"Meet your new favorite dessert!!! I follow this bakery on Instagram and have tried some of their cakes in the past (we always order them for birthdays), but NOTHING BEATS MY BIRTHDAY CAKE. My friends surprised me with a cake inspired by my favorite emoji (brain, no less), and the results were mind-blowing. We had up out on a table at a venue, and every few minutes people came up to us asking about it. Now, let's talk about the flavor because it surpasses the looks! The cerebral cortex frosting was peanut butter flavored while the inside of the cake was chocolate (my favorite combo).I'm looking forward to trying more cute and delicious things from Itty Bitty Bakery!"

Ordered the glazed pork ribs, gambas, and calamari off of the starter menu; again not expecting anything spectacular. WOW food was elevated and finger licking delicious! We also ordered two cocktails and they were top shelf...not at all watered down, had all the garnishes and proper ice for what we ordered. Support this local diamond in the ruff, you won't be disappointed! Only suggestions and not a necessity. Turn up the thermostat a tad. Chop up cashews and sprinkle on the top of the ribs instead of serving them whole-whole makes them a little misplaced. PS: very friendly staff!"

"I did not expect Niles Ice Cream to be so good. I was in the area on a hot day so what better way to cool off than to get ice cream. They have a large variety of flavors and always give you a humongous scoop. - Caramel Cashew - I don't even like caramel that much but I was a big fan of this ice cream. There was huge chunks of cashews in every bite and the caramel wasn't so overwhelmingly sweet.- Peanut Butter Fudge - I love how each flavor is so distinct and this peanut butter one is no different. I love how pervasive the peanut butter was and you can definitely taste the fudge (chunky) parts.Absolutely loved my experience here and am already thinking about what flavor to get next time. By the way, the line may seem long from the outside but it moves very quickly. My only complaint was that I wanted to sit inside the store but there was way too many flies."

Everything tastes homemade and small batch. The first time I popped in, I was with my 11 month old daughter and she dropped a bib. A few weeks later, I popped back in and Mrs. T asked ''Is this yours?'' And there was my baby's bib! I couldn't believe she saved it and remembered it was mine. I love small businesses with small town owners like this. I'll enjoy supporting this small business. :)"

"Cookies yes, yes and more Yes's please! These cookies although many try to claim are overrated are definitely delicious. They melt in your mouth and leave you wanting more. My family and I like to order the 6 pack box and get one of each that we all love. My favorite being their classic pink sugar however that was before I knew when you ordered the chocolate chip they service it to you warm! That right there is genius! We were literally fighting over the chocolate chip which is an overall classic fav. The stores are small but welcoming offering really great photo ops! I really enjoy the atmosphere of their stores just so cute like every pink lovers dream!"

"Please read as 3.49. When I read Grace T's review of Penelope I was very interested. The omelette sounded really good and I liked that they had tea in addition to coffee. I suggested it to Nina for lunch today and we drove together, since parking can be difficult in downtown Berkeley. I picked her up and we found a parking spot on Kittredge, a short walk from the restaurant.We walked into the restaurant, which is spacious and very clean. We went up to the counter, unsure whether they had table service. They don't. The sweet young man behind the counter took our orders. Every staff member I interacted w/ was friendly and helpful, w/o exception, including the woman I spoke w/ by phone yesterday to verify that omelettes would be available for lunch. I ordered the meat lover's womlette Grace had raved about. As I'm writing this I realize the 'w' in front implies a waffle component, which I didn't process until this moment. I also ordered Earl Grey tea w/ oat milk and stevia. The man asked how many stevias I wanted, which I appreciated. I said one, but later requested another. I also had a choice of bread for my toast and chose sourdough. Nina ordered an avocado toast and a waffle as well as a decaf coffee pour over to drink, as they didn't have chai available, which was her first interest..We took a table by the window looking out on Kittredge. Soon our beverages were brought to us. A little while afterwards a waffle was brought to the table, which confused us because it wasn't what Nina had orrdered. When the man came to deliver Nina's avocado toast and waffle we asked him about my omelette and he pointed to the waffle and said that was it. I had a memory of seeing a photo of an actual omelette in Grace's review, but clearly that memory was inaccurate. I ate it and it was OK. I was disappointed and wouldn't order it again. The sourdough toast was OK too. Maybe wheat toast would have been more interesting. Nina was unhappy that her waffle came out cold. She liked her avocado toast and coffee. She said if she came back she would order a panini. I'm not sure I would return. There are so many great restaurants, both new and old, to explore."

