"We were visiting my daughter at college, and she insisted we visit this place and that her brother and sister would love it, and she was right. The bowls are huge, and there are only two sizes, regular and large. These are considered the "regular" size and they are absolutely shareable. They come with a side of sweetness condensed milk to pour on top. Adding the condensed milk turns the snow cone more into an ice cream consistency. The bowls look beautiful with the fresh toppings, but the star of the show is the ice! It is unlike any snow one I've ever had. It's incredibly soft, and feels like what you'd expect magical snow to taste like. Fun place for kids, a date, or just a sweet treat for yourself."

"Really great spot for a large selection of classic asian desserts. I wish more of these one-off dessert bistros existed around the bay area. You could argue Meet Fresh fits the bill, but I think there's something special about the vibe of these one-off dessert shops that is hard to replicate in a giant franchise. We ordered four desserts:1. Egg puffs (bubble waffles) with mango ice cream and fruit2. Almond Tofu Pudding3. Mango Pomelo Sago4. Milk Ice with Green Tea and Strawberry Ice CreamDespite have a cheesecake factory sized menu, the quality on every dish was upheld, and the waiter was very attentive when we were ordering individual ice cream flavours. Speaking of the ice cream - it was fantastic; the mango ice cream they have was exceptional with a great flavour and texture.P.S. i love that there's curry fish balls on the menu and it just falls right in the middle of the menu between two types of desserts - if that isn't a sign of a high quality classic asian dessert shop, I don't know what is."

"Always Your Bakery was our dessert caterer for our wedding this year. Before we had decided to go with Natalie, we visited a few bakeries nearby and went to a lot of wedding fairs. We met Natalie during one of the first wedding fairs we went to and was instantly amazed by her desserts, but also how sweet she was. We decided to visit their store front & ordered a bunch of desserts; ube cheesecake, macarons, ube crinkle cookies, cupcakes. They were all seriously delicious! So we booked with her right away. Their cheesecakes are a MUST try, I'm drooling just thinking about it. During the wedding planning process, we went to the cafe quite a few times. The store is super cute, ambiance is relaxing, and the staff always greets you with a smile & happy to help. We also reached out to Natalie multiple times, as our guest list got bigger, and she was more than happy to accommodate us. We shared with her multiple photos for inspo & and what we were envisioning. Every interaction, every correspondence with her has always been super positive & she was always open to every one of our ideas.On our wedding day, desserts were delivered, and omg they were as delicious as they were gorgeous! Our guests loved them so much, my husband and I barely had any. Luckily, I reached out prior & ordered our own private stash in case this happened, I'm so glad I did lol. The macarons were so yummy, we had multiple flavors and they were all so good. They were the hit of the night. The tiramisu cups was another crowd favorite. I didn't even get to taste any, but I heard from guests how obsessed they were with it. The cupcakes were almost too pretty to eat, but they disappeared just as fast. The ube crinkle cookies (and my personal favorite) were BOMB - so soft, so chewy, i can actually taste the ube. Not many places can say that. They'll call it an ube cookie, but it's really just purple. This cookie though is actually *ube* flavor. As much as we love Peter's Bakery in San Jose and Susie's cakes - this tops them both. Each one of their treats is moist, full of flavor, not overly sweet, and just so dang beautiful to look at. We had a Susie's Cake cupcake the other day, and although it was good, it tasted a bit dry to us. The difference is wild after we've been spoiling ourselves with Always Yours Bakery. I can confidently say, this is my favorite bakery hands down. The quality of every single item on their menu and friendliness of the staff and Natalie herself, is well worth it. We can't wait to come back already."

She recommended the bacon & cheese mochi waffle and I'm happy she did because it was the perfect little pick me up and only $3. It is small so I'd recommend getting 2 if you want a treat (it's also so cute, shaped like a corgi!). I ordered the honeycomb latte at 75% sweet - I have a sweet tooth so at first I didn't think it was sweet enough, but once the honeycomb dissolved it was perfect. This place is definitely a hidden gem."

