an open bench, and enjoy an affordable lunch on the water! In a pricey area, Rocky's is a diamond in the rough."

Visited this eatery on a quiet Friday afternoon. The half and half korean rice dog (beef dog and mozzarella) with regular panko was freshly made. Stretchy melted cheese and steam coming out. Very crunchy. I'd prefer it a bit more chewy, but it was still good. It took about 10 minutes to be ready, the staff calling my number out to pick up at the counter. Other than that, zero interaction with staff since I ordered from the kiosks at the left side of Fremont Food Hall.

That was a good dog! The building I work at hosted a summer social today catered by Hal's. I don't usually eat hot dogs (unless I'm at a sporting event) but today I couldn't resist the aromas coming off the grill. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the conversation. And the polish dog was grilled to perfection and one of the tastiest dog's I've ever had. So glad I didn't miss out!

I was so looking forward to my little treats after a long day. I drove 20mins to reach there, a store in a not very safe neighborhood. Then I ordered using the tablet. Waited about 5 min to get my donuts.Drove home in 20min, found out they gave me the wrong order. So very upset but I wont be driving back...

Was going to sandwich shop next door Yelped Mooyah. Decided to come in. Greater by a very nice lady at the front counter. She is the most professional server I've ever encountered. With her help I ordered a bacon cheese burger, sweet potato fries and a Green Chili Queso as a dip. Burger arrives and look great. Not sure what the bun is but it is very good. Dip some of the fries in the queso- WoW!!!Really good. Place is clean and comfortable. I will be back!!!

We're talking classic drive in spot here that dishes out several types of dogs. You won't even get this variety of dogs at your local park. They got a real snap to them. Not like they are being sassy, but just because they have a nice casing and it's a quality hot dog. Casper's is a whole old school vibe. The hot dogs are great but probably could be a little cheaper but hey I get it. I had the chili too. It wasn't half bad but I'm not claiming it as high level chili. If you like nostalgic drive ins and hot dogs then Casper's is the spot for you.(4.0 Stars)

Seoul Hotdog holds residence at the end of Hearst Food Court across from campus. They have 5 different crust options: original, potato, sweet potato, hot Cheetos, and ramen. Besides hotdogs you can also get 3 types of cheeses, and they even have a veggie option.I love getting the mozzarella or hotdog with the potato crust. It's really filling. For that crust it's good to let the corn dog sit for a few minutes because it can burn the roof of your mouth. The inside is nice with 2 TVs playing Korean pop and other videos but there are only 3 tables. The food court has many large group tables outside. It's worth noting they are closed on Sundays, they also close random times so just check their schedule before venturing out there especially if you are driving far. I believe it's family run, so they take a week or two off during the holidays or for family vacations.

Rebecca might be the most friendly person at a food truck I've ever encountered. Tasty unique bites, and she says she plays with the menu often. Looking forward to seeing what she comes up with next!!

Smh... Like my 10-year old just taught me... This is "Bussin" means really good, the best! We came when they opened and waited for about 15 min and bam, this heavenly food came out. Small place with the best BBQ in town. Trust me

