"Incredible lattes. The kind of coffee I don't like. I love!Nice, quiet spot with seating inside and out. Though it's often full inside. Caught a jazz combo here one Sunday afternoon. I like Peet's Coffee well enough. But the one down the block here is always so hectic and busy as to be not so enjoyable. This is a fantastic alternative. Bonus: they'll even roast beans for you."
"A cozy cafe in downtown Oakland.Food/Drinks:- Lavender latte: Good. Brew was decent. Lavender flavor was subtle and not too overpowering. Pleasant combination. Service: Good. There a line to place order and several people waiting for their orders as well. Took about 5-10min to order, and then another 10min to get the coffee. I guess this wait is expected in many good cafes, so don't expect a quick grab and go situation.Ambiance/Vibe: Great. Unique industrial factory decor and structural features. Cafe was busy, yet still a quiet place to have a chat or get some work done.Cost/Value: Good. $5 for medium latte. On par with most other coffee shops."
"I used to really love the brie and date scones, but when I got one today I could not taste the brie nor any chunks of date aside from the one piece up top. Really bland and tasted like baking soda. I do love this gem of a cafe, but wish they would tighten up their food to its previous glory."

Brief Summary:- Coffee is not sour- Coffee is also strong- Indoor and outdoor seating availableWhenever I come to 4th street, I like to come here for a coffee break. It's located a little off from the main 4th street shopping blocks, but it is within a short walking distance. I like how the cafe has a dark, wooden theme and its high ceiling. It's almost like I stepped into a quiet library.

Tierra Mia is my go to meeting spot for friends and such. I love their location- parking is usually a breeze and in a very walkable central part of downtown Oakland. Their horchata latte is my go to but their teas are a hit too! I'm not too much of a coffee drinker so I can't give a review there. Always love their fire playlists (reggeaton/Bad Bunny the last few times I've been there). Great vibe overall!

I love this unpretentious cafe tucked away on a South Berkeley side street. It has ample seating (including a backyard patio), decent coffee and food, plus beer if you want to stick around for a while and shift from your morning to afternoon beverage. Way Station seems to be popular with UC Berkeley students, but is thankfully not overrun with undergrads.

Yong is a curator of coffee beans from allover the world including China. His pours are brewed at the right temperatures to bring out the flavors of each particular bean without burning your tongue or the flavor out. Cute little shop in the back of an arts collective that includes a vintage clothing shop and a kids store.

"Love this place that's tucked inside the equally lovely shop Min'na. Super unique latte lineup. Got the Shiro (miso! roasted sesame seeds!) and the seasonal Hong (gochugaru! Sichuan peppercorn!) lattes - both were delicious and not too sweet. Can get it hot or iced. Definitely coming back to try the others!"