"With so many boba spots in Berkeley, TP Tea is amongst one of the more popular ones. The shop has been around for a while but it was the first time my cousin and I went.Inside the shop is on the smaller end. There are several tables for two scattered and depending on the time of day it could be full or empty. Ordering is done via kiosk or online and drinks come out relatively fast. Most customers take their drinks to go like we did. Service interaction is pretty nonexistent as the workers just make the drinks. The boba shop has a pretty expansive menu of teas and fruit teas plus snacks. My cousin enjoyed her drink and I got a Mango Latte with Oat Milk. There was a fixed sweetness and ice level and the drink was super duper sweet. It tasted like mango purée and juice with a splash of oat milk and even mixing it didn't dilute the sweetness level. There also wasn't too much boba included. For paying a lot for it, I didn't find it worth it. Also, a bummer is that dairy alternatives are strictly for lattes, matcha, coffee, and smoothies--not milk teas or specialty drinks. With the variety of drinks, I can see why TP Tea is popular. I probably won't frequent as much due to the limited options of alternatives and adjustments. They're sandwiches between other shops off Telegraph with street and garage parking nearby."

Mika was very friendly, polite, and efficient at her job. And there were quite a few baristas behind the counter making the drinks, so our overall wait time was not too long despite the number of people who ordered in front of us. The interior here is very large and spacious, with a decent amount of tables available if you opt to enjoy your drink indoors."

"Great place to go for hot plate sizzling food! We came on a weekday night and they were pretty crowded at around 6 pm. You order on QR code, and they bring the food out to you. I highly recommend you to not wear something that is hard to wash because the smell will permeate into your clothing. I ordered the curry rice with beef and added kimchi on top. We also ordered the calamari to share, the calamari took awhile to come out, about 15 min, they make it fresh! I really enjoyed my dish! It came with a good portion of meat and rice."

But the marination and the flavoring is there. Banh mi is not authentic. Radishes have no taste, no jalapeño, and they put this "chimichurri" style sauce all over. For the price, you may skip and order it from authentic Vietnamese sandwich place.Service is pretty good and fast. They took our order and food came out very fast. Location is pretty clean and bright. Only thing is that floor is a little slippery in the hallway going to the bathroom due to the oil build ups."

I loved the texture of the bread part itself and the flavors of the filling were so good. They also offer 2 sauces to have with the empanadas and they enhanced it even more. If you're an empanada fan, I recommend checking this spot out! The store itself is on the smaller end, but there are a few seats if you want to eat there. I coincidentally came when they were having a Yelp experience, which was cool, and I loved all the Yelp decor. Service was also friendly."

The place is designed for to-go because of its affordable prices and convenient packaging (every already packaged as to-go). Even if you get the food to eat there, it's self-serve. The inside is small and can get crowded though. I only dined in once during a hot evening and the one running fan was not cutting it for us. I noticed there was outside seating, but it was even hotter outside. In conclusion, the place has good prices and convenient packaging that is perfect for to-go orders. Don't expect too much for a dine-in experience though."

"TLDR pricey and limited menu offerings I hope fellow boba fans will understand when I say this: there is your afternoon pick-me-up boba and then there is your dessert treat yourself boba, and this is definitely the latter. (I know all boba is technically always a dessert and a treat but hear me out...)I wanted a plain Thai green tea or matcha latte, but didn't see this option on their menu? There's a mango matcha... strawberry matcha... and Thai green tea float which I ended up getting. I say this isn't a daily boba stop for me because their menu is lacking the basics. Since they don't have more simple drinks, their everything on their menu is well over $6 (I think I paid $8 after tax and tip). The service was good and fast. The drink itself was sweet and rich with the green tea flavor. Their boba was nice and sweet. The ice cream scoop was really tiny (maybe I'm just bitter because I didn't want it in the first place but couldn't order without), but the flavor was good. The interior was cute and well decorated with limited seating. Not really doing anything wrong, but Berkeley has so many boba shops that I don't see myself being a regular here."

Our first experience at a Sunright wasn't great but this spot is much better and has changed our minds of the tea studio.These days, I don't have to worry about a line. It seems like every time I go, it's pretty vacant. The parking situation though is still a bit packed as it is sharing the lot with other restaurants and businesses. The spots are also just a bit small which makes parking a bit scary.Whenever I've gone the past few times, drinks basically come out so fast.