"This place was the best surprise!! We stopped by for a quick dinner before a concert at Oakland Arena and it did NOT disappoint - this feedback is especially meaningful from my bf who can be hard to please !!The portions were huge and served us a couple meals each. The burrito was FIRE with a hefty portion of pastor and was so tasty. The torta was massive and full of different kinds of meat - super filling. We would definitely come back here for a pre-concert or baseball game meal!"
"4.5 stars. Walked pass by this place so many times and finally decided to try it out on 4th of July with my parents. Ordered double cheese burger, fish burger, chicken sandwich, cheese fries, and onion rings. Sat outside in the patio. I'm usually not someone who frequent a burger joint but the double cheese burger here definitely won me over! It was cooked to perfection with tender meat patties and gooey cheese. The onion rings are the best I've had. So crispy and not oily at all. My parents really enjoyed their food as well and raved about the onion rings. My only gripe is that the fries aren't as good as I have hoped. They're a bit too soft and soggy. Overall it's the perfect classic American meal. I was satisfied. We'll be back! Happy 4th of July!"
"Awesome little place! Came here on a. Friday evening about 45 min prior to closing up and the guy was still happy to make my friend and I a hotdog. My hotdog came with coleslaw and another sauce that was really good - just how I like it, messy and tasty. I would've gotten the nacho cheese dog but they were all out of nacho cheese but what I got was a great mix between sweet and saucy. Loved it."
"Growing up in the Peninsula most of my life, I wasn't too familiar with Caspers Hot Dogs. In fact, I didn't know anything about them, to be honest. I just happen to be at Richmond Civic Center taking care of some personal matter and after returning to my car, I was about to drive off, but I noticed this bright, orange-colored structure staring right at me from a block away. First of all, anything that is colored orange will immediately get my attention for obvious reasons (Go Giants), and this one was practically screaming at me. I didn't start my car and ended up removing my keys from the ignition and began walking here. The architecture has a 50's old diner look to it, but only in a more compact package. The place is tiny, but it's cute and certainly stands out. They certainly have the branding on point since there's a "Caspers" sign on top of the structure and a signpost for a double whammy. Due to Covid, take-out orders at this time. When I walked in, there was a customer placing their order, but the ladies greeted me so warmly that I felt so welcomed. The menu is on the rear left of the place, and it's a simple, minimal old-school menu. Since they're famous for their hotdogs, I got a chili cheese dog ($6.69) with everything on it. The lady that was making my dog kept referring to me as "Honey" and had me buzzin' like a bee. Besides, the way that she asked if I wanted everything on it, I just couldn't resist. Really though, both of them were so sweet, friendly and lovely that I felt like on Cloud 9 and grinning from ear to ear. When I got back to my car, I had plans of devouring it, but quickly realized that wasn't going to happen with all the stuff that was on it. So, I had to wait until I got home and full discretion here...I had to eat it with a fork. I tried eating like a normal hotdog, but it was just too messy. The hotdog had a nice snap to it and tasted well with everything together. The bun couldn't hold up to all the toppings from the chili and cheese, and just made a soggy spectacle. That's why I picked up a fork. It was pure guilty pleasure, and I was enjoying the moment. Is it healthy? Probably not. Even the "cheese" sprinkled on top and melted together under the heat of the chili looked suspicious. But once in a while, eating a bit of nostalgia is worth taking a chance and it'll take you on a journey to the past. Caspers was started by an Armenian family in Chicago then moved to the Bay Area. It was established in 1934 and have expanded to 7 locations, all in the East Bay. This location in Richmond, one in Dublin, two in Hayward, one in Oakland, one in Pleasant Hill and last one in Walnut Creek. It is run by the founders' grandchildren consisting of these seven restaurants, wholesales and online sales. Funny how an orange-colored structure will make me do."
"Vegan dogs and delicious cocktails? Say less!! Friendly bartenders, stunning and yummy cocktails and enticing vegan hotdogs!! Chill vibe Must visit if you're in the Oakland area!"
"Great hot dogs, the cheese dog is my favorite! Their hot dogs remind me of another place in the Bay Area, that my parents took me to growing up. The line can be long at times, so try to get there before (or after) the lunch time crowd!"
"Best freaking French fries hands down! Out of this world!, even when delivered or next day as left overs. The burgers are also great especially the fact they offer BBEF BACKN!! No more phony bacon or half attempts with turkey, beef bacon is the closest to real bacon, pork bacon that is since it's the bacon of a cow.. not sure if that's how anatomy works in the butcher work lol but it's damn good bacon and I can imagine a certain clientele who would be flocking at the doors. It's so hard to find pork alternatives that's still meat and taste great. The brand they use for beef bacon must be similar to the ones sold at Whole Foods bc my dad buys them by the cases. Also the chocolate shake is awesome though I originally ordered the cherry cheesecake but sold out. Ordering again and going for the "Cinnamon Toast Crunch" baby!!gottah but on my big belly pants! I'll update with photos soon!"
"Best Myungrang Branch Ever! This location is hands down the best Myungrang branch I've been to! They offer a wider selection than the Cupertino branch--not only serving delicious Korean hotdogs but also tteokbokki and taiyaki in a variety of amazing flavors. The hotdogs were super fresh and tasty, and the rose tteokbokki was loaded with free toppings like bacon, hotdogs, and fishcakes--such a great surprise! The atmosphere is just as great as the food. They have a cute outdoor seating area that's perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends. On top of that, the staff was incredibly kind, and the owner was super cool and pleasant to chat with. Thanks for a fantastic Saturday lunch! Can't wait to come back. :)"
"I love hotdogs and this stand is conveniently located outside of the Ashby Bart station. When ever I go past here, I am tempted to eat a hot dog for lunch. The guy working is always super friendly. I like the hot link here. There's a ton of condiments to choose from. The stand also sells other snacks and drinks."