They are huge boba fans so that's all they wanted the moment we passed Baby Cafe while walking through the Public Market. Naru Sushi laid roots next to Casa and at first glance, has a pretty pricey menu, which is expected for being housed in a newly renovated market + inflation.Decided to take a break from Super Duper Burgers and give it its first Yelp review.-Titanic Roll $19.95 (subbed tuna for salmon) - the roll looked promising - decently sized w/ cucumber, shrimp (FYI not tempura shrimp) inside topped with salmon, avocado and spicy crab. After a bite, I noticed that the roll was very rice-heavy, which was making it look big. The taste was ok- I felt like it was missing something. -Salmon sashimi appetizer (4 pieces) $12- fresh and tasty but kinda small for the price. Overall, an average Japanese spot for sushi. Debating whether I would return- there's a lot of competition in the PM!"

Service during this visit was mediocre not attentive , understandably, busy night for all the staff . Our group's favorite dish were pork ribs, bitter melon with black bean sauce cooked in clay pot. We could order another plate of their crispy tofu with black pepper & jalapeno. Follow by stirfry ong choy with fermented tofu . who would've thought fermented tofu goes so well together with the leafy vegetables. Hainan chicken dipping sauce were so delicious except I didn't like that. The chicken was refrigerator cold, I know that's how it was supposed to serve . Our two least favorite dishes were the shrimp vermicelli clay pot & the roasted duck noodle soup. MM mom NBCOf course we finish off with waffle balls with fresh fruits, light airy, a little fluff, and the Asian says not too sweet. It's a good thing."

"I had heard such good things about this bakery, but the truth is that I don't ever find myself in Oakland in the morning. However, here I was walking on Grand Avenue on Friday around noon. The door was open, and the sandwich sign was out. There was already a steely woman with two boxes of baked goods. I was just hoping she left something for the rest of us.I quite like the idea of a female-run bakery that serves goodies with a dim sum twist. There are no cafe tables in here, so I decided to get three things to go. We took his suggestion.We arrived a little after 6pm on a Friday evening. Finding parking was no issue, as this restaurant is located in the Ranch 99 Plaza. When we walked in, we were the first customer and was greeted with a friendly smile and the lady told us to sit anywhere.We sat down and ordered our food. Daughter got her dosa and mango lassi. Wife and I got the garlic naan, andhra chicken curry, vijaywada chicken biryani, and a samosa chaat. Food arrived in a reasonable time. First came the dosa platter with 3 chutney dipping sauce. Then came the samosa chaat. Then the andrha chicken curry. Then the garlic naan. And last to arrive was the vijaywada chicken curry.Everything tasted super delicious. My daughter really enjoyed her dosa and mango lassi. My wife and I enjoyed everything else. The food portion was great. When we were full, we still had plenty of the rice and chicken curry left over to take home.The complimentary chai tea at this place has a distinct sweet after taste, even though no sugar was added. It did not taste like other chai tea from other restaurants, but was still quite nice. I really enjoyed the dosa and the garlic chutney is hands down my favorite dipping sauce. The spice level and flavor on the rest of the dish was perfect for our taste. We definitely will come back again next time we want Indian food."

They planned and managed a very delicious memorial dinner for us for approximately 75 guests. The customer service and food were excellent - our menu included roasted salmon, vegetarian mousaka, rice, Greek salad and garlic bread, plus dessert of Baklava and sugar cookies which everyone also loved. They also handled dinnerware, water, lots of set up and clean up, soft drinks and pretty bottled Greek waters for the tables. "I've been eyeing this new boba shop since it landed on IG. I've missed the soufflé pancakes from Gram Cafe and the ones from Hanabusa seemed too eggy for me. Truewin takes it out of the park-- soufflé pancakes were so fluffy and soft without any overly eggy taste! My favorite was the chocolate cream filling sprinkled with crushed Oreos. I also tried the matcha cream with pistachios, which was sweeter. Only downside is price ~$9-10 each. Steep but I would get the chocolate one again. They currently have a promotion of 2 for $16 and 4 for $30 until 12/31!I've been here twice and both times I greatly enjoyed the drinks I ordered. First visit was the lychee oolong fruit tea with tea jelly. Soo refreshing and I was able to get no sweet. Last time I got the iron goddess milk tea no sweet with both golden boba and qq noodle. While the latter was a bit overcooked, I loved the golden boba! Texture was spot on chewy/bouncy and it reminded me of Sunright's honey boba. This brand took over Ume and before that it was T4. Seating is still on the left side but they have fewer seats than before, about 5 low round tables and 3 chairs each. Comfy though. Order at the kiosk and they'll text when the order's ready. They have snacks like popcorn chicken, takoyaki, calamari, and sweet potato fries."