"I recently visited Frank and Furter's Handcrafted Hot Dogs, and it was an absolute treat! Their menu is packed with variety, and everything I tried was incredible. To start, I had the Jumbo Mozzarella Cheese Stick, which was perfectly crispy with a gooey cheese pull. The Garlic Fries were loaded with flavor, and the Chicken Nuggets & Fries were the perfect comfort food combo. As for their specialty hot dogs, the IMPOSSIBLE™ Kyoto Heat, IMPOSSIBLE™ Truffle Dog, and IMPOSSIBLE™ Chicago were all so unique and delicious - I was impressed by how flavorful their plant-based options were. For a classic bite, the American Chicken Sandwich was juicy and satisfying. For dessert, the Funnel Cake Fries with chocolate sauce stole the show - a sweet, crispy treat to end the meal! I paired my meal with a refreshing Root Beer and a fruity Strawberry-Pomegranate drink, both perfect complements. The staff was kind and helpful, walking us through the menu and making great recommendations. There's plenty of clean seating space, making it a great spot to hang out and enjoy your meal.If you're looking for handcrafted, flavorful hot dogs and more, I'd highly recommend giving Frank and Furter's a visit!"
"Support family owned, local business!!!I like it a lot! Vegan friendly-they prep and cook on separate griddles than the meats. Oh! They make their own dogs too! They have a large variety of options. Can handle large orders on the fly. Our team loves the gumbo, doggies and me of course the vegan. Great service."
"What's going on?First, a bar. Now a beer company?!It's not what you think, things haven't dampened me to the bottle or beer. A friend who is a Tuesday farmer's market regular generously offered and bought me a hot dog. Thinking that I knew the INS and outs of the Ferry Building, said friend showed me this place. My friend walked to the counter of this stand next to the new doggie boutique store and ordered me a fancy hot dog (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=YFagMouzbYC6zLNIxpjjIQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q); getting the beef dog, the menu describes this as including housemade kraut, mustard, and fancy sauce. The cashier asked whether we wanted it spicy which we both said yes. The stoneground mustard along with the bite (chewiness) of the dog paired well with the delicious bun. This definitely ain't no Costco hot dog, pardon my grammar. I enjoyed this and it was a perfect accompaniment to my salad in the office for lunch. In studying the food menu, there are a couple of other items that I'd like to try so, perhaps in the next couple of weeks, I may be posting more photos of their foods.About the beer, well, as mentioned, I'm not a beer kind of guy so I'll leave that to others."
"Park Burger is one of the best local burger joints in Oakland, and I cannot recommend them enough. I don't know what Amber D's deal is; if the food was as bad as you say it was, where's the photo for proof? I have a hard time believing the greens were brown or that the burger made you sick. I've been coming here since the place opened several years ago and can confidently say I've never had an issue here, nor do I hesitate to dine here time and again. They have a fantastic selection of burger combinations, all ingredients are sourced locally, and the beer on tap is always on point, too."
"We love Bismillah!!!! Running this spot for years with consistent and friendly service! I'm so thankful we got our guy here because I work down the street and I love me a quick bite for under $10. He's got all kinds of snacks and beverages. He's so sweet. He now accepts cards too now y'all. Protect Bismillah at all costs!"
"Been coming here since I was a child. Now my Al duly kid comes here Love it!!!! I never know if I want breakfast or a burger. This place has it all. Fresh, good food."
"I drove passed yesterday to see flowers and a memorial sign where the Yummy Hot Dog cart usually is. Someone left a print out of a news article that read: "['Yummy' AKA, Assad, AKA Mir Afadulah Bakhtary operator of the Yummy Hot Dog cart on 66th and Hollis ] was killed by a Union Pacific freight train as it rolled through Berkeley late Monday morning, according railroad spokeswoman Zoe Richmond..."source: http://www.mercurynews.com/breakingnews/ci_11613067You will be missed. FYI: the cart is still open for business with a different Yummy."
"It was outside Gilman Brewery and I could not say no. I have a weakness for hot dogs, and this truck made me heart and tummy happy. I opted for a classic with light relish and an order of tots, and it was a perfect beer snack with my co-hort.The relish was not too sweet and the onions were cut in small piece that it was in ever little bit. I also smelled butter on the roll, which was not your standard store bough roll and was toasted on both sides. Total come out to $9 and I tip a dollar, so a perfect "budget" meal.Next time I will try the chili dog, or the slaw dog, SO many choices...."
"If you haven't tried the mochi donuts from this cute little gem in Hercules, you're missing out! Nestled in a cozy strip mall across the street from Trader Joe's, this spot has an inviting vibe, a clean and cheerful setup, and an ever-changing menu of deliciously unique donuts every week. And don't get me started on the Korean hotdogs WOW!!!!Their donuts are next-level--crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with flavors that make you want to try them all in one sitting (trust me, it's hard to resist)! And just in time for Christmas, they're open for pre-orders. Perfect for sharing... or not.Check out their Instagram, give them a call, or better yet, head down there and see what all the hype is about. Just be warned: they're so good, you might forget to take a picture before diving in. #MochiDonuts #FoodieFinds #HerculesEats #SupportLocal #DonutLover #SweetToothSatisfaction"
"This review is for their food truck. I've been coming here for many years and at the time it was a tiny truck with a small plastic table with maybe about 4 seats. This place by far has the best tacos I've had in Richmond. I will say that sometimes it's inconsistent but even then I always recommend this place. I will literally travel from Sonoma county just to get tacos from here and I will keep doing so! They have upgraded their seating space and now also have a marisco truck which I have only tried once and it was just okay. Thank you tacos el chino for the tasty tacos and great service."
"Worst food truck experience I've had in a long time. We had to wait about 20 minutes for 2 hotdogs. The fries were not cooked--some of them were literally cold still. We saw them mess up 2 other people's orders while waiting. The hotdog was okay but got unappetizingly soggy before I finished it. Staff were very nice though!"
